✂️🍯 Tical x Zamnesia — Nectar Drip | Drying & Trimming Report 🍯✂️
And… we are back again 😄
Yes — we are dividing the reports once more.
At this point it is probably becoming part of the diary itself, but honestly, there is simply too much happening during these runs to compress everything into one giant update without losing important moments along the way.
So thank you for the patience.
And welcome back to the next chapter of our Nectar Drip journey:
the drying,
the trimming,
the resin collecting,
the temple balls,
and the beginning of the cure.
🌱 Quick Recap
For anyone arriving only now:
This run was grown from seed under 12/12 lighting from the beginning.
No long vegetative phase.
No giant training sessions.
No massive shaping.
Just letting the genetics express themselves naturally while observing:
- structure,
- morphology,
- resin production,
- flower behavior,
- and overall cultivar personality.
Last week reflected the harvest itself:
- trichome maturity,
- fading colors,
- hanging branches,
- macro photography,
- stem structure,
- and final harvest observations.
One of the smaller plants was frozen immediately after harvest for future washing and extraction work, which we will still cover in a dedicated future update once we complete the washing process properly.
But this week?
This week belongs to the dry flowers.
And honestly…
these girls became something beautiful.
Drying Process
The flowers dried for roughly 10 days under controlled conditions:
- approximately 18–20°C
- around 60% RH
- with the first couple of days closer to 45% RH to help release initial surface moisture safely
This part matters far more than many people realize.
Drying is not simply:
“waiting until the plant becomes dry.”
It is controlled moisture migration.
The outside of the flower always dries first.
The inside stays wetter longer.
And the goal is slowing that process down enough for:
- chlorophyll breakdown,
- smoother smoke,
- terpene preservation,
- proper moisture redistribution,
- and stable curing afterward.
Dry too fast?
The outside crisps while the inside traps moisture.
Dry too slowly?
Risk increases:
- mold,
- anaerobic conditions,
- terpene degradation,
- unstable cure.
These Nectar Drip girls dried beautifully.
Dense flowers.
Excellent structure.
No rushed drying.
No hay smell.
No collapse.
Just slow clean progression.
And when the branches finally gave that satisfying “click” instead of bending…
we knew it was time 😄
✂️ Trimming Time
So:
gloves on,
trim bin ready,
studio lights running,
music playing quietly in the background,
Mr. Baggy supervising operations as always 😄
…and branch by branch, the process began.
We trimmed entirely by hand using Zamnesia curved-point scissors.
And honestly, these scissors became one of our favorite trimming tools.
The pointed curved tip allows:
- deeper precision,
- cleaner access between calyxes,
- easier sugar leaf removal,
- less accidental flower damage,
- and better control overall on dense compact flowers.
Especially important on cultivars like this one.
Because Nectar Drip became DENSE.
Not airy.
Not fluffy.
Proper compact greasy flowers.
The kind that fight back while trimming 😄
Every branch had to be broken down carefully:
- separating buds individually,
- removing excess leaf material,
- preserving flower shape,
- protecting trichome coverage,
- and trying not to spend half the trimming session glued to the scissors.
And yes…
the resin production here was honestly ridiculous.
🖤 Resin Everywhere
This cultivar is oily.
Not just frosty visually.
Oily physically.
The gloves became coated quickly.
The scissors accumulated thick dark resin constantly.
The trim bin slowly filled with golden material underneath.
And every few minutes we found ourselves scraping resin from:
- gloves,
- scissors,
- fingers,
- and tools.
That sticky dark material eventually became beautiful little temple balls.
And honestly?
The way this resin behaved says a lot about the quality of the cultivar.
Some resin stays dry and crumbly.
This one softened almost instantly with minimal heat.
Just body temperature alone was enough to:
- soften,
- bind,
- darken,
- and become workable.
Extremely greasy resin.
Extremely rich trichome expression.
The little temple balls became:
dark,
soft,
sticky,
shiny,
and incredibly aromatic.
Beautiful medicine already before even curing properly.
🏆 Final Dry Numbers
And now the final flower numbers for the dried plants:
🌱 337.3 grams dry flower
Plus:
the frozen material resting in the freezer for future washing and extraction work.
And honestly?
Very happy with these numbers.
Especially considering:
- the quality,
- density,
- resin production,
- flower structure,
- and the overall level of expression these girls delivered.
This was not “big yield but average flower.”
This was genuinely high-quality medicine.
📦 Storage & Beginning The Cure
After trimming:
the flowers were placed into glass jars for curing.
The temple balls also rest curing slowly inside glass.
And now another important phase begins:
time.
Because curing changes everything.
Terpenes settle.
Moisture equalizes.
Harshness fades.
Aromas deepen.
Smoke smooths out.
The cultivar slowly reveals its final personality.
And honestly?
This Nectar Drip already smells incredible.
Sweet.
Creamy.
Fruity.
Almonds.Dark.
Warm.
Slightly candy-like.
With this deep resinous backend that keeps evolving every day.
The room smelled unbelievable during trimming.
At some moments it genuinely felt like opening:
fruit candy,
fuel,
cream,
and warm resin all at once.
Very unique profile.
Very memorable.
📸 Documentation & Studio Sessions
Of course, we documented almost everything:
- trimming time-lapses,
- resin collection,
- temple ball formation,
- close-up flower shots,
- drying branches,
- sticky gloves,
- macro details,
- cinematic studio moments,
- and behind-the-scenes chaos 😄
Because honestly…
these moments matter too.
A grow diary becomes more than just showing finished buds after enough weeks.
It becomes documentation:
- of process,
- mistakes,
- lessons,
- atmosphere,
- obsession,
- patience,
- and passion.
And this run definitely carried all of that.

Day 77. Maybe a bit early, but no space and one Smoothie went for a date with bud rot ;))) didn't want to loose that nice top. Very frosty, nice gassy smell surrounded by fruits.
Day 82. Second girl is down. Both small as you see, but with few branches will produce seed packaging cover type plant. Maybe second got some purple fade ... First was very nice by structure.
Day 85. First went to jar. How lovely it sparkles and smells !!! Solid strain, even being so small by structure.
Day 89. Second is in jars too !

Everything is going fine now in week 2. I gave her only 2ml / 700 ml once. And after that just plain water. She started to stretch now. But she has recovered very well after the slow start. So finally she has a even canopy and thats what I wanted to achieve. For now she will get plain water till the Batmix runs out and I need to start give her Alga Blome. next week I will start giving her Green Sensation.

Blow Mind Blows My Mind!!!😎
👉Harvest day came! The plant trichomes were mostly cloudy, still a few clears and very little amber on the calyx’s. If this was the only indicator for this plant I would have kept going until I saw a few less clears. However the plant did not have many fresh calix’ and most of the leaves were fully faded and drying out (referring to the major cola branches). Since it’s a Sativa dominant strain, I wanted the uppy high and so there was no need to risk pushing any further.
👉To do the harvest, I started at the bottom of the plant. I trimmed the secondary branches off and most of those landed on the ‘larf’ net, and the major colas got wet weighed and placed on a clothes pin with a letter on it. I logged each bud with its wet weight. Each clothes pinned cola was hung on a drying rack. Some of the lower coals had some decent secondary buds and those were given numbers so they could be jarred with its main cola later. I was not able to access the plant and trim as much of the secondary branches from the main branches. The lower branches have lots of secondary branches and lots of under developed flower. I will categorize it as larf because it is under developed, even if each secondary branch would be the same size and quality as many of the so-called ‘contest winners’ on this site. But I digress…The bud structure wasn’t ‘perfect’, oversized calyx’s, longer and slender, with a bit of fox tailing. But oh wow is it frosty! This is the stickiest of any that I have grown so far. My first Gorilla glue lived up to its name as a scissor clogger…this plant is twice as sticky! The sticky is all over the plant and extends well out onto the sugar leaves and the stems. The lower areas of the plant also had more leaves on it, so it became a frustrating exercise of leaves being trimmed and sticking to my fingers as I plucked them, then switching to the scissors to snip the leaves, which quickly became sticky and required lots of scraping to keep working. I started using two different pairs of scissors, one for leaves and one for the buds. I did get a nice, almost marble sized scissor hash ball.
👉The buds had lots of sugar leaves; these were all frosty as fuck. So I only trimmed off the leaves that stuck out. I didn’t trim them close. The structure of this bud, a looser trim is seemed to be what it should get. I had 18 main colas, and 8 buds from a couple of the lower main colas. There was one and a half net racks with decent sized secondary buds, and two net racks full of ‘larf’. I didn’t weigh the larf after a few bunches. After all the buds were trimmed, cataloged and hug on the rack, and aimed a 42” tower fan set about 36” away and turned to a medium speed. Two smaller fans pointed at the round net rack. The grow tent exhaust was cranked to high because the sweet funky stank was pissing my wife off…so I knew it was going to be something special! Outside, even with moderate breezes you could smell it outside around the house. After 12 hours I rotated the buds side that faced the fans, after 8 more hours I turned the fan down to its lowest speed. I again rotated the buds and weighed a couple to see the reduction in weight so far. The buds on the net rack were turned every 8 hrs. During this time the outdoor temps were in the 40s and sunny. My HVAC was set to 65f and didn’t run much. After the buds started feeling a little dry on the outside I placed them inside paper lunch sacks and left the tops open. I monitored the buds closely till they felt like they were getting a little drier. At that time I closed the top of the bags. When I did that step I weighed a couple buds and we were at about 38%. Another couple of days like this and I weighed again, we were at about 25-30% weight remaining. Normally I shoot for 20-25%, however the buds felt very dry so I proceeded with the cataloging the weight as I placed into jars. I placed hygrometers in each jar and expected to be leaving the jars open regularly to keep the humidity down. Surprisingly most of the hygrometers were registering below 60% humidity with only a few of the jars needing any airing out. My target humidity is 62%, but since they have all been slightly lower I have held off on putting the humidity packs in. The buds are still a little moist around the middle and Im sure the extreme frosty stickiness is contributing to holding in some moisture. This isn’t a bad thing and I have the humidity low enough that I shouldn’t get any mildew. I put the 62% humidity packs into the jars as I felt that each jar needed it. The final weights do not include the 'larf'. The total of the underdeveloped 'larfy' buds was 142g and would make great hash. I wont be making hash however because I the kief hash is already more that I will consume.
👉I took a small larf branch two weeks early. . I just let it dry out with no care for about 5 days then put into a small jar. It’s really the best larf I’ve toked yet. Very sticky, sweet funk aroma, and a nice strong buzz. I sampled some of the main buds after being in the jars a few days and it was significantly stronger! Taking a tiny bit of the scissor hash at two weeks was exponentially stronger! At 6 weeks the flavor is wonderful. Smooth and sweet. The taste at exhale make me smile.

16/07 gave her the chop after 8 days flush and 2 days darkness. Aiming for at least 10 days drying time. My scales couldn't read her wet weight without being cut up, which in not doing yet.

Gran semana en la cual ella sigue creciendo de forma considerable.
Parece que centra toda la fuerza en la cola principal, las ramas laterales no se están desarrollando todavía.

Beautiful pair of haze berries, both phenos #1 and #2 showing strong healthy roots and big leafs, can't wait to flower this ladies out, I Transplanted the plants after 17 days of being planted on February 2nd because the roots were super well developed and I considered that it was the right time to do so. So now they are in their new 11l house.

Day 50, 5th of November 2020:
Fucking hell in the second video i just broke the tray LOL....
Anyways... The lamp has been switchet to 12/12 for 4 days from now she is streching and has a nice smell :)
No training needed just waiting....
Fertilization happens more often like every 2nd day and more of the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L haha ;)

The Gorillaz zkittlez (on the left) start to be really sticky. And smell like zkittlez... One of them has some really Orange pistils.
The blue sherbet x purple punch (on the right) is a little bit slower. Less trichromes, less smell. Bud the bUds start to be nice as well.
As the brand suggests at the 4 week of flowering I add 5grs/L of guano for flowering stage on the top of the soil.
No pk booster this time for watering. Maybe I will put the minimum amount of power feeding booster the next watering.

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱
Day 24 - Decided to pull the smallest purple lemonade that wasn’t doing anything so I can go ahead and get something else going in it’s place! Watered the other ladies today.
Day 25 - Ladies are still stretching like crazy!

Week 2 of flowers started, gave her a nutrients feeding. She's loving life. This plant is going to be much bigger than my first grow. I'm excited, I'm using half the amount of nutrients suggested on the bottles. I don't know if it's the breeder or the nutrients. But I'll continue doing what I'm doing. I'll post more pictures during the week. Why are the white hairs already starting to get brown?
Day44.....this plant keeps growing, I'm getting worried lol. She's actually 24inches tall and there are buds everywhere 😊. Day 46....seems like she eased up on the vertical growth. I guess it time to fatten up.
Day 47......thank God I didn't do 2 gsc plants. I would have definitely needed a dehumidifier. She's doing very well, I have no complains. I hope she will be ready to harvest in 3week because I will be going out of town for at least 4 days and she drinks at least a gallon in 2 days. Lat day of week 2 of flower day 48..... she's doing very well and keeps growing. Finished up this week with a nice fat feeding. Can't wait to see these buds swell up, I think I might end up having to support her buds.

💜 Purple CousKush Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno A | Week 8 (Flower Week 5) 🌱
She Bent. She Bounced Back. And She Kept Building.
There are weeks in a grow where everything goes exactly according to plan.
And then there are weeks where life happens.
The room is busy.
The outside world keeps moving.
There are a thousand things happening at the same time...
And occasionally, one of the plants reminds you that even the best plans still require us to pay attention.
This week, Purple CousKush Pheno A taught me that lesson.
I underwatered her.
Nothing catastrophic.
Nothing that caused lasting damage.
But enough that when I looked at her, the leaves had completely dropped.
She was thirsty.
Very thirsty.
And this is actually an important distinction for anyone following the diary:
A controlled dry-back is not the same thing as allowing a flowering plant to become so dry that she starts wilting.
The first can be part of an irrigation strategy.
The second is simply me missing the watering window. 😂
So we corrected it.
She received her water.
We gave her time to recover.
And by the following day...
She was back.
And not only was she back...
She was ready for her next chapter.
💧 The Underwatering Lesson
When a plant becomes this thirsty, the first thing I look for isn't panic.
I look at the plant.
Leaves dropping dramatically from a lack of available water is usually a very different visual story from nutrient toxicity, heat stress or a root-zone problem.
In this case, the explanation was simple.
She needed water.
After watering, she recovered beautifully.
That quick recovery was reassuring and also a good reminder that plants can be remarkably resilient.
Still, during this stage of flowering, it's something I want to avoid repeating.
I personally prefer being slightly more conservative with irrigation rather than keeping the root zone constantly saturated.
But there's a difference between allowing a healthy dry-back and pushing the plant far enough that she has to start waving a little white flag.
This week, Purple CousKush definitely waved it.
Message received. 😂
I will do my best not to make her wave it again.
✂️ From Recovery Straight Into Defoliation
Perhaps the most impressive part was what happened next.
Once she had recovered and returned to normal posture, I gave her another day and then performed the flowering defoliation.
This was part of the broader room strategy we've been following.
The objective wasn't to strip her.
It wasn't because she suddenly looked unhealthy.
And it wasn't because every leaf needed to disappear.
The goal was simply to clean up the canopy and remove foliage that was no longer contributing much to the plant's structure.
Some of the interior and lower areas had become crowded, and selectively removing those leaves created more open space between the flowering sites.
More room for air.
More room for light.
More room for the plant to breathe.
And with the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting now part of the system, we're also able to observe which lower flowering sites are actually worth keeping.
The plant herself will tell us.
🌿 She Took It Like Nothing Happened
This is probably my favourite part of the entire week.
After being underwatered...
She recovered.
After being defoliated...
She didn't miss a beat.
She's standing there looking beautiful, healthy and completely ready to continue flowering.
No prolonged setback.
No dramatic reaction.
No hesitation.
Just...
Back to work.
And honestly, that's exactly what I love about this phenotype.
She has been one of the more energetic plants in this room from the beginning.
She stretched.
She branched.
She built an impressive framework.
She started stacking flowers.
And now she's moving deeper into the part of flowering where that structure needs to start paying for itself.
💜 Week 5 Flower – The Structure Is Paying Off
At approximately 125 cm, Purple CousKush Pheno A has become one of the taller and more distinctive plants in this room.
Her Christmas-tree-like architecture has become even more obvious.
A strong central leader rises through the canopy while numerous side branches form their own flowering towers around her.
And now, after defoliation, that architecture is even easier to see.
The plant has space.
The branches are separated.
The flowering sites have room around them.
And the entire structure feels much more open.
This is exactly what I want at this stage.
We're no longer trying to build the plant.
We're trying to help the plant finish what she already built.
🌸 Flowers Are Taking Over
The flowers continue developing along virtually every major branch.
Those bright pistils that were appearing last week are now becoming part of increasingly defined flowering clusters.
The buds are beginning to gain substance.
The calyxes are stacking.
And the first layer of frost that appeared earlier is becoming increasingly visible.
This is the beautiful transition where the plant starts looking less like a collection of flowering sites and more like an actual flowering plant.
She's not finished.
Not even close.
But the direction is very clear.
She's building.
And she's building everywhere.
💡 Photons, Air & Open Space
This is another reason I decided to clean her up.
Defoliation isn't about magically creating more light.
The photons are already there.
What we're trying to do is improve how effectively that light can travel through the canopy.
Every unnecessary leaf sitting directly above another flowering site can intercept some of that light.
Every dense pocket of foliage can also interfere with airflow.
By selectively removing some of those leaves, we create pathways.
Light can travel deeper.
Air can move more freely.
Humidity has fewer opportunities to become trapped between dense layers of foliage.
And the under-canopy lighting can interact with the lower structure more effectively.
It's a little like opening windows in a house.
We're not creating more air.
We're simply giving the air better places to go.
🌱 Same Genetics. Different Story.
One of the most rewarding things about this 8×8 Adventure continues to be the diversity happening inside one room.
Twelve different genetic expressions.
Same general environment.
Same cultivation philosophy.
Same room.
Yet every plant writes her own story.
Purple CousKush Pheno A has always been one of the plants that seems to have somewhere to go.
She's taller.
She's more energetic.
She keeps producing structure.
And even after a little reminder from me this week that she needed a drink...
she's right back there doing her thing.
That's genetics.
We can guide.
We can train.
We can manage the environment.
We can manage irrigation.
But ultimately, the plant decides what she's going to be.
💧 Feeding & Root Zone
The flowering feeding program continues with the Plagron lineup:
Terra Bloom — 2.2 ml/L
Pure Zym — 1 ml/L
Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L
Power Buds — 1 ml/L
Green Sensation — 1 ml/L
pH Plus / Lemon Kick — as required for pH adjustment
The target remains around:
pH: 5.8
EC: approximately 1.95 mS/cm
After this week's watering mistake, I'm particularly paying attention to irrigation timing.
Not because the plant is struggling.
Quite the opposite.
Because she's growing beautifully, and I don't want a preventable watering mistake interrupting that momentum again.
A healthy dry-back is part of irrigation management.
A wilted plant is my reminder to look at the clock. 😂
🌡️ Environment
The room continues providing a stable environment for the entire 8×8 Adventure:
Light schedule: 12/12
PPFD: approximately 850–1,000 across the canopy
Day temperature: 29°C
Night temperature: 25°C
Relative humidity: 60%
Solution temperature: 21°C
Root-zone temperature: 21°C
CO₂: approximately 639 ppm
The stability of this environment is what allows a mistake like underwatering to remain just that:
a mistake.
Not a disaster.
The plant was healthy before it happened.
The environment remained stable.
The root zone was given water.
And she recovered quickly.
That's one of the reasons I put so much importance on the entire ecosystem rather than chasing one individual number.
🔮 Looking Ahead
Now that the defoliation is complete and she's recovered, I'm expecting Purple CousKush to put her energy where we want it most.
Into the flowers.
The vertical stretch should continue slowing down.
Flower clusters should continue stacking along those long branches.
The calyxes should begin swelling more noticeably.
And resin production should become increasingly obvious as she moves deeper into bloom.
I'm particularly interested in watching how the cleaned canopy performs over the next couple of weeks.
More airflow.
Better light movement.
Less unnecessary foliage.
And hopefully...
no more thirsty ladies waving their leaves at me. 😂
💭 Final Thoughts – A Little Reminder From The Plant
This week wasn't perfect.
And I'm actually glad it wasn't.
Because growing isn't about pretending everything goes perfectly every day.
It's about learning to read the plants.
Purple CousKush told me she was thirsty.
I listened.
She recovered.
Then she let me clean her up.
And now she's standing there looking absolutely beautiful, waiting for the next chapter.
I still genuinely prefer a slightly cautious approach to watering rather than constantly keeping the root zone saturated. But there's a lesson here:
Dry-back can be intentional. Wilting is communication.
And this girl communicated very clearly. 😂
I'll do my best not to make her repeat herself.
For now, she's healthy.
She's recovering beautifully.
She's been defoliated.
She's producing flowers.
She's getting frosty.
And she's continuing to prove why she earned her place in this 8×8 Adventure.
Sometimes the plant teaches us through perfect growth.
Sometimes she teaches us by dropping every leaf in the room and saying:
"Hey, Doctor... I need a drink." 😂💜

The plants keep growing and the first pistils have appeared a little bit more than one week after the 12h/12h switch.
It looks like some of the leaves close to the fan received too much wind so I moved the fan to the other side of the crop to see if it's better, it seems to work.
The Blackberry Cake branches grew much this week and unfortunately I didn't see that the LST strings were too tight 😒 Now I removed them but they left some marks on the branches. It already happened to me with previous grows but the plants recovered 😎
It has been two weeks since the 12h/12h switch, I think I can expect some small flowers during next week 👊

Mr. Pipi welcomes you to the 15th Week of Grow and the ~6th week of flower.
I guess the Colas stopped bulking up as quickly as at the beginning. Sadly, but that´s nature.
Maybe a last time watering with molasses and then the next 2weeks flushing. Maybe some ice cubes to see if she gets purple, but i doubt it :D
Day 107: its exactly 7 weeks since Mr. Pipi switched light cycle.
Girl is starting getting purple.

🌿 week 7 Update: Frost & Fire! ❄️🔥
We are officially moving into the "sweet spot" of the flowering phase! The tent is starting to smell incredible, and the girls are putting in some serious work. If you look closely at those bud sites, the trichome production is kicking into high gear, giving everything that beautiful, frosty shimmer we’ve been waiting for.
The Feeding Strategy
This week, I’m leaning heavily into the bloom boosters to ensure these colas have everything they need to swell up. Here is the current cocktail:
Bio-Bloom (BioBizz): 2 ml/L – Keeping those base flowering nutrients steady.
Top-Max (BioBizz): 1 ml/L – Stimulating cell division and increasing sugar production.
PK 13-14 (Plagron): 2 ml/L – The "heavy hitter" for this stage to add some serious density.
📈 Progress Report
The Stretch: It looks like the vertical stretch has finally stabilized, and the plants are now focusing 100% of their energy on bud development.
Canopy Check: I’ve been performing some light defoliation to make sure light is reaching the lower bud sites. Airflow is key right now to prevent any moisture buildup in those thickening clusters.
Flower Development: The pistils are still mostly white and reaching out, meaning we still have plenty of swelling left to do.
Grower’s Note: Keep an eye on the leaf tips! With the addition of the PK 13-14, I'm watching closely for any signs of nutrient burn, but so far, the girls are drinking it up like champs.

The plan for the coming days is to maintain a steady environment and keep the pH dialed in. I’ll be watching the buds get thicker and stickier by the hour.
