At the end of the 6 week of bloom the blackberry cake feminised is holding up. Her bloom is not that fruit full as was lacking the essential nutrients to achieve that. Although the lady is blooming nicely. Her leaves have faded due to the lack of nutrients. I finally came back from vacation, and I already visited it:) it doesn't look bad, a few higher branches look like the leaves are on fire, a lot of leaves were cut off yesterday so that the plant would devote more energy to the flowers:) I think the flowers will burst and expand within a week:)

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Our Blue Dream by Zamnesia is the only classic strain we are growing in this round and since your friend breadandbuds loves that golden one I could only try to bring out the best in her. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and one left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed, in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same strain. In this diary we find the plant worked with the main lining. The low internodal distance flats are fantastic but not the most suitable for this technique, I enjoy applying it anyway because it is too much fun. The small arms of branches are less workable and tend to be less elastic because the stiffening phase of the hemp naturally comes earlier but it can be done. In fact, little by little we are arriving at a very good result, not even in too much time to tell the truth always a month and a half of veg maximum and then we go into flowering. One watering with Overdrive

20 cm growth in one week! I am not even joking. This has to be the fastest that I have seen one of my plants grow. Pure genetics here. Beautiful.

Over the last two weeks the double Kush Cake Feminized has received a small dose of cal mag and amino fulvic and humic acid. She has recently been flushed and the e.c has been adjusted to her requirements. The bracts from the double kush cake have begun to swell. Her leaves have bleached slightly but not enough to impede her finish. She has completed her growth using the rest of her energy on bud structure with her stigmas beginning to fade. She now stands approximately 61cm from the soil.

6/17/24 she's winding down to the end(still a couple weeks) she's throwing out purple on the fan leaves. Thinking she may fade out nicely. 6/21 seeing some yellowing on the purple fading. Niiiice 👍

Got some nice fluorescence popping in the upper half of the plant. Top dressing a little (2tsp) 4-4-4 NPK, just for safety as some of the leaves are lightening in color. Probably too much water, but I will let her dry out too. Got a lot of great spears/cones developing.

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split.
