📋 The Lemonpaya was a good plant to grow, im gutted about the start of bud rot, it was only a tiny bit, 3 buds tightly packed together and it was were all 3 buds touched each other. So i removed more then i needed to of decent buds just being cautious. I should have chopped the tops a good week before i did because they were ready, and i may have gotten away without mold, and the lowers would have benefited with the extra light. After 2 weeks drying I put the buds into terplock bags, never used these bags before so I'm hoping everything works out. Stats for the GDG21 Truffle gas. Dry decent buds 94g Dry larfy buds 4g Lemonpaya Dry decent buds 62g Dry larfy buds 8g Trashed buds 21g Total decent buds=156g Total larf=12g Removed because of rot 21g Hash=7g Total=163g Light power=217.11 KW during the 115 days of the grow. 18hrs for 35 days=630hrs, 16hrs for 7 days=112, 12hrs for 70 days=840hrs. Total hours lights on=1582hrs Average watt per hour lights on=137w 1.18g/w 📋 Smoke report. This isn't what I expected at all the, I'm not a fan of lemon strains but this one only has a very slight lemony taste. Better then I was expecting. Take it easy. Back soon.

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. Week 10, 3/5/2020 - 10/5/2020, as you can see she almost has overtaken the tent, she is 1 meter high now, and I think now she 's into full flowering mode. Buds are already glittery and cant wait to see them swell. Her scent is spices and a bit of a diesel.

I used a macro lens from a fish eye kit you can buy for any phone to make that macro video, i highly recommend them it’s so easy to see when i can harvest , these are also very cheap but you do need a steady hand haha. I smoked some smaller buds about a week after harvest & it already tastes amazing almost like a reaalllyy sweet banana haha & the burn is good also i was suprised it was smokeable so fast. Fat banana is one of my favourite strains from now on! I also had 1 Sour Diesel in the tent but i’m still curing that one

Beautiful progress with this girl. Can't really tell from pics, but some of her fan leaves are turning a purple tint, like her sugar leaves. Been feeding max strength compost tea with every watering, and she really enjoys it so far. Also, a little update on the clones I plucked from her a few weeks back. 6 of them successfully rooted, and now I'm hardening them off in the veg tent. 1 is already progressing onto vegetative growth. So her legacy continues :) Update 01/27/22: Her lower leaves are beginning to yellow and i see a nice mauve color spreading onto the fan leaves. I don't believe the leaves yellowing are a result of a deficiency or anything bad. She drinks at a fast rate, prays upwards first thing in the morning, and continues to stack her buds at a solid pace. And shes getting plenty of phosphorous, potassium and a bit of nitrogen as well. Shes getting fed blackstrap molasses with every feeding, which has a lot of calcium and magnesium. So after considering all of that, I think she'll just chug right along. As it's more likely just how this strain is. I remember my first run having a rather light-toned leaf coloration. Anyways, im starting to get a slight whiff of that infamous "purps" smell when I open the tent. It'll be hard to keep my head out of the tent come week 5, because I remember this strain being such a beauty. And I think I'm doing a better job with this run than my first. So I'm super stoked for the weeks to come. Cheers everyone 👍🏾

11/08 - I have never had a plant with more trichomes on it... I defoliated a couple of days ago and it was akin to doing a wet trim - fingers and scissors were all sticky! @SwissKush told me it would be filled with resin but not even that warning prepared me for this! Just amazing... Her buds are bulking up and I'm just in awe... just in awe... 11/10 - changed out her reservoir yesterday and was very interested to note that her root system is about half of what my #2's is... which only makes sense given the abuse I showered on this lady at the beginning of her life. One result of that is a far more compact plant ... but damn is she frosty! She's looking good, happy with her new and elevated nutes.... all's well! 11/12 - Happy as a clam, buds are all bulking up and everything is frosty... Still have plenty of weeks (4?) to go. 11/14 - Have had a houseguest for the last couple of days... while I love some company once in a while, it really interferes with my daily routine so I've missed a few of the daily photos. She's doing well and just keeps getting frostier and frostier!

Harvested them on 10/4, washed them and hung them to dry for 4 days, then alternated them in brown paper bags and big jars for a few days until perfect. Final thoughts: Like most sativas I've grown, those biggass colas were kinda fluffy and shrunk up pretty bad once dry, but it's super frosty, tasty, and smells delicious as well. It was very easy to grow, but a pain to trim...too leafy. No deficiencies at all with normal feed, and they bulked up really well in the last two weeks. They are thirsty girls because they have a lot of foliage. They can withstand being less than a foot from quantum boards for their final week or two without burning up too much. I don't like that it took this strain almost two weeks longer than the others, but a good sativa usually takes quite a while longer than these did. Done with week 10 and I actually thought that I will be able to send her into darkness for some days today before harvest. But despite very thick buds she still has no amber trichomes yet. I’m gonna give her three more days with light followed by three days of darkness. After that I have to harvest her because I’m going on a trip for some days. Fingers crossed for this beauty! I’m very excited what the scale will say in the end because those buds look heavy…

Buds are packing on weight pretty good for only being at the end of week 3. I think these buds have potential to get some good size to them by the end of flowering period. I noticed a few days ago my timer stopped working, lights were stuck on. Looks like there's no ill effects yet though despite worrying about them revegging if they were left on for too long. Noticed leaf tips are all nute burned so they are at their maximum for ppm as far as nutrient uptake is concerned. Going to back the ppm off by 250 in the next feeds and continue to observe the leaf tips. Plants are still recovering from a nute lockout that caused a mg deficiency and took away a lot of bottom growth from all 4 plants. Ph is back on track and plants are growing rapidly again.
