Before starting this final smoke review, I want to quickly apologize once again for the harvest report being uploaded on the previous flowering week instead of the official harvest tab.
GrowDiaries has been acting a little complicated lately with harvest and smoke review updates, and instead of risking losing photos or information again, I decided to play it safe and upload everything there. So all the harvest, drying and trimming photos are already available in the previous report for everyone who wants to check the full process visually. 🌱
With that said…
Welcome to the final chapter of this beautiful Amnesia Skunk journey. ✨
This report focuses mainly on the curing process, trimming philosophy, smoke review, aromas, preservation, and everything that happened AFTER harvest day.
Because honestly…
harvest is not the end.
It’s just the beginning of the flower becoming medicine.
After drying, every single bud was carefully hand trimmed, exactly like explained in the previous report.
No machines.
No shortcuts.
No aggressive trimming.
Just scissors, trim bins, patience, and intention.
Hand trimming is slower, yes.
But it preserves the integrity of the flower in a completely different way. The shape stays natural, the resin stays attached, the trichomes stay protected, and the flower keeps its personality instead of becoming overly processed.
Everything was saved.
The flowers.
The sugar leaf.
The trim-bin collection.
The resin from the scissors.
Even the finger hash that naturally builds up while trimming sticky flowers for hours.
And honestly… these girls were incredibly generous.
The trim-bin collection itself produced beautiful little resin balls full of aroma and character. Sticky, soft, fragrant, and surprisingly potent for something many people would simply throw away.
And now…
after months of curing…
we are finally smoking this beautiful medicine.
And wow.
This one is honestly difficult to explain properly.
The best way I can describe it is:
it feels like a sunset walk on the beach.
Warm.
Gentle.
Uplifting.
Comforting.
Peaceful.
Colorful.
She’s fruity.
She’s punchy.
She’s sweet.
She touches herbal notes without becoming earthy.
She’s fresh but deep at the same time.
It’s one of those profiles that somehow feels like everything and nothing simultaneously.
Nothing screams too loudly.
Nothing dominates.
Everything works together.
Both phenos ended up being surprisingly similar in terpene profile as well. Different plants, same soul.
And curing only made everything better.
The aromas did not disappear with time.
They intensified.
Every jar opening became louder, deeper, sweeter, smoother and more aromatic than before. The inhale became softer, the exhale became creamier, and the overall smoking experience became incredibly comfortable over time.
This is a long-lasting flower too.
Not only in terms of effect duration, but also in how long the flavor stays dancing in the mouth after exhaling.
The buds themselves stayed extremely dense and compact all the way through cure. Beautifully structured flowers with that satisfying weight and firmness you instantly notice when holding them.
One thing that genuinely surprised me during curing was comparing storage methods.
Part of the flower was cured traditionally in glass jars.
Another part was stored inside the Zamnesia metal vacuum curing containers that came with the setup.
And honestly… I noticed a difference.
The flower stored inside the vacuum container seemed to preserve aromas slightly better and felt more expressive when opening the container. The terpene profile felt a little louder, brighter and fresher compared to the traditional glass jars.
And that actually makes sense.
Oxygen is one of the biggest enemies of long-term terpene preservation. Vacuum-style storage reduces the amount of oxygen surrounding the flower, slowing oxidation and helping preserve volatile aromatic compounds for longer periods.
It doesn’t magically change the flower.
But it absolutely helps preserve what is already there.
And with a terpene profile like this one… preservation matters.
As for effects…
This is simply happy medicine.
Not chaotic.
Not overwhelming.
Not heavy.
Just… genuinely uplifting.
Clear.
Warm.
Positive.
Relaxed.
The kind of flower that makes you want to walk slowly near the ocean while the sun disappears in the distance.
Honestly, I could genuinely see this being a very comforting medicine for people struggling with sadness, low mood, emotional heaviness or difficult days. There’s something emotionally light about this cultivar that feels very welcoming and peaceful.
And comparing the cured flower to the charas and trim-bin resin was also extremely interesting.
The terpene profiles stayed very similar between them all, which was beautiful to notice. But the charas had this extra layer of freshness and brightness that almost felt “alive.”
Maybe because it came directly from fresh living material.
Maybe because of the way fresh resin expresses itself.
Maybe because charas simply carries a different soul.
Whatever the reason…
it was heavenly.
And now, as this diary finally comes to an end, I just want to send love and gratitude to everybody who was part of this journey.

Coming along nicely seems to take longer to bloom than most Autos maybe 11-13 weeks but looks like it will be worth it. Buds are gong to be many not sure how big they will be but looking like they will be huge.

Had a couple male parts pop up but buds are still swelling so im keeping a close eye . To far in to chop but not far enough to chop. Bag seed genetics probably are not strong ... o well ... buds are nice and should just be a couple more weeks left. Will probably flush in a 2 or 3 weeks . trichomes are cloudy mostly white haired pistils too

The smell of these 2 girls are amazing , smells like berries / fruit , and really fresh , I have trained them quite a lot so the flowering has delayed but the amount of bud sights are unbelievable and are all really starting to fatten , said it once and I’ll say it again , blackberry 420 fast buds best strain/seeds I have ran to date I have loved watching this plant grow and bloom into what she is now carnt wait for some more colour to come through

Excited and impatient, starting to come on really well now, everything is going ok as it has been all the way through other than a little struggle with keeping the heat down in the grow tent during the first few weeks in veg, bigger tent and all is ok now, small signs of nutrient burn of a feed this week but don't think anything to be worried about from other diaries i have seen. What do you think its going like so far? Any comments with feedback on how its looking or tips for me coming into my final weeks appreciated thanks,, Plant A is at 121cm tall Plant B is at 143cm tall

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin.
After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them.
In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day.
Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Used a thick moisture wrap plastic with UV protectors in its formula.

Salute, topman.
It is this bush that will be 160 grams, and all together with the neighboring ones - 780 grams of dry and 250 second-rate, although 1100-1250 was expected ...
Probably overkill with the far red 660nm booster (one of the bushes was super bubbly and airy, but gave only 100g when 300g was expected...).
In general, I try this beauty for the second time, the second time I am pleased, but this time with the most exquisite taste and smell.
To say I recommend is an understatement!

i started with LST. unfortunately the plant grew too fast in height, which doesn't make it any easier now. next week i'll try it with twine. maybe i should it just let it grow as it likes.

Swapped the whole nutrient solution to a fresh one. Finally getting some more purple and buds are developing fine. Plant uses around 2 liters of water per day. Just took a few more leafs away for deeper light penetration. Smell is intensifying. Ph around 5.6, 1050ppm

Nährstofflösung einmal komplett gegen frische ausgetauscht. Endlich werden die Blüten etwas mehr purple, entwickeln sich generell gut. Die Pflanze verbraucht ungefähr 2 l pro Tag. Ansonsten nur ein paar kleinere Blätter entfernt, um dem licht tieferes Eindringen zu ermöglichen. Der Geruch wird auf jeden Fall stärker. pH ca 5.6 und 1050ppm

🌿 Week 4 – Purple CousKush Auto #12 | Plant A
Taking the Lead | 8×8 Adventure
One tent.
One lighting schedule.
One feeding program.
The exact same environment.
Yet every single plant continues to write her own story.
That’s the beauty of this 8×8 Adventure and one of the main reasons I’ve chosen to document every phenotype individually. Growing from seed always brings surprises, and under the 12/12 From Seed experiment, those differences become even more fascinating.
This week, the spotlight belongs to Purple CousKush Auto #12 – Plant A.
While her sister (Plant B) is only just beginning to settle into pre-flowering, Plant A has already taken a noticeable step forward. Her structure has become more defined, the stretch has quietly begun, and those first flowering sites are now appearing all across the canopy.
She’s clearly telling me she’s ready for the next chapter.

🌱 The 8×8 Adventure Continues
Every week inside this room reminds me that no two plants ever read the same script.
Running twelve different cultivars together under a fixed 12-hour photoperiod has become an incredible learning experience. Some varieties rush toward reproduction almost immediately, while others prefer investing more time building branches before flowering.
Purple CousKush Plant A seems to have found a wonderful balance between the two.
She has built a compact yet well-structured canopy and is now confidently transitioning into bloom without sacrificing healthy vegetative growth.
Watching these individual personalities develop is what makes this project so rewarding.

🌿 Gentle guidance instead of heavy intervention
Training this week remained simple and intentional.
The majority of the work has consisted of leaf tucking, allowing larger fan leaves to be repositioned rather than removed. It’s amazing how much additional light can reach developing shoots simply by moving a leaf a few centimeters.
Alongside that, I’ve continued some very gentle Low Stress Training, encouraging the branches to spread naturally and create a more even canopy.
With autoflowers, I always try to let the plant lead the conversation.
Rather than forcing a particular shape, I simply guide the branches where they already want to grow, opening the structure without slowing her momentum.
Plant A has responded beautifully.
The side branches are now catching up, the center remains open, and new flowering sites are beginning to appear across almost every growing tip.

☀️ Beating the summer heat
Summer has definitely arrived here.
Keeping a grow room comfortable during these warmer weeks becomes a challenge all on its own, even with air conditioning running continuously.
Daytime temperatures have been reaching 33°C, while humidity has remained around 63%, creating conditions that demand constant monitoring and small environmental adjustments.
Fortunately, the plants continue responding extremely well.
Healthy green leaves.
Strong stems.
Excellent vigor.
No signs of nutrient stress or environmental fatigue.
Sometimes successful growing isn’t about having perfect numbers…
It’s about maintaining stability when nature refuses to cooperate.

💧 Week 4 Feeding
The nutrient program remains unchanged, providing everything the plants need as they transition into early flower.
Feed per litre
• Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L
• Power Roots — 1 ml/L
• Pure Zym — 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L
Solution parameters:
• EC: 1.35 mS/cm
• pH: 6.1
The combination continues producing exactly what I like to see—healthy colour, vigorous new growth, and a plant that’s asking for more light every single day.

🌸 First signs of flower
Plant A is now clearly ahead of her sister in development.
Pre-flower is becoming increasingly obvious, with fresh pistils emerging throughout the upper nodes and new growth beginning to take on that unmistakable early flowering appearance.
The stretch is only just beginning, but it’s already easy to imagine how this canopy will develop over the coming weeks.
The gentle LST performed earlier is paying off nicely, creating multiple future flowering tops instead of relying on one dominant main cola.
It’s still early…
But the foundations are there.
And they’re looking very promising.

🌱 Looking ahead
Over the next week I’m expecting Plant A to continue stretching while stacking more flowering sites throughout the canopy.
The goal remains exactly the same:
Maintain an open structure.
Keep every future bud site exposed to quality light.
Support healthy root development.
And simply let the plant express her genetics at her own pace.
One of the greatest lessons from this project has been learning not to compare plants against each other, but to appreciate each one for what she naturally wants to become.
Purple Kush Plant A is already showing plenty of character, and I have a feeling she’s only just getting started.

✋Wk12:Trichome Hunting and Changes in diet.
👉The week has shown to be not just the usual fun of having cannabis in the flowerings stage, but also the frustration of having cannabis in the flowering stage. The fun is the funky stank that hits me in the face as I open the tent each time, then gazing at the magical flowers as they get plumper and fuzzier. The frustration comes from the seemingly slow motion pace the plants are taking as I dream of harvest day.
👉The 3 gallon plant has reduced its volume of liquid it consumes. However, I have only slightly reduced the total volume of solution given each time. I have kept the EC around 1.3. The run-off has climbed quickly between fertigations, and I have done a couple of H2Only irrigations. The runoff EC spiked on the last day of this week. I did another H2Only irrigation followed by regular nutrients. I have seen issues on the upper leaves that could be nutrient related, or maybe light stress, perhaps its moody and hates me for not spending more time with it. I have been keeping the lights at around 17” from the top of the main cola. The lights driver is turned fully on (light is rated at 150W). Its counter intuitive to me that the light would be causing light stress since its only 150w. I would think a much more intense light would cause that or one kept a lot closer. So I have pulled the light to its max height. I may dial back the driver a tad. The buds are getting very bulky and are very dense. I hope they stay that way and not foxtail like its tent mate is doing.
👉The one gallon plant is starting to fade. Its larger leaves are mostly yellow. I take the yellow leaves when they begin to dry up. Some just fall off when touched. I’ve done some extensive trichome hunting and have only spotted only scant few ambers. Most are still clear, but there are lots of cloudy ones too. Very hard to differentiate if they are in the direct light of one of the grow lights (or any led light). The led light makes them all look cloudy, but indirect light shows most are still clear. I will continue checking each day for the status of the trichomes. I will harvest when almost all are cloudy with only a few clears remain. I have kept its solution volume at 1.5l at the low range EC of nutrient solution. I have also given a couple of H2Only irrigations to lower the EC runoff. The buds are sort of fox tailing but look very much like the breeders picture on the product page. The cola are long and getting bulky, but probably not very dense. They are super frosty and the calix’s are getting very large, much like the gorilla glue I grew was. The aroma of the funky stank is strong enough to be smelled outside (I vent outside). The up close smell is different than the tent smell…still creamy sweet caramel…so weird to me…I can’t wait to try it…in like 8 more weeks…sigh. I will harvest the plant when it says its ready. Almost there.😷

So this week I have started to flush the girls as its been 10 weeks now so after another 2 week of flush that's 12 weeks surely they have to be ready but the hairs are still pointing straight out and are still white which is abit weird as this strain is supposed to be a 8 week strain 🤔, Happy Times Happy Growing 😁 🌿
