Because of the extrem Defolitation/Schwazzing, which was more or less necessary regarding Humidtiy levels of of over 95% around evening night and morning. Even though I also did it for trying out how the Plants react. They mainly stopped growing Bud for 3-4 Days and the leaves of the Bud Sides got a bit Bigger. Also I had problems with NutBurn and Heat Burn, Nutburn because of my not constantly watered Pots which, I guess, ended up beeing a really salty and nutrient soaked(from the soil) substrate because they are reused Filters for Water out of clay. As well in midday it gets really hot and we are more than 3500ft over the sea level. And why I grow in Clay Filters ? Just to try, in my opinion already not recommendable even though it keeps the Soil a bit cooler..

I went away for a few days and came back and the lst went well but i dont think ill do any further training. Loving how shes looking so far. Thinking about popping another seed in a week or 2.

Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! Just like Aron Judge the slumb continue. Somehow I went from 100% germination to not even half. Back to the trusted coffee filter and ziplocks and orange Nike shoe boxes ( THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT, CAN'T STRESS IS ENOUGH. ORANGE NIKE BOX) Didn't have space to grow 5 photos in a tent whit 2 photos waiting to flip when the 4 autoflowers are ready. Hope everything works out time wise though. Happy growing ✌️

Stunning looking ladies, beautiful stretch, this ladies are ready to give their best in flower, I'm starting to feel a very pungent smell on the bud sides and some resin production so far, let's see how this ladies keep developing, this is a really good strain, I expect top quality flowrs from this couple of girls! Still in trim Jail so not sure what final weight will be . It really varies because I had too many and it was crowded. The final product is super AAA though. I will post some pictures later of some trimmed stuff. Pulled off 1.3 grams/watt I suppose that is ok.

Start of Week 9 🙌 I plan to use fertilizer for bud growth from day 64 to day 70+... depending on when the harvest time occurs 😉😄👍 Started working with fertilizer today, every 2 days a mixture of 10ml per liter as long as the buds have not properly developed trichomes 😵 I hope this works 😵😲😱 Day 68 with fertilizer again

Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

Week 2 went well. Plant 1 kicked off the bloom cycle with a bang, plant 2, still asleep I guess🤷‍♂️ finally showing a flower formation on day 14. Plant 1 was showing after 34 hours of dark, day 2. As far as the canopy goes, 74 out of 81 squares filled. I'm guessing one more tucking session in a week and we sit back and watch. Cranked up the food to, again, what general hydro recommends at this stage aswell as some bud start I had a sample of from a buddy. I dont intend on buying any magic potions this time around, just the future harvest samples I have. Setup needs a reformat, at that point I will settle on a nutrient line for the next grow. The root mat seems to be working as I hoped. How this affects yield/quality vs extra veg who knows🤷‍♂️ but more roots more buds right? I'm also zeroing in on the dryback cycles which I believe is causing more branching and less tap root entanglement. Hard to capture but the root mat is a crisp white for the most part. In the photos, the dead yucky brown rot looking portions are actually only slightly darkened. Hopefully light leak, not fungus as the brown is only on mature roots and not slimy in the slightest. What can I say about barneys ayahuasca purple. Its purple already😅 I must add, flower set is a beautiful thing. The anticipation is building, fingers crossed🤞

I ordered a new bigger setup as you can see. Switched from LED to HPS. Although it has a significant heat output diff, I can tell the plants love it. I also noticed I developed some fungus nats in the soil of the smaller plants. I finally got a soil meter to help me know more exactly when go water which should rid the fungus nats if I'm not over watering. Lastly, I'm going to scrog this week. I know I'm doing it rather late but it's a learning experience and I'll start sooner next time. Will be a lot of weaving. And I'm still deciding if I should cut everything else below the screen.
