Is it ok to chop small bud near bottom for smoke ? I’m just can’t wait for this

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I think I've missed a week off the diary, im in week 3 of flower, does it look ok? Im happy so far for a first timer, ive had her under a bulb but the suns nice here today so got her out, its not the 1st time so I trust it'll be OK and not a shock, I seem to have been lucky in this so far so hopefully it'll turn out OK in another 2 weeks or so? Any info or ideas are appreciated, cheers

Very good plant to grow 8/10 for me 💯💯🔥 very high yielding with a crazy yield of 131grams of 1 plant very tall and skinny but dense buds 🙏🏽

June 14: this Sunday Punch EV is a very fast growing plant that can handle some cool weather. The ruderalis genetics from the autoflower used to create this fast flowering (Early Version) add some toughness that make it well suited to short season areas. Likes to stretch too. 😎 it was to be a 16 cola manifold but it has grown so fast i realized I can also match another 8 colas from the next lower node. So i did that final round of topping this morning and we’ll see how it goes. Added second layer of Scrog net to stabilize it and keep the fan leaves from shading the growth tips. June 15: did the weekly foliar spray with Extreme Blend this morning. Rained last couple days which cleared the air of smoke and now it’s a nice sunny Sunday.

I messed up and didnt get many pics as me and my buddy were very very busy trimming from 10am-10pm got the 1 blue cheese plant finished!!! In 12 hours we did 1 plant thats fricken insane considering me and him did 8 of his outdoor plants in less time back in fall,more bud than i have ever seen on a plant under 3ft shit it had more bud on it than the 8 footer i grew last fall lol just so impressed with this plant i will definitely be growing many more blue cheese using FOOP nutes in the future thats for sure ,i am not touching any of this nugget until its dried and cured...gonna be hard to resist lol but it will be worth it for sure 😉

All the plants show pistils and look hralthy except the one in the middle, probably taking it out if it doesnt get better.

I am honestly blown away with how amazing all 3 plants done! I didn’t really have any deficiencies or issues with any of them the entire grow & it really shows in the quality & weight these ladies put off! All the same from my diary from Thc Bomb exempting the pest ....the pest where fine on my obi-wan until I put end-all on my Thc Bomb after its 👀 liked to move into my obi-wan so obi-wan add the same little treatment with end-all For this week fertilizers I’m gonna go 1/4 of recommend strength for hydro ...I do have sign of little over fertilizer on her but I’m not worry I always been pushing my fertilizer really high when growing indoor and never add bad results , just need to know when to give them a little slack/ brakes 😉 Need theses thing gone before next week 😡 the pleasure of growing outside

Apologies, I hadn't time to report and share my experience on the 3rd year of indoor grow. I even didn't took photos from the beginnings, shame on me! I finally decide to post the few I did to share with a friend... and I began last week to keep records. So, this is week 6. but I'm currently on week endig week 9. Almost the same setup as the previous indoor. - MyPot (a mix between hydro & areo) - small tent 60x60x160 - Lumatek ATS 200 PRO, but at 75% or 50% - Nutrients TA Tripart - 3 autos from Sweet Seeds, I changed some part of the setup, I'll explain later on. Now, I'll prefer to post the next weeks...

February 23, 2021 (Week 7, Day 50, Flower 1): It's the first day of flower! The plants slept for 12 hours last night and will keep that up until harvest. Still seeing pretty crazy growth even for the 12 hours of darkness they went through. Grew about another .5". Excited to see how much these things stretch. Soil was very dry this morning so I watered with 4l of water per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus + 1/4 tsp/gal Humboldt Nutrients Big Up Flower Powder with a pH of 5.8. Runoff pH of 6.3. I will start watering with a 6.0 solution going forward. I also top dressed with about an inch of fresh Roots Organics Lush soil. Plants are looking great. Not seeing any problems currently. I'll keep a close eye on them as they transition. Turned down humidity another 5% today. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. February 24, 2021 (Week 7, Day 51, Flower 2): Plants look great. Soil still moist from watering. Tilled half inch of topsoil. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 25, 2021 (Week 7, Day 52, Flower 3): No complaints at all. These plants are as healthy as they can be from what I can tell. The growth sites are starting to do some funky stuff and everything is kind of starting to "clump" together. Really interesting to watch this process happen, as I've always wondered exactly how the buds begin to form. I was greeted with a very sweet smell when I opened my tent this morning, nothing strong yet. To encourage further vertical growth I've removed all LST ties except for two from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I adjusted the ties on Unknown 1 because it's already starting to stretch and I need it to slow down just a bit while the others catch up. Soil is semi-moist this morning but the pots are still pretty heavy, so I'll water in a day or two. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. February 26, 2021 (Week 7, Day 53, Flower 4): Pots were light today so watered with 4l per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus at 6.0 pH. Runoff sitting at 6.4 pH. Defoliated one more node on each growth stem - the lollipop look is coming around. It will probably be my last defoliation like this. From now on I'll only pluck fan leaves that get in the way of bud sites. Unknown 1 grew over 2" in the last 24 hours. The stretch is getting real. I removed all remaining LST ties from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I redid the LST ties on Unknown 1 in an attempt to control its growth, but at this point I feel like it's just going to be a lanky plant and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll do my best to keep them as level as I can. Also, I took off Unknown 2's stem cast today and it healed really, really well. I have never seen a plant do this, but it filled itself in with tissue that is soft to the touch, and there's only a slight split at the top. It's looking really great. My wife noticed the smell of the plants this morning for the first time - so that's a good sign! Plants are starting to put off a lot of their own humidity, so I haven't refilled my humidifier in days. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. Happy Friday everyone! 👻 February 27, 2021 (Week 7, Day 54, Flower 5): Soil is still moist - tilled half inch of topsoil. Overnight it appears Gelato 1 and Unknown 2 are doing their damnedest to catch up with Unknown 1 - they both grew about 2". Plants are looking great and are definitely starting to stretch! Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. February 28, 2021 (Week 7, Day 55, Flower 6): Top soil is pretty dry, but the pots are still heavy. I'll hold off watering for a day or two. The last 24-hour period I think I saw the biggest difference in the plants so far. Each growth stem stretched a ton on each plant, but at varying degrees. The canopy is suddenly uneven, but I think trying to keep everything even at this point will be futile. I will let them go and install the SCROG net soon if the colas start growing too differently from one another. The stipules on every plant tripled in length overnight so I think the plants are definitely getting with the new 12-hour schedule. All the plants are starting to shoot off tons of pre-flowers and pistils now. They're in the swing of things now. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. March 1, 2021 (Week 7, Day 56, Flower 7): Soil is dry but pots still have some weight. Will probably water tomorrow. Plants are looking fantastic. Canopy is stretching all over the place. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. Looking forward to next week! Hopefully we'll start to see some flowers poking through soon!

By the third week of flower we are getting excited because we see the buds really bulk up. It is early on and we are seeing these top nodes take shape into colas. Here is the work put in this week: -Prepare each plant with 1 gallon of lukewarm water with 3 tsp Big Bloom, 2 tsp of Grow Big and 2 tsp of Tiger bloom. Oh and 5 mLs of Cal Mg. -pH the water to 6.5 and pour. -Shop Vac runoff. -Before tent lights turn on at 7AM, spray all 3 plants from top to underneath to the bottom to top of soil with GrowSafe. If you don't know what it is, look it up. Here is the solution concentration: 3.75 mL GrowSafe in 1 cup of H20. This is a preventative measure ;-) Then after that it is cleaning up the lower growth on the stems. Some people call it Lollipoping. I'm leaving virtually all fan leaves above 1/3-1/2 of the way up the plant. I tightened up the plant arrangement as well by placing them in a triangle shape. I believe this will help the two plants that were living at either end of the lights (where the light might not have been ideal) closer to the center. Now each plant has an even amount of light exposer. I also adjusted some branches with foam garden wire in such a way that evens out the height and width of canopy. The sour diesel buds grew the quickest at first. The do si dos buds are stacked under a lot of leaf growth. And the gelato buds, which started out as the smallest and slowest growing, sped up by the end of the week, almost catching up to the size of do si dos's buds. Thanks for reading my post :-) -

Es wurde Zeit, das Wetter wurde ungemütlich, kalt und regnerisch. Die anderen Pflanzen hatten bereits Schimmel entwickelt und es war auch kein weiteres Blütenwachstum festzustellen. die Trichome sahen auch leicht angebräunt aus, Deshalb wurde geerntet und verarbeitet. Die Ernte der zweiten späten Pflanze war wesentlich geringer aber noch passabel.

Week was good still no signs of pistils though but I’m all for getting them bigger and maximizing yield I have a few other plants in this tent atm pay them no mind I been really pushing the ppms I want to say it’s at 1950 rn using an ph perfect no worries about nothing sometimes they get a little nute burn but the plants quickly adapt and thrive fastbuds genetics are definitely on top of my recommended seed banks every seed sprouted and they can take alot of stress even bein autos where ppl say don’t do this or that I always test the genetics to see what they can and can’t take @ Molly from fastbuds sorry for the wait but I have nothing but praises for your team and your genetics happy growing all!!!

This week I took a few clones while I still could, didn’t want them too far into flowering. Normal week of (vigorous) growing in our Scrog canopy. Very surprised how quick she grew her leaves back after the defoliate. The clone rooted quite quickly and has shown amazing vigor. It was reintroduced and will begin flowering immediately. It will still get 10 days of Veg while the plant figures out that it’s Fall time in here. (before it truly starts flowering)

Questa settimana si è slanciata veramente molto! Me lo aspettavo già in quanto non è la prima volta che la coltivo, ecco perché ho deciso precedentemente di effettuare 3 topping consecutivi! Ha reagito veramente molto bene ha continuato la sua vegetazione normalmente senza blocchi e durante la 4 settimana si prepara per il fiore! Adoro le genetiche di Fast buds! Ancor di più la FORBIDDEN RUNTZ AUTO! Per questo ciclo di crescita ho voluto fare un cambio radicale nella sua dieta, ho cambiato marca di fertilizzanti passando da plagron (con il quale collaboravo a CANNABOOM!) semplicemente perché ho potuto constatare i loro pregiatissimi prodotti! Dopo un accurato studio si ogni componente ho voluto fare questo cambio....che dire!!! Menomale!!! Raga veramente dopo la seconda applicazione la pianta e praticamente esplosa in ogni suo potenziale ,parli veramente di ogni cosa! Altezza, Internodi , calici sparsi ovunque, si iniziano a intravedere intricominsulle foglie a ventaglio!!!! Le foglie sono grandi quanto la mia mano😂 ho fatto un po' di pulizia fogliare e per adesso la lascerò crescere così togliendo solo qualche foglia qua e la ogni tanto quando ci sarà bisogno... ringrazio molto cannaboom per i loro prodotti che volevo consigliare a tutti voi e vorrei ringraziare anche fast buds per questa genetiche che non finisce mai di sorprendermi! E poi....ci siete tutti voi! Grazie mille ad ognuno di voi! 🌈💥💪🏼🌱
