Going to do some dark time before the flip. Should boost the phytochrome A before starting the 12/12 schedule. Opened up some new growth with the stress clips. Time to flower for my first time! I’m very excited to learn this stage! Any comments please add thanks all!

Hi all đŸ€— Everything grows very well and healthy 😇 The stragglers were repotted this week. I also have to give the grown-ups at least 3-4 weeks vegi, because there is still no space in the bloom chamber 😂 But it gets exciting too, 5 topping bushes and 6 normal ones, unfortunately I can't top the 6 normal ones because of space constraints 🙈. If you have any questions please ask ;-) otherwise all the best for everyone and let it grow 😎

2/20/22 I think I have everything dialed in for the most part. Trying to make sure this living soil is staying wet without water the plants too much. Think I need to up it a little, soil in certain areas is drying out much faster than others due to the light mostly. Lowered my light to 18" I felt deep down, maybe 5-6inches, the soil was dusty dusty dry. I am now actually watering half a gallon to each container around the outside with my garden sprayer. I make sure to get the top inch wet with a mist and then glob some water in there w/o sprayer nozzle 💩💩💩 2/21/22 noticed curling on bottom leaves. Did not change anything 2/22/22 noticing more curling, the beginnings of curling maybe on the second set of leaves 😕? I dropped the fan from speed 5 to speed 2 to hopefully raise the humidity. It's working and is now at a comfortable 57%. Not ideal but much better than 42% for veg 😅 2/23/22 noticing curling on all 4 plants on both the first true leaf sets and second (1 leaf and 3 leaves ea). I moved the light to 24", which is 33% further away and according to my $40 lumen meter, about a 28% reduction in visible light FWIW. Finally put up a little oscillating fan setup on a rudimentary iPad music-stand mount. It's loud as hell, need to look into a quieter fan lol 😆

Going to run 6 different fast buds strains this time.Dropped the seeds in the water and now a wait for the tap roots. One of the seeds is from Papaya cookies last run I found a single perfect seed and hopefully she grows as strong like the plant she come from :). Germinated all seeds in RO water at room temps for 24 hours and gave a little tap with a spoon and they fell to the bottom.I left them in the dark in water for 48 hours total and placed them in a warm wet paper towel in a sealed container for 24 hours. The seeds all developed nice tap roots 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch long and I planted in 5 gal pots.Using a 3 inch layer of fox farm ocean forest on the bottom and the top layer is Pro Mix.

160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

What's up, GrowDiaries fam! 💚 Welcome back to another update! 🚀 She is well into the flowering stage now and putting on a beautiful show! As you can see in the pictures, she's staying relatively compact in her smaller pot but making absolute the most of it. 🌿 Development & Structure: Look at those beautiful white pistils standing straight up! ❄ The bud sites are really starting to stack and multiply at every node. I’ve still got her tied down with the green garden wire around the rim of the pot this LST has been crucial for keeping her canopy opened up so the light can penetrate deep down to those lower branches. She’s got a great, bushy structure going! Update: the run off with crazy hight 8900ppm ?☠ she was basically in salty sea, I had to water them with just water until the run off went down to 800. 💧 Nutrient & Water Log: She is eating and drinking at a great pace right now. The foliage is a mostly deep, rich green. We do have some red/purple stems showing up and a tiny bit of yellowing/spotting on a couple of the older lower fan leaves, but nothing major to stress over. I'm just keeping her dialed in, making sure the pH is on point so she can focus all her energy on fattening up those buds! đŸœïžđŸ’Ș â›ș Environment & Health: Overall health is solid and she is loving the tent conditions. Airflow is great, and she’s starting to produce that lovely, sweet sticky aroma. Plus, I’ve got the trusty tattooed Kewpie dolls keeping a close watch over her from the shelf in the background! đŸ‘¶đŸ‘€ You can see she's sharing the space with a younger sibling in the back, but she is definitely the star of the show right now. Can't wait to watch these colas really start to swell and get frosty over the next couple of weeks. Let me know what you guys think in the comments! Happy growing and stay frosty! đŸŒČđŸ”„

Oct 5: Bruce is doing great. I was getting worried she wouldn’t finish in time but she’s picked up the pace and the weather is still good. Sort of. Hitting zero tonight and high of +3 C tomorrow. After that it’s sunny for two weeks with highs near 20 C. She’s turned purple the last few days and is putting on weight. 👍👍 She also broke a limb when blown over (again). Removing big fan leaves that are shading bud sites. Oct 6: she’s beautiful. Removed some large fan leaves that were shading bud. Feels weirdly warm tonight. Still using the 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk as a bloom booster. Now down to just over 11 h of daylight. Oct 10: looking good this morning. Oct 11: been removing fan leaves to get as much light on the buds as possible. Sunlight is weak and low to the horizon but this month continues being unseasonably warm. We’re usually getting quite hard frosts by now but the forecast is warm for another two weeks. Some nice purple showing from the lowish overnight temps though. I just checked, and yes, it has been “extremely hot” again for the last 30 days.

Chop day is officially here! By the end of Week 16, I decided to pull the trigger. The trichomes were mostly cloudy with a few ambers popping up here and there. While I could have let her go another week, my personal schedule made this the perfect time to harvest. I also had a new toy in the garden today: a Vevor bowl trimmer. I used it for the small and medium-sized buds while hand-trimming the 'top shelf' colas. Honestly? I’m blown away. It’s not as surgical as a manual trim, but the time-saving is a total game-changer. The Stats: - Wet weight: 544g Next step: Into the Dryfermbags for about a week until the limited amount (due to German law) is ready for the jar. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this grow. No issues, no drama—this strain was an absolute breeze to grow and performed like a champ. Now, I just need to nail the drying and curing phase! P.S. Need some cleaning advice! Cleaning the Vevor trimmer (especially the grate) is a nightmare. I’ve been using ISO and a cloth, but it’s still a struggle to get all that resin off. If anyone has a pro-tip or a better method for cleaning these machines, please let me know in the comments!"

Entering pre-flowering. Calix and pistils appear, beginning of alternating growth, very stretchy. PK has grown a lot and well, the training made her very bushy, as I wanted it to be. A dozen of beautiful branches now have space to form beautiful buds. From now on I will let the main cola grow and stop to bend the main stem. Still no need 4 feed.
