🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻ Two Systems, One Tent (Why Autopots + Hand Watering) We currently have two feeding approaches in the same tent: 🔹 Autopots (6 plants) • Mineral-only feeding • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 Organics and autopots generally don’t play well together. Organics are alive, they change over time, they ferment, pH drifts, and control becomes very difficult when solution sits for long periods. It’s not just about smell — it’s about stability. 🔹 Hand-Watered Plants (including the Skywalker OGs) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 With organics, hand watering gives: • Better control • Individual feeding per plant • The ability to respond to how each plant drinks and eats And honestly? I love this approach. Each plant gets treated as an individual, not a number. ⸻ 🌿 Overall Plant Health • Deep, lush green • Strong structure • Bushy growth everywhere • No signs of stress This run honestly feels too good to be true sometimes — but it’s real, and it’s exciting. ⸻ 🔍 Growth Stage & What to Expect Next Even though this is Week 5 from seed, the plants are still finishing what I’d call their last week of veg. By the end of this week, we’re starting to see: • Clear pre-flower signs • Early transition into flowering behavior This is a very important phase. The plant is deciding how it wants to flower — structure, spacing, and energy distribution are all being set right now. What to expect next week: • More visible pre-flower development • Stretch continuation • Increased response to under-canopy lighting What not to expect: • Heavy defoliation • Aggressive intervention • Rushed decisions We’ll continue to observe gently and respond calmly. ⸻ 🙏 Final Thanks Thank you again to: • Everyone following along • The OGs and the newcomers • The sponsors and the platform • And especially the genetics that make moments like this possible This is a joy to document, and an honor to share. More soon, especially on that triple-branching beauty 🌱 As always, feel free to share thoughts, observations, or just enjoy the ride with us. 👽 New team member Meet Mr. Baggy Our new fluffy alien/beaver/whatever-he-is friend, won through a Grow Diaries contest. Expect to see him around — he’s officially part of the grow now. Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions 🌍 External Environment (Context) • Outside temperature: ~5 °C • Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity) • Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability ⸻ 🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions • Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C (noted drop due to cold external temps) • Tent RH: ~58% → Very good considering outside conditions ⸻ 💨 Airflow & Circulation • Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return • Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation • Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers • Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy ⸻ 💧 Water Source & Rationale • Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater • Base EC: force • Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Remo Chemo is a dense and sturdy Indica-dominant plant that must be evenly pruned, low branches included. At the end of the flowering, her dark-green leaves tend to acquire purplish hues which are sometimes so dark as to seem almost black. A real sight to behold. Without her being particularly productive, Remo Chemo’s crops are really potent, which balances the final outcome. Her buds are round, uniform and compact, noted for their remarkable density and amazing resin count. On top of that, the THC levels are high, exceeding 20 %. Remo Chemo has very strong and intense overtones of Kush. The taste takes long to disappear and is reminiscent of the classic Californian flavours. Earthy, fuelly and peppery hints are found in it. Her taste and aroma are simply delicious, almost instantly captivating those who smell her. Remo Chemo delivers a potent effect that, thanks to her high THC levels, helps alleviate the side effects of cancer treatments (vomiting and nausea), boosts the appetite and reduces pain. But Remo Chemo can be used for recreational purposes as well, with a really intense physical high. No doubt her effect being so amazingly psychoactive will delight THC-lovers.

I made some mistakes early on but despite all of that she still grew and produced some nice flowers. Would love to run this one again because she would have been a monster had everything gone a little smoother.

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! Dont drink and drive, your life and anyone else involved in an accident is too important! C' YA! 1/4/24 - Day 58 - I have been thinking of trimming her for a while.... I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Good morning growmies! I am finally back online after moving house and being without internet for weeks. These ladies took a battering and bruising in transit, and were left in the dark for 4 days, starved of water and food for 9 days TWICE inside 3 weeks. Still, can you believe the progress despite all that? Wowza, when RQS say these Epsilon F1s are fast they are NOT JOKING, and OH MY the smell is soooooooooooooooooo good. It's really a complex sweet and fruity scent with delicate notes of spice and sandalwood. I am super curious now. All five plants are within a couple of inches of each other, the tallest being 72cm currently (Dinah!). I am so very impressed with these plants that I am considering running a full tent of Epsilon F1s for my next grow! I wonder if I can get a bulk discount?! 😬😁 Day 54: Fertigated 10l Day 56: They are not slowing down. Ally, Normani, Lauren, and Dinah are all similar size, Camila is a bit smaller but in terms of development they are all very very close to each other. I am really impressed by the uniformity here, more impressed by the speed, and most impressed by the scent. They are not strong smelling, but if you get close or have a squeeze it wafts over you like an exquisite perfume. It is the most complex cannabis scent I have experienced yet. Really really interesting, I am really excited for the eventual smoke review so that I can properly understand the complexity at play here. The breeder and sponsor of this grow Royal Queen Seeds have offered to sponsor a full tent of this strain, if that works out then I will be doing another grow series right after this one. Fingers crossed!

Bushy little mama. Removed the tobacco plants as they were taking over the tent. She is on her lonesome now so she can make full use of the space available. Looking like she needs some defoliation pretty soon. 3/10 Gave her a radical defoliation. Took away about 85% of all the larger fan leaves and some lower canopy growth. I want all the plants energy to go into flowering and developing large kolas. Don't expect the auto clone to get much bigger, so won't be potting up, but she may produce a decent kola.

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!

Sloooooow going. My temps are fine if not ideal, humidity is steadily above 40%. Yet these plants still look weeks behind. If you are reading this and my parameters and see any glaring mistakes please feel free to drop a comment. I am definitely new to organic growing andI just don't know what to do. I started PHing organically this week. I ordered a water conditioner from Microbe life. It's not here yet, but soon. And if my video uploaded you'll see a product from Microbe Lift that will hopefully kill any fungus gnat larvae in the soil. Beyond that adding Armor Si back into my nutrient schedule is the only other thing I can think to snap these plants out of their funk. Good luck everybody else!

Super easy to grow no problems and pretty much left her to do her own thing did take the full 9 weeks to finsh but was worth the wait as I think it's the biggest yield I've ever had
