Hey everyone at week 4 know and wow have these girls grown early this week I applied some LST and all took really well to say it was my first time trying this

The plants seemed to recover very well this week from the nutrient burn last week. I did a defoliation on some of the odd nodes of the Dominican Republic to free up some wasted energy. The ppm was still reading a little high on each so I didn't feed them and just flushed them back to appropriate values. My grow light was finally cleared through customs and I added it to supplement the light issues which the plants seemed to respond very nicely too. Halfway through the week I applied some foliar spray and it really improved the colour and health of the plants. Lastly I topped each plant to resume progress on the mainlining and they should each reach 4 healthy lines within the new week.

SF1000 for veg and SE5000 for Flowering (10-20 days after Flowering started "when pre fower is over") Mis information across the board about set-up, methods and so on: So, I decided to go ahead and use 1 seed. After looking at her Height she's XXL. So, I've no doubts if I decide to do a Scrog, I'll just use 1 seed, fanning the phenos out. I'll start it more at the corner and bend it down across the pot and no defoliations will be done as I'll need all leafs to extend the nodes growth. I'm not 100% gone on doing a 50cm2 scrog. Taking up 1/4 of my tent isn't something I like doing while strain hunting. Coming off how the bud is then I'll possibly do a scrog. I've so many plants going this crop. I think doing a Scrog will take a lot of my attention away from my other girls. I'm using my 70cm2 to veg my autos and a few of my fems, giving me an extra .5m2 space. My SF1000 is back at it again. She's a fantastic light, I always get excellent young plants from this light. Its from their old led setup. It has a small touch of Far Red. Days since sprouted: 0-7 Seedling Days; Came up showing a yellow set of leafs. Meaning I put the seed to deep into the substrate. And it broke its shell long before popping its head above the sub. Growth is good. Hopefully coming into day 9 or 10 she should have left the seedling stage and into a veg phase. Nutrients/Substrate used. Royal mix from plagron will see her through at least 4 weeks. (Alga Grow will be introduced at the end of week 2, as it takes time for organic nutrients to kick in). Power Roots & Pure Zym will be used for the next few weeks in earnest help nutrient uptake via the nutrient rich soil. Bat Guano Soil from plagron will be added upon the flip, (again been fully organic it should take a few weeks to kick in), Nutrient feeds are once a week, topped up with water if and when needed. But as they're seedlings you really only need to give its 1st Feed and keep a high RH. What a smell coming off these babies in veg. Had to turn fan on with filter. Stinking up my house without it. Plants are doing great with scheduled auto water and now lights being at 18 inches at 70w. Didn't realize how intense these lights were. Still short and stalky but starting to stretch now. Showing minimal pistills in 2 of 4 plants. Will start flowering in week 6 Runoff till about 20%. 1500EC in reservoir. Runoff is around that range so all is good. Topped 3 out of 4 plants this week. Was just going to bend main stalk but not much room to do so.

Sehr gute Sorte. Sie Bss#1 hat ein etwas organisches leicht limoniges Aroma und die bss#2 riecht sehr stark nach Eukalyptus. Mir gefallen beide aber ganz gut. Vorallem ist die Wirkung ist sehr gut.

FBT2402 had a rough life. She had mites the whole grow. She was already flowering when I figured it out. So I could not treat the flower then. She has a strong piney, citrus, and sweet smell. It looks like it will be a few ounces once it is all done. She looks good. I didn't add any nutrients this week. To be honest, I hardly add anything during the season when I compare to other grows. Trichromes look like an arm holding a sphere. No T-tops like on skunk variants, maybe later. We will see. Colors are starting to vary on the plant from golden to baby blueish and solid canna-green. It's hard to believe she's got 2 more months to go, but the trichromes are a tell-tale since they are mostly clear with some milky-ness beginning to develop. Caterpillars continue to cause havoc. Looking out to spot them. Watering has become less of an issue with the temperatures leveling off in low eighties. Plant is thirsty as expected for this time of year.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂.
