The time has come!!!! I was gonna give it a couple more days but I’m too antsy and want to get this girl drying already. I will be cutting her down at the end of today she has been getting straight water these past week she isn’t getting any color just yellowing of the leaves. She smells minty when defoliating but the buds smell skunky and dank asf. Light green buds remind me of old school weed I used to smoke in HS shits amazing.

Amazing harvest!! I get way better results using NPK only and 1 Bud booster, and of course calmag+, but everytime i use multiple additives it gives my plants more problems!!

9.26 - The Dumpster Queens is really starting to stank good. Very diesel and earthy! The buds are still putting on weight and are dense, very little squish or give when I give em a moderate pinch. I am imagining I have ~3 weeks left before chop.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. Bud's don't seem too big yet. Took a while to show pistils once I'd switched to 12/12 so hope they're just a little slow. Plant growing in soil is smallest but has fattest Buds.

08/12 - 14/12: nothing much to do right now. Buds are getting really frosty. Not sure if it's a lack of potassium or pH related but some leafs are yellowing, nothing major so I'm not really concerned but I'm going to adjust my soil recipe for the next run.

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise 😈 More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time 😻👹😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3.
