🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The ladies are stacking hard and smelling insane. The nicest pheno has some amazing bud structure with big icy buds and perfect node spacing. Smells like fresh zoap, sweet, fruity, gassy and parfume/soap-like. Incredible. She is by far the biggest plant, which is nice as she looks like the most productive one. My second favorite is looking beautiful. The structure on her is not so great and looks like a small producer. Very nice fruity/candy terps though, and incredibly icy. The stretchy tall pheno is looking great too. She smells more like a mix of #1 & #2, very icy as well. She stretched a lot so the top buds are very close to the light, and very foxtaily. The buds at 40-70 cm distance are looking more compact and dense. The least favo pheno looks very weird and small, bud the buds are pretty icy and smell very sweet.

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that! Day 79 Jeez plz stop growing in height!! After this shaky video i raised the leds 10 cm, now i'm for real out of space.. I'm adding 10 to 12 liters every day, alternating ro with only silica one day and the other with nutrients. Day 81 Way too much leaves in the lower part of the plants but i really don't want to stress them more than the temperature is already doing (29.3C measured in the upper canopy at 5 cm from the leds). Luckily i've got a lot of airflow, 3 filtered exhaust and 1 huge intake to remove almost the humidity. Despite it all they are pretty healty, no visible burning signs.

she is still branching, so i realized she needed ore space and put her out in a larger 4x4 tent as compare to the orignal 2'x2'. the tent has more cmlights then the single one in the smaller tent - this made the girl start to uptake nutrients such that there is very little drained to waste. i also put a screen to start scroging over her. the screen has large holes, so i think it may require high stress training to move the stems to the next section without breaking them. the data from grow rooms sensors etc gets overwhelming quickly and i can't really keep up. so i created a graphical animation visualizing for the composite garden data from the live garden sensor data. this is fun as things on the dashboard change colors and shape based on the sensor status. it is also interactive as i can also send commands to say control the lights, pump by clicking on them on the animation. . i am still using my doser to mix nutrients and then refill this garden manually. besides the plant response to the increased lighting , all other conditions i can adjust are still similar.

I use clear cups to see when the roots are hitting the side wall so I know when to transplant. (Cups are inside another dark cup so no light hits the root zone) They were pretty well rooted up by day 9 and I was able to transplant into my 5 gallon AC Infinity Fabric Pot. Still going super light on the nutrient mix because the soil is mixed well with additives. When I transplanted I was sure to hit the root zone throughly with Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular and Great White. Soil mix: 25% Fox Farm Happy Frog 25% Worm Castings 25% Fox Farm Ocean Forest 25% Peralite 1/4 cup of Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular mixed into soil. This little plant is now 100% into this soil blend and hopefully starts to explode! That’s why I’m going so light on my feedings.

Buds get denser everyday, love em. From next watering (W13 D3) I will start providing blackstrap molasses in every feed.

It was quick to see the second pair of leaves! The stalk of the seedling is a bit thin.. waiting for it to thicken up. Using 60W lights

Transplanted to 5 gallon pots half way through the week and heavily watered/fed for the next 2 days, then topped for the first time yesterday. The 3rd clone didn't make the cut and is now on my windowsill. Next couple of weeks will be about keeping the plants trained and the same height. 2 timelapses this week. Enjoy!

Cherry cola,the one we thought was gonna be a runt turned out to have the fattest,tightest,most dense buds. The bud structure on her is absolutely amazing,the aroma she leaves on your fingers is out of this world and honestly she will be one that hits the tent again. She may of been smaller but that’s only because we thought she wasn’t gonna make it giving she had issues in the first couple weeks. But she bounced back and thrived the entire grow! Highly recommend this strain to any home grower that wants a nice plant with even better bud structure 🔥 she’s definitely a keeper!
