Just flipped these girls into there new home. Lets see how they do. Will be running this grow with a line called bio vital. It includes humic acid, folic acid, sea kelp, molasses and benificials. Hearing good things about it. Lets see how she does.

It’s Aliiiiiiive! Finally built my second matching hybrid NFT hydro system after getting the autos out of the main tent. 6” Rockwool cubes on draining racks in 8 gallon totes with an 8 gallon res. Waiting on some parts from amazon to add the second pump and feeding tubes. Hoping to veg them for 3-4 weeks before I flip the schedule. Haven’t decided if I want to scrog them yet or not.

We are almost there! Second ripening week and after this i will get with AN final flash. I'm giving half the power to the lights for an hour in the morning and one in the evening, a kind of sunrise and sunset, removed the heater from the tank so as to simulate the arrival of the autumn cold, the tops have a purple color. everything seems to flow thanks for your visit here buddies wish you the best 💚🌱🤜🏼🤛🏼 Finally i've taked some smartphone camera pics only smartphone flashlight and grow lights off. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. I've enjoyed a lot growing this plant, I had to deal at tje end of thr cycle with fungus gntas but she resisted without problems, each day the flowers stink more and more, amazing genetic, I would definitely like to keep on working with this genetic, it's a pleasure to smoke, I recomend you to grow her organically like I did snd you'll see!

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and her final week and man o man she’s gonna be amazing. She’s almost to the percentage of amber trichs that I’m looking for so she’ll be getting the chop this weekend and planning on doing it Sunday, just waiting for her to dry out. Day 79 - She ambered up quite a bit the last 24 hours and she’s almost dried up so will most likely do the chop on Friday. Nice, fat and dense buds and can wait to give this girl a try. What an easy grow this has been. Day 80 - Decided I’m going to give her until Sunday now for the chop. Going out of town for two days and don’t want to rush chopping her tomorrow night. So ended up giving her 2 more gallons of cold plain water and the way she was drinking, she should be ready Sunday evening. Day 82 - She’s actually fattened up quite a bit more the past couple days and on track to chop tomorrow. Heading out of town for the night and she’s pretty much dried up and should be good for an evening chop.

06/30/2020 Ain't she sweet! She has produced the seed I wanted so I am gonna feed her some OVERDRIVE see if she will make a little more buds to smoke. Cookie Cake would normally go 7-10 weeks on a 12-12 schedule so I think she will be done by week 7 at 11-13 light/dark schedule. Can't wait to start these seeds, my mouth is watering thinking of how the flavors and aromas will recombine! Maybe some cherry vanilla earthy pine goodness? We shall see hopefully a perfect union!

Nothing much to report. The smell is growing more distinctive. Lots of pistils are coming out. It's an exciting time but much less work than veg was. I changed the nutrients on Thursday and just topped up with more water and pH down this morning (Monday).
