#Crop King Seeds Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds - The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique * The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area. * After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger. * After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination - The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method * This method took longer to break the seed surface. On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden. * Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting * Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top. * Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Well there’s 6 weeks of veg down, tonight will be the first night of 12/12 with HPS bulbs in. I’m going to be running the lights from 9pm to 9am due to summer heat and hopefully the tent will run cooler at night. Everything was super cropped today to limit the stretch a little bit, she’s 95% indica so might not get to much stretch, I also don’t have a clue as this is my first photo run with the HPS. All light leaks to the room have been addressed with green bulbs in the room. I’m at least hoping to get an ounce per plant if more great just not really sure what to expect. I feel as tho there is still lots of N in the pots but maybe over the next two week they’ll chew right thru it. Maybe I should have lowered the lights but I’m just going to leave em at the top of the tent..... well that’s it for now, I leave tomorrow for work so the next time we see em they should have some bud starting hopefully!

Buds are swelling up coming up to the final couple of weeks in flower. Will push for another week or two as trichomes are now mostly cloudy. Some of the tops have been pulled out slightly just to try an increase light penetration

I am still battling a little magnesium deficiency. Starting to add cal mag in her moisture water between feeds. Likely due to the small Potter she is in. Hopefully will have the rest of that issue resolved now. Also raising the ph a little should help as well. She is growing under the new Spider Farmer G3000 light. I likely will have to transplant to a little bigger small Potter soon. Been using the run off to rinse the substrate I will use. So she won't know anything happened when I do it. Just more room. Basically avoiding a ph difference between coco substrate is plan. D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding. 📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner. Nothing to report. Very rapid growth this week. She is already bigger than the other plants the same age. Only feeding water, will add nutes maybe on week 3. Also start training this week.

Harvested the Papayas - Smooth harvest, very sticky bud. Really happy with plant 1 :) Long trim sessions this week - hoping for some better yields from the Sweet Seeds F1 strains.

These ladies are really starting to stretch. Especially the Red Hot Cookies, holy cow they are getting big quick. Starting to see preflowers on all of the ladies. I will update throughout the week. 😀
