Day 70: She now starts to develop her buds. Ill keep the feed constant and let her dry out a bit between waterings. Day 74: She developed some brown spots. Flushed and gave her a new feed. Dont now whats going on here. Hopefully it stops and don't progress further.

The ladies had some nice stretching the last few days, I wonder how much more stretch we will get. This coming weekend we're going to do some defolating to expose more budsights and to improve aircirculation. It also helps in lowering the humidity.

Got 2301 into her final home in a 3 gallon pot, I used grow dots at 1 table per gallon of medium and made the bottom 3rd of the soil a little hot with fresh ocean Forrest soil, and purple cow non manure compost.. and moved her to my new ac infinity 3x3 tent!

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Did a smell check of the resin and found that Plant #1 smells of Sweet Mandarin Orange. Plant #2 smells like a freshly washed Sweet Carrot right out of the garden. Plant #3 smells like a average Sweet Round Orange. I'm hoping plant #1 have big, dense, strong smoking, buds. Love that smell. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Pineapple Kush is a monster, she has almost 20 big branches, every single branch is big as an indoor plant. I've growth 30 strains in my life but I never seen a plant with a such LTS attitude. You bend her, she responds quickly, you bend her again? She responds faster. Little bit late on flowering.

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

flipped to flower a couple days ago. you'll see a defoliation in the timelapse, they bounce back just so quick it's insane. just barely started stretching yesterday/today. super excited for that and to see how my canopy / quadline works out in the end. i've gone down a whole living soil / organics rabbit hole recently with BuildASoil and One Straw Revolution etc etc. I really think I'm going to switch to large living soil beds for my next grow. That said, I've started adding in some foliar and root drenches with organic products - BuildABloom, fish hydrolysate, freeze dried coconut and aloe. Plants seem to really be enjoying it, after applying they just seem so happy. really happy with the smell I'm getting and don't even have pistils, much less flower yet. So that's pretty much where I'm at. Wyze camera dropped the ball on the timelapse for the...sixth week in a row. I set it up, it seems to be running fine all week and then at the end it's missing days and corrupted. I got my hands on a linux script to make timelapses out of the raw footage, so this week I'm just recording continuously and going to try and run that.

Fall weather is here this week. It has cooled down tremendously which means my grow tent isn't getting too hot for my girls. This is week 5 of flowering. The website says it could flower up to 10 weeks. I took Sexy Moma outside so I could get some good pictures of her. Take a look at her packed, frosty buds! I also used my max-see to take some close up pictures as well. She needs a few more weeks before she is ready to harvest. She smells wonderful!

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

The Girls Are Looking Healthy. There’s A Bit Of Deficiency In The Stardawg Leaves But That’s Because Of An Experiment I Was Doing With The Great White Mycorrhizae Where I Sprinkle Some On The Plant Saucer Because There’s So Much Roots Poking Out Under The Smart Pots. The Root System On These Girls Are Massive, I’ve Come To The Conclusion That I Will Try 7 Gallon Smart Pots My Next Grow. 3 Of The Girls Have Done Start To Bud But I’ve Still Been Giving Them The Grow Nutrients Rather Than The Bloom. I Was Waiting Till I Reach Week 5 And Now That I’ve Reach I Will Be Feeding Them The Bloom. Day 22: Started on LST today. For the first time ever I removed 1or 2 of the big fan leaves before bending the plant over. These leaves would have become trapped under the plant so i would be removing them later anyway so I thought it would be easier to do so beforehand. I also removed the first pair of nodes after the cotyledon. To reduce the risk slowing down or stunting growth I done this bit of defoliation under a very dim light, half way through the 6 hour lights out night schedule when all the plants hormones would have been returned to the roots.. Day23: Continued with more LST pinning down branches. Day 24: Small bit more LST toady and also moved plant from the veg space with CFL’s to the main grow space in under the LED lights. There’s a good few pistils starting to show. Day 25: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1m G). Took around 3 litres. Day 27: Removed the biggest low down fan leaf. Day 28: Removed one more big fan leaf but in the process accidentally removed a branch also. Mr.Nelson was pretty pissed. But you know what they say “What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger”. Han suggested I don’t use that phrase with Mr.Nelson.
