Flushed my 3 Gallon pot on day 63. Day 65 pot is still heavy. I’m gonna give no more updates on the 5 Gallon, it just isn’t swelling I have lost all hope in being able to harvest it. As you can see from the video it’s a very bizzare pheno Day 67 Fed 5 liters of water and plan to harvest when pot is next dry. Couldn’t resist so cut and trimmed 1 little branch as gonna wait a few more days before harvesting the plant. It’s been drying for 2 days and as you can see I’m so very close to trying my first spliff.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. These funky mutants continue to surprise and amaze with their one-of-a-kind growth patterns. While the colder weather has introduced a few challenges, we’re adapting and thriving together. Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Amazing genetics - worth every money you spend on it 👻

Got some sealant to properly seal my DIY CO2 generator and lil maggie seems to like it. Her buds are starting to swell up. For the CO2 generator I did the following: 2 Liter Bottle -> 1 Liter Bottle -> Fan (Fermenting) -> (Water Filter) -> (Distribute) Ingredients: Sugar - 3/4 Cup Yeast - 1 Teaspoon Water - 6 Cups Step 1: Add 6 cups of room temperature water to the 2 liter bottle. Step 2: Add 3/4 cup of sugar to the water and mix until sugar is fully dissolved. Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of yeast and let sit until bubbles appear in water filter bottle. 
Step 4: Direct the end hose to the plant canopy. CO2 is heavy so it falls, use fan to blow it to the plant canopy.

Buenas chicos, Pues ya entramos a inicio de la semana 2 de floración, las plantas van tomando forma y se les aplico limpieza de bajo y un poco de desfoliacion en la parte superior, se subió la EC y se le introdujo el co2 a 1200 ppm para inicio, como podran ver en el video y las imágenes, van de maravillas. Espero lo esten disfrutando como yo!!

Just thought these girls where a 8 week strain. Looks like there gonna be another 1 or 2 more weeks. I’m kinda bummed cause I could of fed last week and might of gotten them a lil bigger. Oh well. The fade on the Saturn citrus is so sexy!

Good growth on the wedding glue , not quite ready to be tied down but she’s next on the list prolly at the end of the week . She was transplanted again into her forever home looking to double her size again the coming week . Life’s good .

Hung them to dry today, very happy to say I have found 3 very very good keeper phenos which doesn’t surprise me as I have grown many seeds of this before. The pictures and video tell more than words can say. I have named my favourite pheno ‘john wayne’ as I have a convoy swagger about my walk every time I look at her😂 I lost this pheno a few months ago and so relieved to have her back plus two other great phenos. Barneys absolutely provides some real fire genetics and I have been a fan since blue cheese and pineapple chunk were released many years ago.

Hi there. So beautiful. We had really nice week compate to September in the UK sunny and good weather but all has changed this week seems to be crap. Rainy and now it is 11 celsus at 7:00 am in the morning. She would be so thick I can see but because of the weather I ain't gonna have that much buds. Still nice 👌 🤣 OMG the smell is incredibly nice like spicy citrus thing with sweet odour.... amazing! Very strong anyways strong smell LOL
