I'm not sure if it's genetics, grow environment, nutrients, or all the love and attention I have gave them but the ladies have become MONSTERS! I wouldn't believe you if you told me they were autos. I had to go and buy a huge tent just to house them. They are in full on flower and smell fantastic and aside from the nute burn I got early on they look healthy. Went ahead and added a new 2000W LED cob just to make sure these huge ladies got the proper penetration for their size. Interested in seeing how much adding to the light spectrums will help them continue to fill out. I will be working out of town this week hoping my girlfriend can keep them alive while I'm gone.

Woche 4 – Gorilla Girl XL Auto Woche vier und die Gorilla Girl XL Auto hinterlässt bereits einen starken Eindruck. Die Pflanze hat einen deutlichen Stretch hingelegt und entwickelt eine kräftige, sehr symmetrische Struktur mit mehreren starken Seitentrieben. Auch hier zeigen sich inzwischen die ersten weißen Härchen (Pistils), wodurch klar wird, dass die Vorblüte gestartet hat. Besonders auffällig ist die Wuchskraft – die Internodien sind sauber aufgebaut und das Blattwerk wirkt extrem vital und sattgrün. Bis jetzt macht die Genetik ihrem Ruf alle Ehre: sehr stabil, sehr vital und mit viel Potenzial für eine starke Blütenentwicklung in den kommenden Wochen. 🔥🌱

Started off by setting up the growing environment and dialling everything in such as; RO Water for the RDWC hydroponic system. Water Heater being set at 20 degrees C. Water chiller being set at 21 degrees C. pH being set at 5.7/5.8 Room Temp and humidity 20/23 Degrees C / 60%/80%RH. Instead of using rockwool cubes to place my seeds, I put them directly into the clay pebbles. I then used a DIY humidity dome to place over the seeds until they make an appearance. I have been top feeding RO water every 6 hours. Foil was used to cover the net pot to ensure no light leaks were going into the system. Highly important in DWC. Will add some light nutrients once seeds are more established. Until the next one!

Everything went well appart from the afids in the end. She looks very pretty and smells awesome! Yield could be a litle higher... Still shooting for less than 1€/g. I think I will stop topping my plants. Week 10 Temperatures are still not as high as in week 8, still 25 degrees celsius (77fh), I gave a few days only PH water, but now i'm back on the feed again with PK 13/14. You can see some leafs turning a lighter colour green but i think this is normal ending of life cycle. Maybe someone can say more or else about it.

Just got back from a 10-day vacation and the Gorilla Melon has completely lost its mind! The AutoPot system worked flawlessly—the reservoir ran bone dry literally right as I walked through the door, so talk about perfect timing. The girl absolutely exploded during the summer heatwave and turned into a massive jungle monster, to the point where she’s literally knocking on the ceiling fan. The thrips are still a problem, though. The green lacewing larvae did not win the war while I was away. I will need to cut some leaves that don't look good and do a major cleanup. In just a few minutes, I’m taking the trimmers out to hack about 50 cm off the top to control her height and completely strip the bottom third for some fresh airflow. But overall, we are still in a good mood. Time to shape her up!

The Bruce Banner girls are growing strong and full of energy this week.💪🔥 They’re all at slightly different stages, but overall doing great: #2 is the most advanced one, she’s already done stretching and started to produce trichomes early in the week.✨ #1 is still the biggest plant in the tent and finished her stretch around mid to late week, also showing the first trichomes by now.🌿 #3 kept stretching until the end of the week and is a bit behind in flower development, but she’s almost as tall as #2 now and catching up nicely.🚀 All three plants look healthy, rich green, and well-balanced, no signs of any issues. They were watered as usual with RO water + CalMag, and got one feeding of Orgatrex this week.💧 Environment stayed on point: 24.8°C, 55% RH, and PPFD around 900–1000 µmol/m²/s under the Spider Farmer SE5000, controlled by the AC Infinity AI system 🌡️. The stretch is almost over, trichomes are forming everywhere, and the tent is starting to smell amazing, everything’s moving in the right direction 😎✨

End of summer, end of the outdoor grow 😊 At the beginning of the week, I gave the little one a thorough flush: with a compact substrate, its essential. Ive said it before, but Ill say it again: an incredible amount of resin production towards the end of her life, and buds hard as rocks for this genetic! Not a trace of pests: clearly, the hot, dry summer got rid of quite a few of them, the presence of attractive plants nearby in the garden (lavender, raspberry bushes etc.) diverted their attention, and finally, coexisting with the basil and cherry tomatoes in the greenhouse seems to be a good symbiosis. After the chop, she joins her big indoor sisters in the drying room; see you in 2 weeks for the weigh-in! EDIT : Result from this late-summer run in Northern Europe: 33 g, nicely trimmed, sticky all over and absolutely fragrant ! A modest yield, but a nice addition to my indoor production. This Strawberry stays on the fingers and leaves behind an aroma of cream and resinous wood. The curing has only just begun, so it should develop a beautiful bouquet. I’ll give it a first test in 4–6 weeks 😊

Additional considerations to be uploaded asap regarding : - Biochar pH 8,5; - Biochar nutrients absorption and retention capacity in relation with organic growing; - Biochar and Coco Coir micro and macro nutrients binding capacity; - moon effect during plant life cycle; - huge vitality has been noticed during crescent moon appearance; - plant is asking for more and more feeding; - growing will be abandoned for no more than 96 hours therefore a self irrigating cotton rope wick system has been implemented. alarm!! something went wrong the leaves hang down a lot on the vroder plant. it hardly smells like grass but only like wet hay. the tubers look a little shriveled up in the front ones. I have the feeling that she is already overripe but can't really say because it's my first grow. I urgently need good advice

Fighting the crazy humidity 😵‍💫 I had to cut away 1 second node bud because of mold😔 I checked everything very good after that and luckily it's the only one. I'm running two dehumidifiers in a small room at the same time it still wasn't enough. So yeah little disappointed but it is what it isssss let's continue. I still have a lot beautiful ladies going on I think so let's just focus on the positives💚💚💚

D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding.
