As with the other plants, it was high time to harvest the main cola. The rainy season in Germany begins next week, the temperatures no longer rise above 20 degrees and there is a lot of rain. So it's high time to harvest! Exactly 67 days after sowing we harvest all the upper buds, only the lower popcorn buds stay on for a few more days. It is a little more airy than the Ztrawberriez from the first grow but still beautiful Thanks to fastbuds!

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return! OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Week 5 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs These have completely blown up, doubling in size, ripped up the metal hooks i had them in like it was nothing, they're liking the extra light, pushing out leaves and loads of flowering colas . i did take off one leaf that was throwing shade, but apart from that only LST every now and then to keep it under control and hopefully get a bigger yield. Mixed my beneficials with my micro, that's 14gs of powder for 900ppm , but i'm not worried because this is not "dangerous ppm" only some micro. They're starting to slurp it up : one extra watering a week that 3x 3 pints ! used some co2 enriched water only twice, i didnt dare put it in with the beneficials even though i know co2 as a soluble gas will not penetrate the cell walls of any of the organisms (that means it's safe!). I'll get some full frontal pics of the ladies next week, so get your lube out ! spraying twice with the micro and the kelp this week, not really following up on the co2 sprays because i eyeballed the first spray and now there's actually a bunch of residue all over the leaves, so gonna try and figure that out ! suggestions welcome ! 🚀

I just dont want to waste it. Plants are noticeably more vigorous. I am wondering if now is a good time for my defoliation. i was planning for Week 5. I feel like the buds are to developed for me to be pruning off lower buds and makes me feel like i should have pruned beginning of week4 __________

Week 1 Today, I started 2 Gorilla Cookies Auto from Fastbuds. 🍪 I'll start by giving 18 hours of light and controlling the ph 6.5 without nutrients Let's see if they want to grow or not.

Den Pflanzen ging es soweit gut. Hatte bemerkt das der wachstum langsam voranging. Ich konntrolierte den EC im Drain. Der war viel zu hoch für die jetzige Vegi Zeit. Das Substrat wurde dann durchgespült und auf den gewünschten PH&EC Wert gebracht. Es wurde noch Substrat leicht nachgefüllt und leicht gedüngt. Durch das Spülen, hingen die Blätter etwas runter. Die Pflanze hat sich mittlerweile erholt. Substrat ist eindeutig noch zu feucht um neu zu Düngen.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Week 13 : This wraps up the last week of flush for the biotabs, they got 2.5 ml/L of humic acid each feed 3x 4 pints this week. These have a real funky smell to them, cant really put my finger on it, kinda plant musty, really strong smell, maybe skunky or something, main thing is they're getting the chop soon ! Clipped a fair few leaves but the idea is a dry trim and hanging the plants whole for 10-12 days of slow drying before the cure. Man i cant wait to wrap this grow up ! These kinda grew crowded, i can tell because the biotabs and mrB's have a few branches that are anemic, small, useless, so they're all gonna go into the bubble hash, let's see if i can extract anything from these beauties ! wish me luck 🚀

DAY 71 F: Well a day overdue for the update but I have been a busy fellow in the real world. The Girls scout cookies have dried enough to be considered for jarring. They have finished so perfectly and so damn tacky too. They smell of sweet candy after a lollipop lick. So nice. I have been taking samples the past week of so and drying them . temptation won.lol Idont expect a huge yield from their size but the quality is bang on the money. The Amnesia haze ladies are so so close now . They are rock somid still and have really packed the trichs on , a little swelling has been noticable but not the second flush of pistils I was hoping for. #1 and 2 are going to be left until day 77 at least , so another week but the #3 lady has got to go into the dark period now I think. She was the girl I confused as a gsc too so had her dragon force very early in that respect. Seeing how faded out she has got during the last week has helped drive the decision to get her out now. She will be in the dark for 48 hours then trimmed for drying. They will all be fed just water now to use up the remaining nutes in the pots to the end. The critical cheese is in mid flush of her newest pistils and thankfully is swelling nicely due to that fact. She has a really fuel/ nail polish heavy aroma at present but I can smell the sweet tang too. She looks like her yield could be a good one for what looked like a gangly specimen for the past 12 weeks. Lol . One of criticals finest qualities I think. All in all a good week for the ladies if not a calm one. Let's see what next week brings. Be safe and well growmies.
