The end of this week marks the beginning of the root flush, the last stage before harvesting, as it’s the final week in which nutrients are applied. The plants have shown remarkable development: the buds have become massive, and the main colas are nearly the size of my hand. I’ve followed the BioBizz feeding schedule precisely, and I highly recommend this brand for its organic formulation and balanced nutrient profile. Throughout the grow, I’ve maintained an EC level of approximately 1.8 mS/cm and a pH range between 6.3 and 6.4, which has ensured optimal nutrient uptake with no visible deficiencies or toxicities. The trichomes are now roughly 50% milky and 50% clear, a clear sign that the harvest window is approaching. Although Sweet Seeds specifies an 8-week flowering period for this strain, my plants appear to need around two additional weeks, bringing the total to about 10 weeks of flowering. I prefer to avoid rushing the process, allowing the plants to reach full maturity and to develop their terpene profile and potency to the fullest before harvesting and starting the drying phase. The only minor disappointment is the lack of the expected reddish hues on the colas—according to the strain description, there was a 60% chance of red coloration, but none of the three plants have displayed it so far. Perhaps some tinting might appear during the final week, though it seems unlikely. We’re now officially in week 9 of flowering, and I’ve begun the flush to remove excess salts from the substrate, ensuring a cleaner, smoother taste in the final product.

Let me tell you something. WHAT A FUCKING DUMBASS IDEA. 😂😂😂 Because this girl apparently received the memo... and decided to completely ignore the size of the pot. 👑🌿🔥 Look at her. Seriously. LOOK AT HER. She's growing. She's bulking. She's stacking. She's building a main cola that makes me question my original life choices. And then she's doing the same thing with the side branches. And the side branches have side branches. And those branches have flowers. And suddenly I'm standing there looking at this beautiful monster thinking: "Why the hell did I put you in such a small pot?" 😂😂😂 But... it is what it is. And that's actually part of the adventure. We learn. We evolve. We adapt. We document our decisions. Sometimes we make brilliant decisions. Realized when I setup the soil that I forgot to give it a good soak and allow to sit for 24 hours. It's just straight out of the bag and I feel like I'm not watering them enough.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. 26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. GDP got a repot tonight, so in the pics it's a bit saggy because of the shock. Otherwise, the plant is doing well. It already has a smell to it. Nothing else to report really.

This week went great. The ladies are still looking happy and healthy. Bud sites everywhere. One plant is monster cropped and looks insane. As far as I can tell they are done stretching out now. Took off some leaves covering bud sites and some of the bottom limbs not getting much light. Happy Growing y’all 🔥💨💚✌️🏼

La semaine 5 s'est déroulée plutôt bien, même si on a eu un petit excès d'azote. J'ai décidé de stopper complètement l'apport d'azote et de passer à une alimentation exclusivement dédiée à la floraison pour le moment. Mes plantes ont fini leur phase d'étirement et se concentrent désormais sur la formation des fleurs. En douceur, je commence à retirer une à deux feuilles par jour. Un grand merci à louloutre pour son précieux coup de main ! 🌱

This week, my cannabis plant is showing some signs of thirst. Unfortunately, I had to cut back on watering due to a small infestation of fungus gnats. To combat the problem, I decided to apply nematodes. Hopefully, they will take care of the larvae in the soil. Despite the reduced watering, the plant still looks strong and healthy overall. The buds are continuing to develop nicely.🌱🌱 I'm really curious to see how things progress in the coming weeks, especially now that the pest issue is being addressed.💚 Be excited for the coming weeks 💚🌱🌱

I had to take a big decision. I know it is not good it is way too hot in the tent but needed to remove from my garden because of some reasons. Firstly, illegal which is fine but I do not want to take a risk for 3 g of harvest. She should start flowering in autumn when less sun and weather is basically shitty here in London it is okay to grow but when starts flowering.... so I planted an auto and saw that it wont yiled good so I was thinking what will happend to my Zkittlez in autumn when mush less sun and weather is going down. So realised I can have a 2-3 m plant but it ain't gonna flower just a bit. Soni decided to put under artificial light but it is summer my plants are suffering in the tent. Inhave no choice I will try to manage maximum I will cut back. Hopefully all goes ok. Day 86: Fucked up she was totally wilt I removed all the leaves basically the stalk left only..... she will be okay

Well very good looking too very happy and healthy so far so good i think one more week and goes to flower lets see 🏝️

Fungus gnats coming with the soil might take the chance to come out now for breeding. i'm waiting with a 9 mm rifle. in the past i found 6 gnats in 2 of 8 x 50 l biobizz lightmix bags coming out of the soil. i could eliminate every single gnat successfully ;) rotating harvest: the little ones will be harvested completely when ready. at this point only the top branches of the big ones will be cut...and the new (basic-watered) pots of the new grow will move into the tent. 2-3 weeks later the secod half of the big ones will be cut and the second half of the new grow will move in... nutes: biobizz / soil: biobizz lightmix bloom,grow,topmax,activera,algamic + aminopower instead of bio heaven (too expensive) individual feeding schedule/once a week: veg: 200 - 600 ppm bloom: 600 - 900 ppm water: ro-water with: veg: 100-150 ppm calmag bloom: 150 ppm calmag
