My Lit Marker plant is still on the smaller side, but it's definitely growing strong. The branches are thickening up nicely, and the leaves look just like the Permanent Marker plant from Lit Farms. Makes sense, since this plant is half that strain! I'm excited to see how it develops. Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

💜 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno A Week 5 | The Classic Haze Begins to Stretch Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Every phenotype in this project has been raised under exactly the same conditions, yet every week they continue reminding me just how unique genetics truly are. Today’s spotlight belongs to Purple Haze – Pheno A, one of the tallest and most vigorous ladies in the room. She’s entering her first week of flowering, and while the stretch has only just begun, she’s already showing all the elegance and energy that make Haze genetics so iconic. ⸻ 🌱 The Journey So Far For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome! This entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Rather than allowing a traditional vegetative period, every seed was placed directly under a 12-hour light / 12-hour dark schedule from germination. The goal is simple: To let every phenotype express its natural growth habit while comparing different genetics under identical conditions. Every plant shares: • The same environment • The same lighting • The same nutrients • The same climate • The same daily care The only real variable is genetics. Watching each plant respond differently despite receiving the exact same treatment is one of the most fascinating parts of this entire adventure. Purple Haze Pheno A is proving that beautifully. ⸻ 🌿 A Lady That Loves to Reach Standing at approximately 73 cm, she’s already among the tallest plants in the room. From the very beginning she showed a strong desire to grow vertically, but she’s doing so with remarkable balance. Long internodes. Healthy side branching. Excellent apical growth. Instead of producing a dense, squat structure, she’s developing the graceful architecture so often associated with classic Haze genetics. She has presence. She naturally draws your attention the moment you open the tent. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf Tucking Instead of Heavy Defoliation One of the techniques used throughout this week has been leaf tucking. Rather than removing healthy fan leaves, I’ve simply repositioned them beneath developing branches to expose lower growth sites to more light. It’s a gentle approach that allows the plant to keep all of her valuable solar panels while improving airflow and encouraging a more even canopy. Looking at her structure now, it’s already paying off. Multiple flowering sites are receiving direct light, and the entire plant has opened up beautifully without unnecessary stress. Sometimes the simplest techniques are the most effective. ⸻ 🌸 The First Signs of Flower Although we’re only considering this Week 1 of Flower, there’s no doubt she’s making the transition. Fresh pistils are appearing across the canopy. The tops are beginning to stack. New growth has taken on that unmistakable flowering appearance, with each growing tip preparing to become its own future cola. The real stretch is only beginning, and knowing Purple Haze genetics, she’s probably not finished reaching for the lights just yet. ⸻ 💧 Feeding for the Transition As flowering begins, nutrition has shifted to support the plant through this important stage while maintaining healthy, vigorous growth. Current feeding includes: • Terra Grow • Terra Bloom • Power Buds • pH adjustment for optimal nutrient uptake Rather than making sudden changes, the transition into bloom is gradual, allowing the plant to adapt smoothly while continuing to build both roots and flowers. So far, she’s responding exactly as hoped. ⸻ 🌡️ Stable Environment, Strong Growth Like every plant in this project, Purple Haze benefits from carefully maintained environmental conditions. Current grow room conditions include: • Day temperature: 31.1°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 72% • Solution temperature: 21.6°C • Root zone temperature: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Maintaining consistent environmental parameters ensures every phenotype is evaluated fairly, allowing the genetics themselves to tell the story. ⸻ 📷 This Week’s Gallery This week’s photographs capture a plant that seems to gain confidence every single day. The studio portraits highlight her graceful structure, while the close-up shots reveal healthy new flowering sites emerging across the canopy. Several images focus on the leaf tucking performed throughout the week, showing how opening the canopy has allowed light to penetrate deeper into the plant. The overhead views reveal excellent symmetry, and the room updates continue documenting the environment these ladies are growing in. It’s always rewarding to compare these images week after week and watch the transformation unfold. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead The coming weeks should be incredibly exciting for this phenotype. I expect the stretch to continue for a little while longer before she begins putting all of her energy into flower production. As the canopy fills in and the bud sites begin stacking, it’ll be fascinating to see whether she develops the long, elegant colas often associated with Purple Haze genetics. She’s already one of the standout plants in the room for her structure alone. Now the flowers get their chance to tell the rest of the story. ⸻ 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Every week these diaries become a little more exciting, and sharing every success, lesson, and surprise with this incredible community makes the experience even more rewarding. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing a place where growers from all over the world can learn from one another and celebrate the journey together. Zamnesia for the outstanding genetics that make this phenotype hunt possible. 🌱 Plagron for providing the nutrition supporting these plants from seed to harvest. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the light powering this entire grow. 🌿 TrolMaster for maintaining a stable environment and helping every phenotype perform at its very best. And finally, thank you to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, asking questions, and sharing this journey with me. Every phenotype deserves its own spotlight, and Purple Haze Pheno A is already proving she’s more than worthy of hers. Growers Love and the adventure has only just begun. 💜🌿

Added some CO2 to help with photosynthesis while at higher temps. These ladies really blew up at the end of last week and this week! The smell has really starting to be noticeable and pistols / flowers are finally showing! Side note I finally got more seeds to replace the one I lost early on. These ladies are really starting to become a treasure. Ended my LST this week.

W13 - ESTHER 🌱is growing tall. Ahm... Started again thinking about toping ✂️ her 🤔 Still can't spot any signs of flowering 🌻 in her 😥🤦‍♂️ I carried on with defoliation of unnecessary leaves.

We enter the second full week of flower. I went and got some nutes to start adding in sparingly to the watering sessions. Mild mix from Foxfarms of their Tiger Bloom formula. I didn't catch that the large plant's leaves were curling pretty tellingly so I didn't realize I was about to overload the nutes for that plant when I should have been flushing for a week. I had supercropped this large plant as it was 6" taller than the others but it bounced back so quickly. Five colas snapped and turned 90 degrees, bounced back in a day or two. It did allow the others to catch up a bit. I find that the one potential male I removed was 100 a male as it now had well developed pollen sacs. I had this plant outside alonside the other two potential herm/males. I put the two questionable ones on the roof and chopped the male down.

Day64/Flower16 03.03 Optimized my setup. I can handle humidity better now. Just in time. Puuh. I also changed back to hesi nutrients. Plants are really thirsty now. Watering every 2 days. Actually using about 12 liters. About 3 liters per plant every second day. Plants are really looking nice. Super excited. Plants are super easy to train, amazing flexibility. You can almost do knots with the branches. :) Growers life is an adventurous life...yeah... Day67/FL19 06.03 Everything looks fine. Planning to water them everyday as long as i'm not busy. Trying to figure out the exact amount of hesi nutrients..

Trying to get 70% RH but they are so small and don´t transpire so much, plus the indoor is quite large for this babies and I don´t have a humidifier. Just have to spray them a bit all the time to make them feel humid enough. RH is actually 60% but that´s OK, it will increase eventually when this babies grow. Today May 16 I got a little humidifier and that mantains humidity around 60% without spraying water. I still spray a little water during the day to make them feel more comfy. I also decided to switch some light bulbs off because it was too much light for this babies. Just let 3 white bulbs and the 2 full spectrum bulbs on, 60 cm above the babies. That was it for the first week of this 3 gums. Gum 3 has already a name if you noticed, I'll be thinking of the names for the other girls.

*****DIVINE SEEDS ***** *****FRACTAL***** SPONSORED GROW Week 5 This week 5/5-5/11 Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal This was an exciting week for my ladies. It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. Divine Seeds recommends keeping its Fractal profile wider and flatter. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Today she has a beautiful, mounded canopy showing multiple bud sites. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. They remain even and balanced. Thank you @DivineSeeds Thanks for the visits, likes and comment, I appreciate all the plant love💚. Have fun & love what you grow 💚 Sending you good vibes of love, light and healing 💫 💫Natrona 💫 ***FRACTAL*** Rating: Fractal is an especially psychedelic strain that Divine Seeds developed for esoteric and mystical experiences, meditation and creativity. A potent and vivid landrace variety from Southern India was crossed with a sticky leaning Indica (mostly Afghani), then Skunk #1 joined this company. Their progeny underwent multiple selection experiments, until its massive built, resin concentration and hypnotizing powers reached an ultimate level. The result is now known as Fractal – resinous, spicy and productive. Best choice for commercial growing: a compromise between bigger yields and fast ripening! A great source of hashish that has something incense-like to its musky smell. Indoors expect 170 сm height, out of doors plants grow up to 200 сm. Fractal fits for all types of growing environment: grow boxes, hydroponic or aeroponic setups, outdoor plantations, balconies, terraces and green houses. For more weight it is recommended to train Fractal plants to broaden their structure and limit their vertical growth. For that purpose use ScroG or SoG, LST, FIM or topping, supercropping or mainlining – there are no limitations for the strain itself, but certainly low-stress methods are recommended to smaller samples. Fractal has an inherent immunity to molds and insect pests, but since its colas are thick, protect your plants from stale air. Also during rainy weeks your plantation may need to be covered. Ready for outdoor harvesting in October. Big and dense buds the color of olive, hunter green heavily coated with crystals. Whole Fractal buds smell hashy and earthy, while cedar and fruity hints are noticeable on breaking. Measure your portion carefully: the potency is above average! With Fractal you experience an overall stoning that either keeps you put or slows your motion down, also vertigo is possible. However, in moderate dosage the impact is described as a pleasant sensation of well-being and placidity. Perfect for spending a night by a bonfire without talking, therefore is more often enjoyed as a solo smoke. Efficiently relieves muscle spasms and seizures, inflammations, combats insomnia and increases your appetite. Up to 3 hours of altered state of mind can be expected. Best consumed at night time. Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, girls are doing nicely. PK1 is still larger than PK2 but PK2 is getting larger also. Buds are starting to bulk and some nice colas starting to form. I am very pleased with how they are doing. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

🌸 Week 6 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books and the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore now 👀🔥 Stretch has been very different across the plants and some phenos are clearly showing completely different growth patterns despite running under the same conditions. It’s getting easier every week to identify which phenos stay compact and bushy and which ones want to reach for the sky. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #3 and #4 have stretched aggressively and are now above 70 cm Pheno #5 took the lead and is currently sitting at around 101 cm 👀🔥 Pheno #1 and #6 are still in early flower / preflower and developing noticeably slower Plant architecture is becoming very clear now — some phenos are growing dense and bushy while others are showing strong vertical growth At this stage I already have clear favorites: ⭐ Pheno #4 and #5 are currently standing out the most for me in terms of structure, vigor, and overall development. But the real decision will come once the flowers fully build up. 🍃 Maintenance & development: Canopy management continues and I’m still removing leaves only where necessary to improve light penetration and keep flower sites exposed. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity sitting around 67–70% VPD target remains unchanged and is being monitored continuously Light intensity continues to increase gradually as flowering progresses The next weeks should become really exciting — structure is one thing, but now the buds will decide who becomes the real winner of this pheno hunt 🌸🔥 💬 Which pheno would you bet on at this point?
