Auto Flowers: Humboldt Seed Company — best autos you've grown. Extremely resinous, especially the OG Triploid. Top tier for autos. Fast Buds — very close second. Super fast, nice flavors, reliable. You like them a lot but note they're in a different class (not fair to directly compare to Humboldt). Why RQS Strains Underperformed The 7/10 rating and "needed a lot of power to switch to flower" comment is classic for some RQS genetics, especially certain autos or hybrids. Possible reasons: Genetics: Some RQS lines are finicky about light schedules or have slower/more reluctant flowering responses. Mike Tyson 2.0 and Corkscrew apparently needed the 12/12 flip to finally push. Light/Environment: With five tents running, light penetration, spectrum, or intensity might not have been ideal for these particular strains. Autos can be sensitive to stress during the transition. Nutrient response: They may have needed more phosphorus/potassium or different ratios to bulk up properly. The fact that you had to force Corkscrew into 12/12 at week 20 and it's now only "OK" suggests it was a slower or lower-yielding pheno for your conditions. Strong Performers Brothers Grimm → These sound like the real winners in your tent right now. Brothers Grimm has a reputation for unique, high-quality landrace-influenced genetics with excellent resin and flavor profiles. "Otherworldly better" is high praise — they clearly thrive in your setup. Humboldt Seed Company autos → Excellent choice for resin production. OG Triploid is a standout for trichome density. Fast Buds → Reliable, fast, flavorful — a safe, consistent auto line. Recommendations Going Forward Double down on what works: Keep running more Brothers Grimm (especially the ones you loved). Stick with Humboldt for autos when you want maximum resin. Week 8 slowly but surely … starting to get smells from both .. 👌🏽

Did defoliation as usual and a little lollipoping. Did 2 complete refills of the reservoir, ph stayed stable for 1 day after the exchange but then super unstable again. Dropped the EC with the second refill to 1000 to see if it stays stable. Ori is going good, already looking frosty, NL#2 is comming aswell, NL#1 not so much.

So this week I added nutrients for the flowering stage. I gave her a little trim as well as added her netting. I flipped her on last Sunday PP

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. Day 36# Day flowering 19# As for the autos, i'm changing the title to "dwarf" lol I was not at all satisfied with the vegetation, even less so with the stretching... as far as that is concerned the stretching is not much different from last week, they are only 5 cm bigger,streching is over,they also branched badly, although they were under heat stress almost the whole week, but let's move on. Got the girls into there flowering tent and there 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We are flipping them now because these DWC systems produce massive plants. We are going to tuck through the stretch until they stop this time and try and keep them as low as possible. I’ve grown this strain before a few times and ran a couple clone runs of it as well, so I think I know what to expect hopefully. Lol this is a spectacular strain from an A+ breeder(Canuk Seeds) and I can’t wait to smoke her again! One of those tried tested and true strains for me...lol I will also be keeping the light at max height and punching them with 1000w rite from the get go instead of lowering the wattage and trying to get the light closer to try and conserve power. I get a better light spread at 1000w 3 feet away and don’t have to move my light as much to cover the roughly 4x6 foot space of the tent I will be flowing in. The last 2 feet of the tent are reservoir and air conditioner. I don’t want the cold air to close to my plants so I try to keep a buffer zone. I will be adding a cardboard wall I think across blocking the air conditioners direct air output and blow it across the tent with my oscillation fan instead. I also have my second water cooled thermoelectric reservoir water chiller built now and I will be installing it in this reservoir as soon as I get a chance. I’m making a how to DIY video for it so it’s taking a bit longer to build and install as I’m trying to document the entire process. So probably next week I will have it installed and running for the weekly update and I’ll post some links to the DIY video as well if I have it up yet. Couple weeks ago I over nute’d them and ended up with nitrogen abundance so I countered that last week with a very low EC at 0.2 and the rebounded quick, so quick they went the opposite and I had nitrogen deficiency within the week. Lol so they are now in there new homes and sitting in 0.75 EC water with 6.0ph and they are coming around now. Well that’s it for this week folks, Cheers! 💨

This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering, for the 3 plants inside. Things are going good in here this week. I want to get in here this week and do my last trim/prune before the resin starts flowing. The Voodoo Plant opened this week. It smells like rotten stuff so the flies pollenate it. It's only a 4 day flower before it goes bad. I showed some of the sweat shirts and t-shirts I put image's on, with a ink jet printer and some iron on transfer paper.
