4/7 Day 31 (AM) - Things have been going relatively well over the last several days, with the exception of the one plant that has been unhappy throughout the grow. I did some light pruning to remove brown/dying fan leaves from the struggling plant but have otherwise been focused on tucking leaves under future bud sites, and keeping an eye on the two that were topped late in week 4, both of which are sending out new shoots. All seem to want nutrients now. I've been very light-handed with the nutrients but started giving them small amounts at least every other watering. At week five it feels like a lot of things are on autopilot now, just normal maintenance like topping off the humidifier and occasionally poking my head in to check on things. Glad I didn't abandon the sickly plant. New growth looks healthy, and it just might pull through. Update (4/8- Day 32 AM): Feeding was very well received by all plants. It's taking some getting used to. I tend to use very little in the way of fertilizer (have read too many horror stories). Still, these guys are showing signs of being hungry on a regular basis, and their daily uptake of water is considerably more than when I started. For the time being, I have been using about 50% of the recommended amount of FF Grow Big, close to a normal recommended amount of CalMag, and about 50% of the recommended amount of P-K (due to deficiencies noted in some leaf margins). I've been testing the runoff and it's coming out between 6.5-6.6 consistently. No signs of drooping or overwatering. Right now, they appear to be happy if watered about every other day, and they're taking on about 1/2 gallon each pretty consistently. Next time I'll probably use nothing but pH adjusted water, just to avoid nutrient build-up.

Managed to pull exactly 4oz off my first ever grow! Really impressed with the look of the buds and the density of them, along with the resin production is insane! Only negative feedback I can give so far is that it smells nothing like any Mimosa I've come across and it smells extremely strong like an intense citrusy cleaning product! It's really off-putting at this moment in time especially when I burp the jars, the smell is very intense! I read a few threads mentioning that sometimes this is normal and the cure mellows it out eventually. I also read that Clementine has a very intense cleaning product exhale to it and aroma, which is leading me to think that this pheno is leaning more towards the Clementine more than the Purple Punch and that will really make me sad, cause the reason I love Mimosa is cause of the strong berries flavor and aroma! Oh well I managed to pull 3 seeds out while doing a close trim so that's a bonus! Was a goal I was aiming for after hearing about a method from a friend and it paid off perfect cause those were the only 3 seeds in the whole crop and they look exactly identical to the one I germinated for this grow and the rest of the others in the pack! Lets hope they all turn out to be females!🤞 Well it's been a hell of an experience and I'll definitely be back with another run very soon! Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. Transition to flowering over the past week. Lights are now 12-12 and stretching has started. The one that i think is Green Gelato (#1) is stretching most, just like last time. The Gorilla has a slightly different leaf shape to last time. It was more indica style, but now looks hybrid. Both looking very healthy imo. #3 was overwatered. Gave it the same as the other two despite it being smaller, and this is what happens lol. There is damage on some of the leaves. it looks like a deficiency of something, but i reckon its from the fan as its only affected directly in front of the fan. Temps are much better with the QB, i hope i will get the same amount of bud as the 250W HPS!!

Really great week for these girls! I'm very happy with the amount of early flower stretch I got out of the 2 larger girls. While the 'Little One' won't amount to much, the other 2 I'm really excited for the finish. I made a short video this morning to give ya'll a closer look. They got one feeding consisting of the Hydrolyzed Fish/Rose&Flowering/Molasses and then another feeding of just the Fish/Flowering this week.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

So she 'only' grew 3cm this week. That's not bad considering what she looked like a week ago!! 😭 She's pushed out a lot of new green growth this week. I hope she's also building a strong root system below ground. 💪
