Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that move in and are making my life a little chaos. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. She's on pre-flower, switched the nutrients and increased a bit the feeding volume. That's all folks, have a great week

Vanilla Latte from Huboldt Seed Company seems to be very stron strain! others still going very well...

Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Lily and Robin. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Lily, had the seed in water for about 24 hours then in paper towel. Then, into gorilla mix.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy. This girl was drinking a lot slower than the others I’m guessing she’s cooler in that corner at the base but either way growth was slower into bloom but now she has shot to an impressive 22-23” levelling out the canopy at the back! Can’t wait to see how these flowers form!

(11/11-11/17) ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Week 1 Notes & Observations: Both plants are coming along pretty good. No concerns rolling into week 2, I will be starting nute supplements in the diet this week but plan to add them slowly to the regular routine. Day 18, WOW what a difference the feed made with Plant 1!? She was a good inch behind plant 2 at the start of the week and today she 'looked' bigger, so I measured, 2 days after the deep nute feed, and now she's an inch taller than plant 2.😮 VPD this week will reduce the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 75- 78F daytime and 68-70F overnight. Lights should adjusted to provide 300 max, but will try to hold the 280 setting as long as I can this week. Meaning no increase over last week other than growth. Feed & Monitor: Day 16 (last feed was day 11) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 9oz and P2 was 15lbs 15oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of purified water with 75ppm Veg Mix (recipe above and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 75ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 5.75ph to combat the higher runoff ph from the last feed. P1 weighed 21lbs even and P2 weighed 21lbs 5oz after feed. I got about 5 cups of runoff on P1 and 6 cups on P2. Top soil tested at: P1 (6.37, 6.37, 6.37, 6.32) avg 6.357 and P2 (6.55, 6.61, 6.52, 6.42) avg 6.525 - Runoff for P1 ph was 6.29 with 1530ppm and P2 was 6.29 with 1580ppm. This is the start for week 9 and got to doing some last training and ended up splitting the middle stem, that end up with her got into shock unfortunately, she don't seem to understand happy but we will see

Not much new. Really starting to flower hard. Smelling amazing. Got a new big tent and nice new light for the next grow super excited to get it all set up and not be in such a cramped space. As always 🍻

Nute mix is now 150ml A, 150ml B, 50ml PK13/14, 100ml Rhizo, 25ml CalMag and 25ml cannazyme. Nute mix information PH: 6.4 EC: 2.0 Temp: 21c They are doing far better than I would have thought but the proof's in the pudding. Not that smelly except for lights off.

It's week 9 of flower and she's been fed her last bit of nutrients. I'll start flushing with BushDoctor's SledgeHammer 2 tsp a gallon. Then just straight water until the chop :)
