Update June, 10th Found fungus gnats on samy. Put a safety yellow card into taktloss as well. Fingers double-u'd that they don’t spread. Update June, 7th Flip flop flippidy flop flippidy flip flop floppidy flop! FFW - First Flower Week. Set the clock to 12/12 today and enabled the „flower mode“ of my lamp which basically just enables the red LEDs. So them plants ended up in the red light district now. This week will be continuing/finishing the scrogging and lsting and waiting for the stretch to set in. Only one row of scrog squares is left by now so the timing should be perfect. Plants looking good and healthy. I’m at week 7 of my fertilizer schedule and fed another 3 liters today.

4/26 Week 5 Still have not gone more than halfway into flower, lets hope this extends a few days longer. Would like to know Feed is pretty stable, seems dead on from the plants response. Continuing for now. 4/27 Still going in veg although flower seems to be just sitting in the wings ready to step up. Growth tips getting a little hairy but still growth tips. Dropped lights a tad to increase growth leaving HID at 450w MH bulb Gave them a shot of Fish Sh!t and kangaroots get those roots going If I have to guess Baba is going to be the producer here, she is the only one that came up "normally" from the seed, no coloring or size issues. She will get favored placement in the light... sounds ritualistic dont it lol 4/28 Still hanging on to veg by the skin of their teeth but those are still growth tips, hairy but no cola structure beginning yet. Nuets to half Grow half Bloom late: Looks like Athena in is Flower , Baba is transistioning, and Sally brings up the rear but is going very soon. Changed nuets reducing Grow Inc Bloom 4/29 31 Days in Only Athena is in full flower, others transitioning. 4/30 Everybody is in flower but barely so giving a one time shot of PK Really focusing on Baba she is looking like a winner. 5/1 Pics Stretch going full blast overnight, had to raise the lights 4 inches Raised lights again 2 inches they really going after it. Should have turned on the HID/MH earlier (start of week 4), since its been on inter-nodal spacing is excellent. Could have reduced the stretch on Athena and Sally. Baba that is expressing Indica is exactly what you want in the strain. Buds will be green and very dense. Adjusted nuets expecting this to stop tomorrow. Since all three in full flower now will give another shot of PK in the AM 5/2 Going to fold in a low dose of Koolbloom PK for a few feedings, get those buds a going Stretch is still ongoing but is controlled with the extra blue spectrum in the metal halide bulb and Mars LED. Going to keep the process of adding Bloom nuets at first appearance of hairs as I think we got a few extra days of veg out of it. Increased HID to 600 watts raised to 16 inches, ditto for the TS1000 16 inches They shifting quickly to bud building, still some stretch going on, will keep Grow nuets in till it stops. Slight increase in Bloom nuets Athena may well prove to be the most purple we have grown to date.

On week 7 she is still putting out a lot of new pistils. Colas are fattening up but still have a few more weeks to go. The smell is sweet and fruity so far but its still early as trichs are still developing. Her top colas got a little too close to the lights and may be fox tailing or shes just more sativa of a pheno either way shes making some long colas and Im happy about that :)

Deleafed on D75 and put in darkness for 2days. Chopped and hung in tent for 9 days. Smoked up a fair bit before weighing so easily would of been over 3oz dry which was pretty surprising considering the problems. Bud has a strong fuel taste and smell with a little fruitiness.

Such pretty and easy plant to grow, just top dressed with handful of worm castings and less than half handful of bat guano few days ago and she just is exploding with white pistols all over and trichomes also, she smells like sweet lavender with skunk. Very pleased with Zambeza Critical++, anyone could grow her! I cropped one of my Critical the other was LST I can see bigger buds on the cropped one, but it is not obvious so far which one is producing more weights. Just changed Hps 400w to Voost 240w, plants responded well, some older fan leaves were started to cook and burn under hps, way too hot mid day, I can tell some leaves needed a break... Let's see if LEDS helps with heat/light stress... They are at 60cm from canopy, I will bring them down little by little during the next few days... That is it, thank you for following fellow Cannabis lovers!

Week two of flower is here and the first pistils are popping out all over the place. I am pretty pleased with how the training is going and the grow overall. I will here give a report on each plant. 1) Back left plant. Growing very well, the most lateral branching of any plant of the four. multiple additional colas popping up to the canopy level. 2) Back right plant. Growing very well, however almost no lateral branching. Aside from the four main branches and the two lower nodes, there is almost no secondary growth at all, which males this plant a really bad candidate for scrog. To try to encourage more brancing I have topped one of the branches. I do my best. 3) Front left plant. Great growth here, very similar plant to the first. I did accidentally snap a cola off today while training. Whoops. 4) Front right plant. Very similar to the first and third, except she is four days younger so I'm quite pleased that she is holding her own in this scrog. How am I doing so far? This is my first time scrogging, and I am sort of winging it. If you see something wrong please tell me, or if you see something right! Day 8: Fertigated 5l each. Day 10: Photographed and applied defoliation and LST training to continue the scrog process. Day 12: Fertigated 5l each. I will do a final tucking and defoliation in two days, then I will let the girls grow from there in. Day 14: Photographed - will do the final tucking and photograph again More updates to come later in the week. If you are on X, please follow me @Unorthadoxdude

D24 - 10/02/2025 Last week was really good, none of the girls showed any signs of toxicity after the full strength feed, which is good. I’m already seeing signs of pre-flowering on some of the girls, next week for sure we enter flower mode. Applied some LST to the girls and some defoliation. Fan leaves were taking a lot of space, now internal nodes should have more light to use. Not going too crazy on this though. Unfortunately snapped a branch of Northern Lights #1 while applying the LST, must take extra care next time. Still haven’t changed the reservoir, should do that later this week. — D27 - 13/02/2025 Changed the reservoir and mixed nutrients for pre-flower. I’ve been adjusting the LST, but other than that there’s not much of an update. Girls are looking really great and growth is exploding. PPFD is around ~500 on canopy level. — D28 - 14/02/2025 Did another defoliation session. Went a bit more heavy this time. Now we let them recover for a few days.

Water Day (half strength) - [ ] Kangaroots, Microbe Brew, Grow Big, Distilled Water, Ph-6.8, PPM-890). - [ ] Lessons Learned - Ph Up/Down from fox farms is super strong, huge upswing in 500ml distilled water with only 0.25ml of pH Up. - [ ] I think I need to pH water before adding nutrients. Can anyone verify this please? - [ ] Will transplant to recirculating dwc soon, until then probably watering every 3-5 days with current nutrient mix. Can’t wait to get it under better lights! - [ ] Most likely going to mainline if it all works out ok. 6/10/19, DAY 26, UPDATE: Water day due to transplant Decided to change plans a bit. Transferred to big fabric pot and fox farms ocean forest soil. Will grow plant out and cut clones. Will then put clones immediately into DWC setup. This mother plant will then be moved outdoors to flower. Hopefully it all pays off! Day 29 6/14/19 Decided to clear all fan leaves that had less than five fingers then top at the 4th node and LST the remaining fan leaves. The goal is to eventually cut two clones off of the the 3rd node and mainline everything else starting at the 4th node. At least 8 colas is the goal, ideally 16. We’ll see tho, Very surprised at how quickly the leaves pointed back up toward the light and recovered from the lollipopping/topping/LST. Any and all suggestions are welcome! Lofty goals for my first grow ever, hopefully it all works out.

Barneys Farm Cookies Kush 7 Weeks of Flowering Completed 29th march 2020 Here we are at the beginning of the eighth week of Flowering for my Barneys Farm Cookies kush Girls. 😀 They are both looking good Phenotype 1 which is the Indica dominant plant has a higher leaf to calyx ratio than her sister the Sativa dominant phenotype number 2 they both have distinct characteristics to each other such as pheno1 has a sweet smell and more stickiness whilst pheno2 has more of an Earthy smell and is clearly the better looking of the two. Both plants have not had anything for the past 3 days due to the fact that it's been very wet here & the relative humidity is almost at 90% at some times during each day. They don't seem to mind not having been fed or watered which is a bonus as adding more moisture to the environment is not Ideal. So far Zero signs of budrot unlike the other strains I have close to maturity which have all shown a little botrytis forming on some buds. This has given me some hope of being able to let both girls grow right thru until optimum maturity, whereas the Jack herer , Red diesel and girl scout cookies will all end up being harvested earlier than i would have preferred. That is all for this week , Stay safe and away from the crowds everyone and I'll be back next week with another update 👍

Hey everyone! It's week 3 of flower for our Anesia Seeds phenohunt, and things are getting even more exciting in the garden! The plants are thriving, and we're seeing some beautiful development as they enter this crucial phase of their growth. Nutrient Adjustments 🌱💧 This week, we've introduced Potassium (K) into our nutrient regimen. Potassium is essential during the flowering stage as it helps with the development of buds, enhancing their size, density, and overall quality. Here's the updated nutrient mix we're using: Regulator: 0.15ml/L CaMg Boost: 0.25ml/L Top Booster: 0.3ml/L P Boost: 0.4ml/L K Boost: 0.3ml/L With these adjustments, the TDS has gone up to 500 ppm, and the pH is set at 6.0. The temperature remains steady at 21°C, creating the perfect environment for our girls to flourish. The Power of Potassium Introducing K Boost is a game-changer. Potassium plays a vital role in regulating plant metabolism and promoting strong, healthy growth. It aids in: Bud Development: Enhances the size and density of buds, leading to a more substantial yield. Disease Resistance: Strengthens the plant's natural defenses, making them more resilient to diseases. Water Regulation: Helps the plant manage water efficiently, which is crucial during the flowering stage. The Garden Update The Anesia girls are looking spectacular! Each strain is showing unique characteristics, and it's a joy to watch them evolve. Here's a quick update: Future #1: Buds are swelling nicely, and the aroma is starting to intensify. This one's a beast in the making! Zoomiez: Displaying some beautiful coloration and structure. The flowers are stacking up perfectly. Apricot Oreo: This beauty is living up to its name with a fruity scent that's simply irresistible. Red Banana Pudding: The solo survivor continues to shine, with impressive bud development and a delightful fragrance. Maintaining optimal environmental conditions is key. With the Blue Lab Guardian monitor, we're ensuring precise control over the TDS, pH, and temperature. This tool is invaluable in keeping our garden thriving and healthy. After adjusting the nutrients, we gave the girls a thorough watering. The sight of water droplets on the freshly topped plants is always a pleasure. It signifies hydration and health, ensuring the plants can absorb all the nutrients they need for robust growth. A big shoutout to Anesia Seeds for providing these amazing genetics. Their support and trust are deeply appreciated. Also, a huge thank you to Aptus Holland for their exceptional products that keep our plants thriving organically and Future of Grow for the LED lighting that ensures our girls get the perfect amount of photons. Liebe

D29. It's a wee bit early, but I will start counting this week as the first week of flower. The first girl is showing pre-flowers, and the second one is lagging but should soon catch up. I gave each 1.25 liters of water @ pH 6.8, mixed with humic acid, fulvic acid, sprouted seed tea, and bokashi juice. More LST and the DLI bumped to 40. ------------------------------ D32. The girls are simply doing their thing. ------------------------------ D35. This has been an eventful week, to say the least. The girls have exploded. Especially the second girl, as she is almost bigger than the first, even though she has been trailing since the start. She is pushing so hard that the nutrition in the soil has a tough time keeping up, which is noticeable due to the lighter green color. It could be the genetics, but I suspect that feeding sprouted seed tea twice during the week also had some part in it. A couple of days ago, I brewed a compost tea for 8 hours – a simple tea consisting of wormcastings, kelp, rock dust, and molasses. Each girl got 2 liters of tea @ pH 6.7, with sprouted seed tea, humic acid, and fulvic acid added to it. The first girl has just started to show the beginning of hedgehogs but none so far on the second. Even though there are no proper flowers, the apartment is still starting to smell quite a lot. I had to turn up the exhaust in the tent, and I'm concerned about how "bad" this might get as we progress into flower. I'm continuing with LST as the girls are growing and stretching. I almost accidentally topped the second girl due to my overzealous wire tightening. Oops... DLI is set to 45, where I will leave it until we're further into flower. ------------------------------
