Another grow week.
In the main tent, harvested all plants and the drying process has already begun.
In the veg tent, been mainly tending to solo cup waterings.

--- Since heat is still my weakest link with an average room temperature of 80-85°F, will continue to use VPD (1.3 kPa) to help to control drying for 10-14 days. This should keep humidity levels around 60-65% which is going to have to be good enough.
--- Plan to check daily and will adjust VPD levels as needed.
- [09:25]: Time to start the harvest.
--- Using a pair of scissors, cut the scrog strings and tried to remove all I could.
--- Then chopped and harvested all three plants.
--- Removed all plants and gently stacked them in a pile on top of flattened paper bags.
--- Then defoliated each plant one at a time (outside the tent) using a pair of trimmers.
--- Removed the large fan leaves.
--- Once defoliated, hung each plant upside-down in the tent.
--- Chill Out OG #2 and TKO #2 were able to be whole plant hung.
--- For Heady OG BX1 #1, had to break her down into several sections.

--- Will use the bowl trimmer for dry trimming later.
--- Once everything is fully dried, will do a final dry trim before placing and curing in glass mason jars.
--- Leaving the soil in the tent for drying.
--- Everything will hang with the oscillating fans left ON to circulate the air.
--- The bottom (6in) fan is set to a medium speed (5 out of 10) and pointed down towards the floor.
--- The top (9in) fan is set to a medium/high speed (8 out of 10) and pointed up towards the ceiling.

Might be heading for trouble, cut to half dose…. Looking through some other grow diaries and seeing most people feeding at about half or less of the recommended AN feed schedule. Other than a small cal mag def early, which was fixed very easily with 2 foliar sprays, this plant has done pretty good with full recommended dose, until this week!! Flushed 3 litres through at 1/4 dose nutes full 2ml/L-cal/mag then started a half dose week 3 flower sched. If probelms persist then I will flush again and try 1/4 dose.
Added humidifier back into room to keep humidity at 55
Removed net and defoliated, moved her room mate to my closet to give her light and space for the final weeks coming up.
Further investigation and troubleshooting has me thinking she may actually be into a potassium deficiency, the odd thing about that is the AN nutes I am running suggest using “big bud” as an enhancer supplement. The strange part is that my lowered nute concentration still included a full dose of both “big bud” and “bud candy”. I was not willing to forfeit the benefits of those two supplements over the base nutes in this recipe. So. This week I will feed at %50 base nutes and full supplements of cal/mag and Bud Candy but will up my Big Bud a smidge and maybe another smidge more if combined efforts of revised nutes and extra space/air/light dont achieve desired results. I am also planning a fairly heavy defoliation, maybe end of week if she bounces back enough.
A generous amount of frost starting to show, I will pull the microlense out for some trichome development pictures this week.
Limping into the finish line it looks like. But She will be harvested. Heading into coast mode for now, just gonna ride her out and see what happens. There will be some bud there to be proud of.

12/8 Soil still damp from last water, nutrients today or tomorrow, bottom leaves are yellowing, trichomes are forming on colas.
12/10 Fed nutrients today she got enough water for runoff, top inch soil was dry and she just looked hungry as hell, looking to defoilate the yellow leaves pictured, 26 inches today, top cola is 5 inches from light other colas are at least 10 inches from light, now i know why people LST!!! Next grow for sure. seeing some yellow tips on the top fan leaves.. nothing major, but understandably so.
12/13 watered today not too much but top soil was dry, more defoliation of yellow fan leaves, temps and humidity are back up, she smells like skunk so far, hard to describe, definitely getting chunky and filling up the main cola👍
12/14 high humidity 90%, leaves are looking glossy, more defoliation of bottom fan leaves

Loved it all from the start! Could see from the rqs pot it thrived and the organic nutrients made it so much more alive! I mean I had little effort in her just had to water and add boost and I did that every fortnight! I’m so for organic now may try a one part solution next! Glad of the weights had so many nice dense buds on her and the initial taste was sweet and fruity and that’s before a full cure! Royal queen seeds deserve there place on the map 1 million percent

Esa familia, volvemos con nuestras Lemon kush, una cepa fantástica, la que se pueden preparar buenos cultivos desde semilla aprovechando tu espacio por metro cuadrado a 4x4plantas= 16 plantas por metro cuadrado. Llamarlo SOG aún que comencéis con semilla.
(LO RECOMIENDO) por que estos ejemplares no sacan brazos y la verdad que son agradables ver Ramotes centrales llenos de cogollos compactos de arriba a abajo,jurao.
Flores con olores cítricos que recuerdan al limón y no dudo de que sea realmente ese sabor, en el pasado ya e visto cultivar esta cepa y la verdad que el Breeder que me mostró plantas y flores , al fumarla sabía mucho a limón 🙏.
@zambezaseeds , es un banco que nos ofrece gran variedad de semillas, y pronto prepararemos otro proyecto con más geneticas.

Day 44 – Steady March into Flowering
The journey continues! Although the weather remains inconsistent — with chilly mornings, bursts of afternoon sun, and cold nights — this lady refuses to be held back. She’s thriving confidently in her super soil blend, nourished solely with pH-balanced tap water, and showing no signs of slowing down.

This lady continues to prove that sometimes, less is truly more.
I’ve kept things as simple and natural as possible — no synthetic nutrients, no grow tents, no artificial stimulation. Just clean, pH-balanced tap water and a super soil blend I mixed myself months ago. The result? So, I start the harvest last week, but didn't get time to post here, first were the top bud, and this week I got the rest of the plant, it is a good strategy as the lower buds could develop a little more!
Amazing growth! I am very happy with the wield, it was my 3 growth at all and my first LST! Great results!

Buds were delicious and very heavy high! Definitely night time gear. Beautiful aroma and tastes of fruit loops.
Pretty sure I topped this plant. Won't be doing that again as I've had better success with light lst.

Howdy growfessors, thanks for stopping by. It's harvest time for Candy Kush. Dense, frosty buds, they foxtailed, which I did not expect under the FC3000 light. Still I'm super happy with the grow and I'm excited to see the dry weight in 7 days.

Ended up cutting all of the front left plant this week and majority of the back two plants. Guna let the lowers get some light for a few more days. Really noticing all the tiny ass buds. Hopefully I'll make something out of them. First run with a net and I just left way too many branches/bud sites for this size of plants they were. Buds look good though. Flushing last plant and will be cutting in a few days.

Flowering week 9 report:

Okay guys i am on the final stretch! I have carefully examined pistils and noticed that all of the plants have more than 70% darkened and curled pistils. Also, i did some microscope check on the trichomes are they are all milk and cloudy. This week i will administer nutrients for the last time, then i will do 5-7 days flush with plain ph-ed water. That being said, i guess i will be harvesting these beauties in no more than 10 days from now on. During the day the HPS and the strong ventilation are drying the air good enough, and during the night i turn on dehumidifier, so the RH stays low 24/7.

Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques are with a bit of LST.
She has been in bloom for two days, these days we consider them vegetative and from the next we will narrate the deeds of the buds that form.

Letzte Tage vor dem Chop – Flieder-Terps & milchige Trichome 🌸👀

Jetzt wirklich die letzten Meter im Double Run. Viel passiert nicht mehr – außer dass beide Ladies sichtbar auslaugen und immer zerlotterter wirken. Genau das, was man sehen will: sie ziehen jetzt konsequent die letzten Reserven aus den Blättern.
Die White Gushers 33 braucht weiterhin Geduld, während die Triangle Sherbet Kush schon fast komplett milchig ist – kaum noch klare Trichome zu sehen. Reif ist sie definitiv, aber ich gebe beiden noch ein paar Tage extra, um den Sweet Spot sauber mitzunehmen.
Beim Öffnen des Zelts kommt jetzt ganz klar eine florale Fliedernote durch – richtig angenehm und deutlich wahrnehmbar. Das Ganze geht in eine fruchtige, leicht süßliche Flieder-Richtung, sehr rund und schon jetzt ziemlich ausgeprägt.
Seit einer Woche gibt es nur noch Wasser. Trotzdem trinken beide noch erstaunlich gut weiter – läuft also sauber bis zum Ende durch.
Draußen wird’s langsam frühlingshaft, VPD deutlich entspannter – aktuell eher nebensächlich, aber zumindest keine kritische Feuchtigkeit mehr.
Was mich etwas fuchst: die White Gushers 33 schiebt auf eigentlich fertigen Buds noch diese kleinen Türmchen. Nicht ideal, aber jetzt auch nichts mehr, was man noch beeinflussen kann.
Ich gebe ihnen noch 3–4 Tage, maximal 5 – dann ist Schluss. ?

Im Zuge meiner Frage zur Dark Period vor der Ernte wollte ich das Ganze hier nochmal zusammenfassen:

Es war wirklich interessant, die unterschiedlichen Meinungen zu sehen. Die meisten Grower sind sich einig, dass die Ernte am Morgen vor dem Einschalten des Lichts im normalen Zyklus der gängigste Weg ist.
Einige setzen weiterhin auf eine 24–48-stündige Dunkelphase, während andere diese für unnötig halten und den natürlichen Rhythmus der Pflanze nicht unterbrechen wollen.
Am Ende scheint es so zu sein, dass der richtige Reifegrad und das Timing wichtiger sind als eine abschließende Dunkelphase.
Ich schätze die vielen Erfahrungswerte hier sehr – richtig wertvoller Input!

📅 Flower Day 73 | Day 133 Total
Now it’s really the final stretch. Not much is happening anymore – except both ladies clearly fading and looking more worn out by the day. Exactly what you want to see: they’re pulling every last bit of nutrients from the leaves.
The White Gushers 33 still needs a bit more patience, while the Triangle Sherbet Kush is already almost fully cloudy – barely any clear trichomes left. Definitely in the harvest window, but I’ll give them a few more days to really hit that sweet spot.
When opening the tent now, a very clear floral lilac note comes through – super pleasant and quite pronounced. It leans towards a fruity, slightly sweet lilac profile, already very round and well developed.
For about a week now, they’ve only been getting plain water. Interestingly, both are still drinking quite well – smooth finish so far.
Spring is slowly kicking in outside, VPD is getting more stable – not very relevant at this stage anymore, but at least no excessive humidity.
One thing that bugs me a bit: the White Gushers 33 is throwing small foxtails on already finished buds. Not ideal, but nothing you can really influence at this stage.
I’ll give them another 3–4 days, max 5 – then it’s chop time. ?

Really interesting to see the different opinions here. Most growers seem to agree that harvesting in the morning before lights turn on during the normal cycle is the most common approach.
Some still like to add a 24–48h dark period, while others consider it unnecessary and prefer not to interrupt the plant’s rhythm.
In the end it seems that proper ripeness and timing matters more than the final dark period itself.
