Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. So far the best plants here without a doubt are the Grapefruits witch are covefed in frost, followed by the Kola Kushes than are not as frosty but are doing well, and finally the Ble Dreams wich are being absolutely disapointing, with hughe internodal spaces with only a few sad calyxes growing on them...

All I can say is WOW. Super happy with this run, the girls have been great and are now ready for their last 7-10 days of flower before the big chop. Time to switch over to RO and Final Finish to polish them up before the big day. Buds are thick and solid, so heavy branches have been bending. Most easily larger than a tall boy of beer. The smell is pure delicious, so good can taste it. Berries and skunk mmmmmmmm

💩Holy Crap💩 That was so much fun , it's full on winter where I am and it kept me busy , and come on there's nothing like growing your own stuff. I had a blast as it's been at least over 10 years since my last indoor grow , and it was fun , I had used all of my old techniques and equipment and it worked out just fine , so I was glad I had a ruff idea of what to expect...... Final thoughts Gonna be honest about that grow , it should me just how far Genetics have come, 10 plus years ago before I stopped growing indoors , all we had was like lowrider auto and greenomatic auto and maybe few others but they were horrible...... but this auto produced quite well as expected it should with the size of my medium and my soil base and very little nutrients, which is what I had hoped for from the start , cause I didn't really know where to start in terms of Genetics as I have been out the game for awhile but I'm super glad with the results and some gratitude needs to be sent to CanukSeeds , they came through as it always starts and ends with elite Genetics👌 ........... I can't wait to start my next grow diary, so keep an eye out , there's gonna be more to come , I'm going to try some really interesting cultivars........ PS. Just stopped grow nutrients for them all, they seem to have plenty of nitrogen going on in them , my bloom nutrients should be plenty to carry her out they rest of the way. Still only feed nutrients as needed , usually water a few times checking my run off ppm to let me know when and how much I can feed without it burning them outright. So far it's been working pretty well with thus tent. But she's growing great. Starting to get a nice sweet candy smell already off her. Should be a nice smell once she's going further into flower. I need to snap some photos tomorrow, didn't grab any today , gotta water them all Monday so plan to snap photos then. But into week 7 we go !!

Very slow this week until I realised the timer was switching on for 15 minutes an hour into darkness, this has put me a couple of weeks behind schedule, should of been flushing for harvest this week instead I’ve been flushing for a couple of days to rid of nutrient lock, after 3 days of water I added just the pk and they’ve bounced back and the buds getting chunkier they’ve also needed a lot of defoliation throughout the week, 2 of the ladies are more a glue pheno in size, structure and a smell of pine, the other is a real chunky blueberry, hopefully I’ll get to the end with no more problems

I had a lot of fun growing pound cake it grew super fast and I had no issues. I would definitely grow it again and recommend it. One plant has a sugary lemon smell and the other reminds me of like brown sugar oatmeal if that makes sense lol so two completely different flavors. I ended up with 166 grams dry weight between the two plants so I'm pretty happy.

Week 8 flushing slowly

Einfach unglaublich die Fastbuds Genetiken, diese terps sind überwältigend, ich war gerade erst in Vegas und hatte auch echt sehr gute strains, aber diese terps übertreffen selbst das @fastbuds bin so gespannt auf die Verkostung

They continue to be very hungry. Mid week I had to change the reservoir and decided to go with full flower nutes from canna. They seem to like it and the flowers start to stretch along the colas. So far so good, I am really curious how they Turn out in the end. Plants have been defoliated heavily one last time to enable more light in the lower canopy.

Moving forward, blooming nice, this second gen is taking form and gaining weight. A few weeks and we will have a nice harvest. Tent is nicely populated and filled. Once i have setup the “semi scrog” it has conformed to it in a couple of days and did a massive difference. It really opens the canopy and create a huge surface to take advantage from the light as opposed to letting it go naturally. I’m defining the technique as semi scrog because i did not setup the net in a traditional early way knitting in veg... It was done later.

Flowering day 15 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) This week the ladies developed beautifully 👍. The stretch has started very strongly :-) . Watering was done twice this week with 1.2 l (see table above for nutrients). The heating mat does exactly what it is supposed to do, you can see that the ladies are doing perfectly again 😃. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water in a 100 liter tank so that I would have enough stale water for the coming week 👍. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. During the check, I noticed that after spraying neem oil 3 times, there were still a few damn trips to see. I have ordered nematodes for leaf and substrate against tripse. Nové větve hezky vyrostly. Dám jim ještě 2 týdny a potom bych rád přepnul světlo na 12/12 Na rostlinách se objevují lehké náznaky popálení živinami. Některé listy mají hnědé konečky ale opravdu jen v malé míře D51 Pondělí: Použil jsme LST abych udržel rostliny v jedné výšce. Během LST mi z 50% praskla 2 větve u HazeBerry 2 ve spoji po posledním zastřižení . Jedna větev je v pořádku. Druhá po 3 dnech vypadá že přežije i když vypadala velmi špatně. Holky dostaly 1L vody s 0,5ml/1l RQS Booster Bigger Flowers. D54 Čtvrtek: Poslední velké LST a Defoliace, kdy jsem z každé rostliny odstranil celkem 16 spodních listů D55 Pátek: Dostaly 1,5L vody s vypsanými živinami Holky jsem postříkal výluhem z hmyzího trusu, který má repelentní účinky téměř na vše.

Howdy it is day 63 and in 2 days it is time to harvest. Since 2 weeks i feed clear Walter only. They get 16 hours darkness before harvest. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. The weight of North Thunderfuck for the dice is insane. I wish everyone a nice Day and good time. Stay safe 💚
