12/4 : Most of them are getting out the soil. Pink Gasolines are the slowest to pop off. 💪 Had to manage the pot space in the dome so there's currently 2 seedlings per pot. 16/4 I have now moved all the plants into a bigger 120x60 tent. Also a friend loaned me an old 600w LED fixture (Horticoled XMAX6 V4) until i get my Migro Array 4 240w There's now a humidifier in the box and they are in bigger pots now 💪

👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Well week 1 of flower first day 12.12 light schedule finally figured out how to make changes to heights and nutes on this sites diary, starts todayran into a slight problem with the jack herer seeds they had a rare over growth of inner follisge that developed after topping and within 4 days before going into today week 1 of flower to remove scrog net and re prune they seemed to react differently than other breeders same strain but no big deal cut netting off to avoid damaging during end of veg before plants Garrett to tall which I have the room for just not the extra time it would of taken so we are starting flower and will just grow wall to wall in this 48x48x80 tent

I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

Week 2 and the clones are starting to veg nicely. Got some nice roots starting to develop in the nutrient solution so hopefully over the ne t week or so I should see some nice growth. Couple of the older fan leaves that came with the clone were starting to do more damage than good so decided to strip some and I'll do the others over the next few days Day 10 Uploaded some more pictures of the root system these babies are developing quickly. Next feed/water change is due tomorrow so I'll up the white shark powder to help aid the root growth and I'll also increase the fulvic acid to 2mm per litre of water Day 11 Added some shogun sumo boost at 1ml per litre and increased the cal mag 3ml per litre and increased the great white rooting powder to one and a half spoonfuls. Ok so now the plants they are looking nice and green the newer leaves have a really healthy smell of chlorophyll the older leaves that came with the clones look a bit worse for ware but are still doing more good than bad so they will stay for now. So I tried some kushman chiropractic techniques to increase strength and nutrient transfer. The first one my stomach was doing flips I was so nervous I thought I might snap the stem completely but all was good the plants dropped a little but have started to recover after only half hour in the tent. I will repeat this process once a week on the new growth Day 13 Started to use sumo boost foliar spray at 1ml diluted with 1 litre of ph 6.5 water. Cut off some more of the damaged leaves and they are all looking back to good health after the kushman chiropractic treatment Day 15 Got myself a ppm meter and checked my reservoir as I haven't used one during the grow I was expecting to be around the 450ppm mark but to my surprise it was at a lovely 380ppm. Solution temp is now constant at 22.2c humidity fluctuates between 55%rh and 73%rh Day 18 so I've added two carbon dioxide bags to the grow room to give these ladies a little extra boost. Nutrients and temps have all stayed the same. Now the plants they are all growing well some better than others but that was to be expected considering I'm using clones that where half dead when I got them. So I stopped the plants and did a little defoliation Day 20 New spider farmer ts2000 has arrived and what a piece of kit it is currently got it set to 60% will be keeping an eye on them to make sure this is not to intense for my girls. Viper 300 carbon filter kit installed and I'm very happy with the filter and the fan supplied got my intake fan set to about 20% to give a good airflow through the tent all in all very happy with my upgrades. Now the girls as you can see they are getting bigger and have bounced back after the second chiropractic treatment and the topping I did to them. I've moved my two 1000w led lights over to one side of the tent to give the coco experiment a bit more light. Not sure if I mentioned this but my tent I's 8ftx5ftx6ft. The smoke is beautiful! and that is without cure. Flavours of fuel and citrus coming through, hopefully they come out after cure. Buds are solid but not that dense. But trichome covered buds to the point that it was very difficult to trim for more than 5 minutes without cleaning off my scissors. Recommend growing 4 or more of these to get a good amount on hand. very little popcorn buds. will update with weights and smoke after drying and short cure. She was a pleasure to grow! likes the calmag. so frosty and greasy! When it has been a day with high temperatures don't be afraid to feed twice! While packing on the weight she can be very thirsty. If fed well she will reward you with frosty hard nugs! Give this strain a try!

After vegging the plants for a few weeks I transplanted them to the flowering tent. They will stay in veg a maximum of 1 more week and then I will switch them in to flower. I also added worms to the soil to keep it nice and airy and have a as natural grow as possible.

She came out to be a pretty noce plant, very small with little stretch tho and very bushy so I'm definitely gonna run her again and see what the other phenos might look like.. I'm feeding them everyday now the cherry gusher and runtz are doing alot better than the og so I will definitely run these again, but I will be using a little smaller pots i suppose... I want to fit more plants in there to use up the space better and a bit faster since I'm going to be pheno hunting and taking clones in future to get the best out of here strains i have around 9 seeds of cherry gusher left i got the big pack as I knew i wanted this one for the beautiful looks and taste and effect i was told it has..
