So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

In the end, I harvested 310g of dry plants, discarding all the popcorn. Not a bad result, even if I didn't reach my goal of 450g. I decided to leave a few leaves and let it re-vegetate. 6/9 I can't believe it but I had faith. The transplant yesterday LOOKED like it was fucked. I cleaned it up though and left it outside. This morning it was standing straight up. Both transplants were! I put tarps up to block the wind tunnel between buildings. It's still overcast and rainy. Sun isn't supposed to come out for a couple poke days. Chance of thubder storms tomorrow but I'm going to try to get everyone in their forever homes today. Or at least most of them. I plan to light dep a few right in the 3 gallon. I'm sure I'll be updating this after I get some work done. UPDATE: I WENT OVER AND GOT THREE MORE TRANSPLANTED. THAT MEANS FIVE ARE OUTSIDE IN THE CAGE. TWO 10TH PLANET, 2 BLUEBERRY CHEESE AND A LITTLE PURPLE PUNCH. THE 3 GALLON POTS WERE RELATIVELY HEAVY SO I PICKED THE LIGHTER ONES TO TRANSPLANT. I LEFT THE ORHER TWO 10TH'S IN THE GARAGE WITH THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE REMAINING PLANTS. I ALSO ADDED WIND BREAKS AND SUPPORTS TO EVERYTHING. I WANTED TO GET EVERUTHING DONE TODAY BUT THERE MAY BE A THUNDER STORM SO IF I DONT GET IT DONE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ILL FINISH TOMORROW. TRANSPLANTS WENT SMOOTH. I THINK THEY'LL GO EVEN SMOOTHER IF THEY DRY OUT A BIT. STILL HAVE THE 50 AND 40'S TO FILL. Took a bunch of videos but the don't want to load. I'll have to try tomorrow or later tonight. UPDATE: I TOOK TONS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS BUT THEY DONT WANT TO SEEM TO UPLOAD. IVE GOT SIX IN THERE FINAL HOMES OUTDOORS 20s and 30 gallon smart pots. Still have massive plants but I'm going to out those in the 50 and the 40. I'll finish this shit up tomorrow and get all the girls in their forever homes and if I don't have room for some I was planning on doing a light dep anyway so that will work out good. I learned a lot and transplanting went a lot smoother todsy than before. I feel really proud of myself. The last Transplant I did break a few leaves off that I didn't notice but whatever. I used tomato cages for suppirt on two and bamboo poles and string on the others. I'll add the vertical trellis as they grow. I'm proud of myself. 6/10 I got a lot done yesterday. Six are outside already. Two are in 20s in the garage. I'm planning on transplanting the rest today or tomorrow. I'll update later. Accidently uploaded lots of stuff on the wrong week. UPDATE: I TRANSPLANTED THAT SUPER TALL PURPLE PUNCH THAT I DIDNT TOP OR HST AT ALL INTO A 40 GALLON TUB. ROOTS WERE DRY AND THIS TIME IT ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY FELL AWAY. THE PLANT HOWEVER STAYED STANDINGVUP FINE. I THINK THIS PHENO IS GOING TO BE A TOUGH ONE. LOOKS GOOD LIKE AN HOUR LATER. I HAD THE 50 READY TO TRANSPLANT THIS MONSTER BLUEBERRY CHEESE I FIMed BUT THE POTS WERE SUPER HEAVY AND I FIGURED I NEEDED TO SLOW DOWN AND THINK. WE HAVE THUNDER STORMS COMING TONIGHT. TOMORROW IS GOOD. I MAY TRY TO FINISH UP TONIGHT BUT WE SHALL SEE. THE GOOD THING WITH DOING IT A FEW AT A TIME IS THAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS OUTSIDE IVE STILL GOT A CROP INSIDE LOL. Probably what fresh transplants like. 6/11 BEAUTIFUL outside. Today is the day. Most is done and I'll add the supports as trellis as they grow. This new grow space gets about twice as much sun as my old spot. The tar stops the burrowing insects. I'm getting everything out today. I just need to decide if I'm going to light dep that MASSIVE blueberry cheese or bite the bullet and put it in the fifty. Maybe I'll try to get some help from my cousin. Plants withstood the thunderstorm like Champs. I'll update as the day goes on. I planned better this year so I SHOULDN'T have an unmanageable jungle. UPDATE: WATERED THE 3 PLANTS LEFT IN THE 3 GALLONS (1 10th PLANET WITH GREAT BRANCH STRUCTURE AND TWO PURPLE PUNCH THAT WERE THE SMALLER ONES. IM GOING TO LIGHT DEP THEM. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW IN A MIX OF 1/3 FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST, HAPPY FROG AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707 IN EQUAL PARTS. TRANSPLANTED WITH MYKOS. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW. FINALLY DECIDED TO GET The MONSTER BLUE CHEESE I FIMed INTO ITS FOREVER HOME A 50 FALLON POT. IT WAS TGE EASIEST BEST TRANSPLANT OF THEM ALL. JUST LIKE AETTING A POT IN THE WHOLE. I DONT EVEN THINK THE PLANT NOTICED. ONE OF THE PURPLE PUNCHES HAD ROOTS OB ONE OF ITS LEAVES WHEN I LOOKED BUTVIT WAS STILL STANDING UO STEAIGHT. I KNOW SOME OF THE PLANTS LOOK DROOPY BUT WEVE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF RAIN AND A MASDIVE THUNDER STORM. I BROUGHT OUT THE EARLIER TRANSPLANTS AS WELL. THEY ARE OUT OF THE SHOCK. WIND IS PRETTY HIGH BUT I DONT WANT TO ADD MORE TARPS. I THINK THINGS ARE SECURED GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. IM SUPER STOKED THAT TRANSPLANT WENT SO GOOD! Went back at 7:30pm. Some plants have a little bit of transplant shock and a little bit of burn but it's negligible considering they've been through a thunderstorm with pouring rain and extremely high winds. That blueberry cheese in the 50 transplanted so easy and still looks like it didn't even know the difference. I'll start light dep once I get a plan. Plants are recovering nicely but should something happen to one I could replace it. I'm interested in the light dep though and I've got a pretty good idea how to start. 6/12 The plants that had a little transplant shock are coming out of it. We had a thunderstorm and pouring rain the day of some of the transplants. Wasn't forecasted. High winds moved the plants around a bunch bit they are tough as hell. Everything is out now. Suppisedcto have showers the next few days. I'm putting together a feeding schedule abd setting up a spit to start light dep on the three plants I decided to flower early. The cage now gets twice as much sun as before. This is going to be a good year. Went back over and plants are perking up and doing even better everytime I see them. I took a video but it might not upload until tomorrow. I may start a new diary for the light dep. I have a few places I'm thinking to use for light dep. I need to make a solid plan before I start so maybe a day or two. Trying to upload again but I doubt it. 6/13 Had a rushed morning but I watered the plants in the 3 gallons as they were dry. I had added more soil to a couple of the bags. The top soil is startingvtj dry out but the plants look good and we are supposed to get rain so I don't really want to water if it's going to be raining. I think I've found my light dep spot and schedule. I'll update after I do something. WENT BACK OVER AND SPRAYED A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ON THE EXTREMELY DRY TOPSOIL THAT I HAD TOPPED SOME OF THE PLANTS OFF WITH. SHITTY THING IS THAT WAS ADDED AFTER THE THUNDER STORM SO IT MAKES IT HARDER TO JUSTE THE PLANTS WATERING NEEDS. I CAN TELL THAT ONE OFCTHE FIRST TEANSPLANTS IS STILL HOLDING WATER. I MEAN WE GOT A DOWNPOUR AND I DONT WABT TO WATER IF WE'RE GOING TO BE GETTING RAIN ANYWAY. IM GOING TO LOOK BACK OVER THE DIARY. THATS ONE GREAT THING ABOUT THESE. YOU CAN GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR WORK. 6/14 Glad I held off watering. It's raining today. Just showers. We haven't gotten any of that extreme wind we usually do. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclimating to there homes. I have not started the light dep with the 3 gallons but I think I've found my spot. Once I start it will just be staying consistent putt8ng them in and out. I need to train them anyway. I have some research to do and a joint to smoke so I'll update later.

Week 8 - second week of flower One plant is much smaller - still not confident on sex of any of them ... maybe that small one is a male - I’m guessing they’re all female tho. Either way i may need to slaughter that little guy - the other plants are just overtaking the tent - might not be worth keeping that little one in there. Update 6/5/19 - I’ll take some updated pics tomorrow - I’m 95% sure I have FOUR out of four female plants. Just picked up some yucca to try - and I got some more led hangers so maybe I’ll upgrade the lights today - the rapidLED far red flower initiator isn’t coming until Wednesday unfortunately but I have two more SolStix I could add. Update 6/5/19 - far red flower initiator and the two (now 4) solstix are installed - I need to make a simple aluminum frame - maybe this weekend Picked up some 29% H202 to clean the rez tank and pumps and filter etc (not to put in the nutes for the plants tho!) Got a better air pump and airstone for the rez. New Vivosun oscillating fan - wtf!? Made for grow tents but can’t turn without stopping on the sides of the tent!? - I emailed them maybe it’s defective.

I did not expect such a strong aroma, the plant smells very strong! This week I had a small pruning of the lower leaves, now the main green mass remained at the top, began to grow in volume. Cones began to gain weight, it is already noticeable how the branches became heavy and weighty, fertilizers added 2 times a week in microdoses, the passport indicated that with a stable coverage of 20-4 will grow faster, but I still decided that the whole stage from beginning to end I will spend on 16-8, since I myself assume that this is the most comfortable hours, next week I believe will be the final flowering stage, near Xia Harvest, at the moment all trichomes are transparent and white mustache, my camera unfortunately does not allow for high quality pictures and I can not memorializing it in the photo, in general, I am guided by its past cycle, and I feel that everything will be fine.

🍌 Guava Banana Auto – Week 3 Update Week 3 and Guava Banana Auto is moving along beautifully! 🌱💚 Growth has been steady with strong branching, healthy leaf development, and a nice compact structure. The canopy is beginning to fill out, and the plant is showing excellent vigor as it heads toward the next stage of growth. -light feeding athalf strength -little defoliation done Conditions have remained stable, and the plant has responded well with lush green foliage and plenty of new growth emerging every day. So far everything is running smoothly with no major issues to report. Really excited to see how this one develops over the coming weeks. If the early growth is anything to go by, this should turn into a fantastic producer with some seriously tasty flowers. 🍌 Looking forward to the stretch and the first signs of flower soon. Until then, it’s all about keeping things dialed in and letting the genetics do their thing!

Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

Was a real experience to grow the Darkdevilauto, with these Strain we could see a lot of what a ganja plant can resist, the two ladys are amazing but the vipaspectra has a bigger, strong and clear smelling, the second Lady look also greatly under the Mars hydro pannels but in thc production we see a gigantic difference. This smoke absolutely stunned me first this was a clone sent to me from California to Virginia in the mail in the middle of winter didn't think it was gna make it but she prevailed and turned out to be so gassy and funky with a zing and it jus lays you down but puts you in a good mood too not a groggy couch lock but a good couch lock lol tastes like candy on the exhale nugs are super dense and the cure and dry came out perfect she was definitely a box

4/11 I am no longer skeptical. F1 technology is for real! Other than topping one, they’ve grown naturally. Grows so fast, has started to show signs of maturing. Harvest expected at 10 weeks after germination, on 4/22. Looking like about 1+ Oz dry per plant when done. Have selected OG Kush from RQS for next round. 😎

So, I've switched to blooming after all. So far so good, except for the fact that I broke my lab PH meter, which is quite expensive. There is also a lot of humidity. In between when the AC is not running, the humidity goes up to 80%, which is no joke at all. I will either buy a dehumidifier or turn on the air conditioner for 24 hours. I don't know what to choose yet, the dehumidifier consumes a lot of electricity, maybe I should just leave the AC on for 24 hours. Yeah, growing in hot countries is not a good idea ^_^.

Englisch: We have now reached week 2 and the ladies have tolerated the early repotting a little worse than expected. But they recovered from the shock. All 3 biscotti plants are now growing wonderfully and look great so far. With the Gelatos, 1-3 are very uniform and growing well, but 4 and 5 are lagging behind. Time will tell if all 5 will make it to flowering. The two Cookies x Key Lime Pie are unfortunately also a little slower growing than the Biscotti and Gelato 1-3, but I'm so interested in the strain that I'm keeping both plants. Now we come to Herz OG, the strain I was most looking forward to. Heart OG 1 is growing relatively OK, but is clearly lagging behind the Bisottis and Gelatos. Heart OG 2 is growing quite slowly so far. Even slower than number 1. It also shows a mutation on the first pair of leaves. Let's see how it develops... The fertilizer has also been added since the beginning of week 2. Here I use the Athena Blended Line and stick to their feed schedules and the hand watering strategy. Deutsch: Nun sind wir in Woche 2 angekommen und die Ladies haben das frühe Umtopfen doch etwas schlechter vertragen, als gedacht. Aber so langsam erholen sie sich von dem Schock. Alle 3 Biscotti Pflanzen wachsen wunderbar und sehen bisher toll aus. Bei den Gelatos sind 1-3 sehr einheitlich und wachsen gut, jedoch hängen 4 und 5 hinterher. Es wird sich zeigen, ob alle 5 es bis in die Blüte bringen werden. Die beiden Cookies x Key Lime Pie sind leider auch etwas langsamer im Wachstum, als die Biscotti und Gelato 1-3. Sie zeigt außerdem eine Mutation am ersten Blattpaar. Mal schauen wie sie sich entwickelt... Außerdem wurde seit Beginn der Woche 2 der Dünger mit eingebracht. Hier verwende ich die Athena Blended Line und halte mich dabei an deren Feed Schedules sowie die hand watering strategy.

5/11 - 5/17: I have her in full LST submission..sprawling nicely.👌 I watered her once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of grow big. I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica a few days. It rained really heavy on the night of the 15th, so I won't be watering again anytime soon. All her topped shoots are growing out now. I'll have enough soil for a few plants in 3 gallon pots, and from what everybody says, I'd be very happy with some more jars of #7. I spent all 3 seeds to grow this one plant, so I'll try rooting some clones of her soon...👈 This week I received my new portable outdoor misting fan and hoses and got it set up on a timer with just airflow while the lights are on, and once the temps reach about 95f regularly, I'll have my hose timer let 10 minutes of water every 2 hours get misted across the canopy. It should lower the "real feel" by about 25-30 degrees and increase RH considerably. Also hoping that the constant airflow will make them stronger and keep insects off of them somewhat. It will also enable me to easily give them a blow dry if it rains in late flower.
