Gude, wir schreiben BT17 und der Stretch ist in vollem gange und die Blütenbildung beginnt schon. Ich sehe aber kein wirkliches Höhenwachstum mehr, ich denke das war es soweit. Die 3 bekommen alle 2 Tage je 3.5L calmag korrigiertes Leitungswasser (105mg cal/ 50mg Mg). Licht knallt in den Spitzen mit knapp 800PPFD drauf und ganz unten sind es ca 600PPFD. Die Seitenbeleuchtung läuft auf der maximalen Stufe, was insgesamt nochmal 40W extra sind. Am Sonntag ist BT21, da wird entlaubt. Denke dadurch kommt das Licht von der Seite super an die unteren Buds und es wird richtig ordentlich. Grüße

Another 8 days have gone by and they still love it. Done some more defoliating and treated with nematodes due to fungusgnat population got to big. Should be a smooth ride from here on.

Hey folks. Into week 17, ran into some issues with plant #1 with total failure due to a windstorm and my laziness for not putting supports up sooner! Lesson learnt. Added bamboo stakes and supported most of the big heavy colas. Rain has been an issue so I slapped the ladies under the tent and a week ago sprayed some neem oil as preventive maint for powdery mildew. Iv cut watering in half due to the high humi levels and rain we been getting. Chop day is around thr corner! Hope you guys enjoy the content

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Took some photos for the Christmast contest! I changed my nickname, I've started on GrowDiaries just to post one question, but it hooked me. Now I need a better brand: Big Beautiful Weed. Just perfect. It's Bud Porn time! New phone, as you can notice, with better camera and allows to use the microscope. So much better! I took a million pictures. Startedtoday, flush at day 60. Probably I should have start to flush the Gelato a bit earlier, is already showing some amber. [UPDATE: No! And is been a mistake realized in week 10, I started flushing too early, still two weeks to go at best from this week 9] Maybe less then a week before I chop her. It will be couchlock, if I have to guess, and is what I was looking for. Overall, and besides the photoperiodic Gelato I had to kill, I'm veeery happy of how is turning out. I have been super excited with everything up to this point . I have made all my preparations that I think need to be made and did some trial runs on my environment. I starting preparing around the 15th of January and my set up was complete around the 19th of February. I spaced my purchases out based on budget constraints. I wanted a cheap and efficient grow area. Some thing I paid more for because through all the research I did I felt quality was more important. If you are as excited as I was, you get pretty anxious when awaiting order status when you first order your seeds. You should remember you are ordering from an online seed bank not amazon. Most work Monday - Friday and are in a complete different time zone. I ordered my seeds from seed supreme Seedbank. I placed my order on 31 January and mailed money as directed. This was the scariest part for me especially when I didn’t hear anything back. I finally received a email on the 12th if February saying my invoice was paid and then subsequently mailed out on the 15th and I received on the 20th. Day 2 - 2/24/19: Nothing new to report no activity on the surface, misted watering at 5.8 PH. Day 3 - 2/25/19: Plant number 1 which had the longest tap root broke the surface I started a time lapse on it to cover the first moments of birth 😭 daddy is already so proud lmao. I have another light watering today with my humidity domes on, the intent is to have the plants roots work to get the required water and hopefully promote root growth. I also added 1ml of Rapid start and diluted into 1 gal. Day 4 - 2/26/19: Checked the status this morning prior to work and two more have reached the surface only two more remaining which I suspect will reach by the time I make it home from work. Misted this morning pot was looking pretty dry with the exception of the humidity domes, which I removed on all the sprouted seedling. I intend on shifting to a 20 on 4 off cycle and starting my other fans. Day 5 - 2/27/19: All five plants have broke the surface. I did a normal watering this am still utilizing the dome to avoid watering on top of the plants. I lowered the light again some of the early sprouters we stretching a little more than I wanted and appeared leggy to me. Day 6 - 2/28/19: Nothing really to report today. Excited for the name reveal tomorrow. I did a light watering. I played around with my ppm meter and ec I definitely plan on using in conjunction with my first feeding this weekend. Day 7 - 3/1/19: Was watering this morning normal levels. I also mixed a new feed to be ready for them tomorrow. While I was watering # 5 fell over I accidentally tipped it with the spout. I grabbed some left over soul to help prop it up hopefully she is ok.

- Day 36 First week of flowering now, the first small white pistils on the flowering sites have appeared! Did a full water renewal with 5.8 pH. Trying to get some direct light to those lower flowering nodes by tucking leaves as much as possible but had to cut some off as well. Day 37 Just quickly checked water today, she's drinking well and pH went up to 6.2, gonna wait till tomorrow to see if I need to bring it back down. Day 38 After messing around with the light intensity and distance of the light I finally got her praying 🙏 When I checked the pH I noticed it went down to 5.8 from yesterdays 6.2, which is..odd?? Or is it because she is consuming all the nutrients in the water... gonna have to do some research on this. I added a liter of water to top up the reservoir again and set the pH to 6.0. Day 40 She drank up almost the whole bucket after 2 days 😅. I just did a full water renewal with new nutrients, pH'd at 6.0 and a more bloom focused feed. Flowers are starting to set in nicely now and still have quite a bit of stretching happening. Day 41 She is still drinking a lot. pH went up to 6.3, so decided to pH it back to 5.9, also added about 800ml's of water to the off the reservoir. Removed some fan leaves on the fastest growing branches to slow them down a bit and let the smaller branches catch up. Day 42 Seems like she is drinking even more now, also saw a bitch stretch happen since yesterday. Had to top up the bucket with about 1.4 liters of water, which I pH'd to 6. Also removed some of the lower fan leaves and flowering sites that were just not getting any light.

4202024 or backwards, it’s 4202024. I’m sure there will be other palindromic dates in future, but this is the one and only stoner palindrome date that can happen in our lifetimes. Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and I’m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we won’t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. I’ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, I’m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy.
