Week 8 and the Tart Pops girl is looking frosty and fragrant — sweet candy terps with a tangy twist filling the tent. Buds have packed on some serious weight over the past two weeks, with dense colas coated in a thick layer of sticky trichomes. The colors are starting to show hints of purple and pink under the sunlight, giving them that “dessert shelf” look. Pistils are about 70–80% turned, and trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few clear still hanging around. Feedings are being tapered down, and the plants are cruising into their final phase before the flush begins. Estimated harvest window Day 63–70 (Week 9–10) depending on trichome maturity. A few more days to let those terps peak and resin fully ripen before the chop. The Tart Pops are almost ready to live up to her name — sweet, sticky, and seriously tempting.

the stretch has begun. in just 9 days the flowers are gonna start to form. i've been trying to give the plants more support. i placed a bunch of Bamboo through the cages to support the branches and placed a net on the smallest plant. ( the net's holes were too small, so i cut it up. only problem, since i can't reach the other plants that well i can't do the same for them. yet.) i'm working on it, i haven't had that much of time lately to work on the plants and the weather isn't helping either. most of the plants reached the height of 180 centimeters and maybe 190 before flowering. curious how big they will become when it all starts.

In the last week the water was freshly mixed with Canna Flush and an Ec of 0.4 in order to completely use up the nutrients in the last few days 👍. You can see it on the beautiful autumn yellow leaves :-). Before harvesting, the lights were turned off completely for 48 hours. After everything was neatly trimmed by hand, the buds were put into the drying tent, where they are allowed to dry for the first 8-12 days at a humidity of 62% before they ferment with 62% boveda packs in jars. After another 3-4 weeks in the glasses, the 58% boveda packs come in for the final touch :-). Of course, the final update comes from the fermented end product 👍. 12/16 - Howdy there, growers. Here we are at the start of week 11 for this lady. Day 77 from seed. She still have a little ways to go, but she is coming along quite nicely. Buds are stacked and rock hard and getting frostier by the day. I'm trying not to rush this one. I removed the Pro-TeKt from her regimen as she isn't growing anymore. I switched her feed over to ~1.0ec (500ppm) to taper her down during her last two weeks. I am also going to taper the lighting schedule down as we approach chop on her once her sister is no longer in the tent. Thanks for checking out the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!
