This week I flipped the photoperiod to 12/12 since the scrog net was already filled. I also performed a selective defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow through the canopy. The LED power was increased by 10%, and it’s currently running at around 500 PPFD to support the transition into flower 💡🌸 Now it’s time to let her stretch and see how she responds during the first weeks of flowering 💪🌿

Day 71 - she is a monster a. the buds continue to swell larger b. the smells inside the box are of baked cakes and fruit, really amazing smell c. will be increasing the bloom nutrients very hard this week with more FloraBloom. d. I am hoping to have purple buds when we are finished! Day 72 - growing strong a. the buds are growing every day b. the smell is unreal, the oil production is very high, the buds are covered in oil c. added 5L to the DWC of stronger flowering blend, we are at 1240ppm in the DWC d. applied light LST to 2 of the front colas to allow light to hit the smaller buds a bit Day 73 - growth explosion a. exponential growth everywhere, buds are getting very fat. b. not a single hair is turning orange!!!! we are so excited for the long life of this auto, the longer the life the longer the effects. c. the plant is starting to eat the nitrogen out of some of the leaves. Day 74 - buds just keep growing a. added 5L of heavy flowering blend to the DWC b. smells like berry cake Day 75 - exploding a. lightly tied the massive buds back a little to get the little spots more light b. the oil and resin production are very high Day 76 - exploding again a. the buds are just growing huge, the main is insanely large b. we are starting to get our first signs of minor nitrogen deficiency!!!! YES! Day 77 - let the ripening begin! a. switching over to Ripen+Pro Bloom next week, these buds will explode!

Have 6 in the ground FB seeds in the ground only 1 kosher. The 2 Strawberry Gorillas are still not there with germination. Have started these on the 3 nutes above. These are best known as Voodoo Juice, tarantula and Piranha. These versions are from the ppl who hold the pattens and make a lot of ANs formulas. They have just improved upon most of the AN line up but they kept these the same. As they are tried and tested. Going to be running this lady on the full 19 Terra Power Line up. You can check these out on led-grower.eu/terra-power/ and read up on them for yourself. I'll be adding what's in them as for these 3 if you are interested look up Voodoo, T&P. Hopefully soon you'll be able to click on them and look em up when they join GD in the next wk or so. Happy with how the nutrients are holding a stable PH at 6 and these aren't even their PH perfect nutrients. So no PH - + needed. Sprayed each plant expect 1 gorilla zkittlez, for that 1 I used ANs line. These recommend 1ml/l for seedlings, AN I used 1.5ml/L. I use to use 2ml/L but they are seedlings so it's enough. Just a waiting game now. Will update as soon as these ladies start a popping. I laid a damp towel around the pots hopefully it'll up the RH. (Don't soak the towel it needs to be able to dry easily and in turn increase RH) Sprayed each 5 plants with this line up to start them off. As soon as leafs show I'll start them on a very very light feed. Will feed again in 2 days with the same mix. Another 100ml 1ml/l of each 3ml/l total 627ppm 6ph 21c temp. Have the smart intake fan at no 4 on 100% of the time. If I can't get desired RH after a day or 2 I'll turn the intake fan on 20/20 on/off and it'll make the RH be above 70% by doing this alone in a small space like 70x70. I really don't think I'm gonna have an Issue with low RH, but I have a feeling I'm gonna pay to have a low RH environment. 30/4/22 VD1. Have started her on jungle juice trio and a mix of terra Power enzymes and all there bud/resin enhancers will be used in conjunction with half strength recommend jungle juice dose. The feed is so low I've made up a 1l mix and that will do this and the 2 banana purple punches also. And I'll move that up to 1ml/L x3 of the jungle juice products next week. But for this week what's up above will be given every 2 days or when needed. 1/5/22 Slow growth on VD2. She's the runt most are reaching 2.5cm 3+ nearly on 2. Let's see what happens she's out of the ground and showing fan leafs, yday she had a crusty head. So all in all, going well. 6-8 FB seeds are up and thriving. 2/5/22 She's picked up fine. Got some height to her. Will continue the same course and watch her grow. Will update once more on on size and daily pics. 4_5_22 All Jungle juice&Terra Power grows are showing deficiency signs. I'm going to push up the EC this week I think. I do not want to stall them but I really think EC will be high in jungle juice because of the micro it has SO MANY TRACE nutrients it's crazy and it sends the EC sky high but there's so much of little bits of this and that I really think it can handle a higher EC. I'm going to 2x it or up it by a 1/3 for their watering 2moro as they were only fed yday. I've added biobizz calmag to help as my tap water is lacking cal mag when it comes into summer or so it stays on our water reports. It drops by 20%. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. Same Day. Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% And it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much Thanks for reading, this will be it as for updates for this week other than her final 7th wk day. Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. This is the first week of the plants being above soil, we did lose one but we are germinating another to replace that. I think the one we lost was due to heat stress, the others are holding up pretty well, there is another one that showed signs of heat stress, we just moved it a little deeper in the tent and it seems to be doing okay.

This week nothing changed except for growth. This is the last week in Veg.

She has developed perfectly up to now 👍. It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days. Until then, she still has enough time to use up all her nutrients. The trichomes are already 60% milky, 30% clear and 10% amber. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each. As always, the tent was cleaned and everything checked. Have fun with the update. Well, Well, it has been a fun and informative run with these ladies. The smell is an extremely pungent fruity rotten pineapple.... it is amazing. Plant 1 and Plant 2 couldn't have been more different, but the smell is the same on them. I am really looking forward to a slow dry and slow cure on these. I am going to let them run out a few more days and see if there is any more fattening and monitor the trichomes. Thanks all! It was my first time ever growing a weedplant, loved doing! Surprised me to see how fast these plants change in a day time, fascanating! Happy with the outcome for a first time, on to the next!

On Day 97, day 52 since the switch to 12-12, she is doing fine and continues to fattening up and put on weight. Not much to do but wait at this point. I'll start looking at trichomes soon.
