Week 1 January - 7 january 6/1 feeding day

Flowering and the stretch phase have officially begun, and the canopy remains very even thanks to the earlier training. The first buds are forming nicely, and the plant looks vigorous overall. There is still some minor pest damage on a few fan leaves, but it remains healthy and is developing exactly as expected.

In this dairy I will be growing two, Critical + 2.0 photoperiod plants alongside 4 others (see other dairies) using the methods of Topping, Low Stress Training, ScrOG and slight defoliation under the screen. I am growing in a 4x4 area and will be using a 250W MH, 400W & 600W HPS over the grow period. The other 4 plants will be grown using the same technique and environment, I am just splitting the dairies into separate strains as recommended by GrowDairies. The seeds were placed directly into solo cups that were pre-soaked with plan, pH'd water overnight beforehand. After three days all seedlings had emerged, and I placed them in the shadow of my other plants currently being grown for three more days. After this I transplanted them directly into the 11L pots that they will be in until harvest (see photos). I will be growing the plants until the are roughly 6 weeks old or 1m tall, whichever comes first. I will be bending them and keeping the branches low to build an even canopy, so this time period could change. All of the seedlings are being grown in BioBizz all-mix soil, so I will not be using nutrients either for the first 1-2 weeks. Any questions or recommendations, please let me know! Thanks :)

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Hoy me han hecho un riego muy sabroso y nutritivo con un bio preparado de frutas y minerales con Microorganismos Eficientes (MMA, BAL, vitaminas, aminoácidos, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, B, Si...) al 1,5%, aderezado con un 1% de Humato de leonardita PK y endulzado con un poco de melaza... PH: 6,62, EC: 1.35. 1000ml. 05/04/21 He consumido mi último riego, mi cultivador parece satisfecho conmigo, dice que el color obscuro y la salud de mis hojas es especial, pues se diferencian mucho de las de mis compañeras de carpa, a pesar de que comemos muchas veces lo mismo. Aunque todavía tengo las hojas manchadas del rociado con azufre de la semana pasada, ya no me importa, porque ha hecho desaparecer el oidio y las arañas, y poco a poco se irán limpiando, además, mis hojas no han vuelto a mostrar síntomas de carencias o excesos de nutrientes. Hoy mi cultivador me ha hecho un riego suave sólo con agua y un poco de melaza, que me ayudará a asimilar los nutrientes que se han quedado en mi sustrato de riegos anteriores. PH: 6.53. EC: 0.55. 900ml. Mi jardinero nos pide continuamente que le sonriamos, con la belleza de nuestras flores, dice que divertirse y ser feliz es importante para nuestra salud y la de él 😵... y para nadie se aburra, vamos a hacer una fiesta, el día que cumpla 17 semanas de vida, el jefe va a llamar a su amigo Frank que canta muy bien... espero que no sea otro de sus amigos raros! 😳 07/04/21 Hoy he tenido un riego profundo con nutrientes que me ayudan mucho ha crecer mis flores. Cada día necesito más agua de riego, mi metabolismo está disparado!... I loved! 😍 Una mezcla de riego con ácidos húmicos y fúlvicos, fósforo y potasio (Humato PK) al 1,5%, Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA Basic), que ayudan también a acidificar la mezcla, al 1% y melaza para endulzar. 09/04/21 Hoy a sido el gran día, mi cumpleaños de 17 semanas, todas las plantas de la carpa estamos nerviosas, hemos pedido a nuestro cultivador una ducha de agua sobre las hojas para estar más lustrosas!! Franky es maravilloso y muy guapo, todas nos hemos enamorado de él, creo que mi cultivador se quedó algo celoso! 😃... hicimos coros y lo pasamos muy bien... Ending week 5. Paradiso is finishing the fastest and has the biggest nugs. Banana clipz is taking the longest to flower. Banana clipz is greasy feeling and smells alot Diesel started to smell like cheese and funk but the sour lemon smell is still there. Lung Buster is the frosiest. Turnt smells the most and the smell changed a bit to more of a sweet berry smell. The peppery garlic funk is still strongly there.

12/4 Monday she is doing really well. I just gave her water and that’s all I’m gonna give her from here on out. There’s plenty of nutrients I almost overdid it but I caught the mistake just a little leaf burn tip. Her buds are as dense as any photoperiod plant I’ve ever seen. This has been my best grow ever for some reason she really liked me. She really did good even though I had bugs I think the big difference was silica. I read the article on this website about it and I started using it and it makes a huge difference I’m using 2.5 mL mixing it in with the rest of the nutrients and I don’t have any problems at all. 12/5 she looks more than ready her buds are so thick and dense. I just can’t believe it. I see these websites on Twitter where these girls trim up their weed and they sell it and it looks perfect. It’s gonna look almost as good as those I’ve seen really happy with this. This is my most successful grow so I gave her a nice haircut today. 12/6 I have a Bumble / flying fucking red nosed reindeer infestation it’s HORRIBLE you would think a fancy breeder like Seedsmen would put an a warning label on these seeds!! 12/8 I hunted the bumble into extinction and I ate the reindeer. It’s been a beautiful morning what a breakfast. I don’t know if I accidentally did this right, but taking the leaves off of it for the last week and just using water has been great. She’s starting to put out some more resin now I did take two little branches off and the one that I took earlier that dried is really rockhard solid. I’ve never had that before it’s just the best. 12/10 Sunday I’m just letting her dry out there’s three other plants in the tent with her so now they all have the bugs that she had. I had to spray again today with the garden spray I bought on Amazon. She looks pretty good I probably chop her down on Monday, I’ve smoked some it hasn’t really dried so I can’t get to the smell yet. Pretty exciting feels great though.

This week I fed Tea ☕️ that consisted of my own worm castings from the bin I made a few months back, molasses for the microbes , and a chicken manure product from Coop Poop. I can already see the difference, unless that’s my mind playing tricks on me, but I like to think that it is working! I think my own castings are the real catalyst to new growth; both now as well as in the future! I did check the trichomes on the plants that seem to be entering senescence (final stage of life). They seem to be still somewhat clear, so I will wait at least another week to harvest. As far as everything else, it has been an easy, uneventful, grow! ☮️💚

Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. Plants harvested about 80 days from seed. Very frosty buds with an intense citrus and blackberry scent. Easy harvesting with little work, buds easy to trim due to their uniform shapes. 604gr of wet buds. are drying for 8 days, first test done and the result is a very funny hybrid, initial sensations of a very sativa plant and then calms down and the symptoms of indica plants arrive, this strain is very well created. citrus and blackberry flavor very pleasant. as soon as they are completely dry I update with the dry weight. 3 Plants, Total of 136gr of dry buds. She's a little shorter than the others in the tent so I didn't top her again this week, but is looking healthy with full green leaves. Had to go out of town for a while which is why there was a little standing water in the video. Don't usually do this but was rushing before heading out for a few days. This plant is now on the left in the timelapse video. Enjoy!

Hello gromie's, just wrapped up week 7 of flowering & all the girls are going good, just continuing to do their thing. Buds bulking up nicely trichomes have changed from clear to cloudy, very sticky & smelly lowered nutrients, they are at the start of week 8 , but I'm thinking they will take a week or two more to ripen up , this will be my first harvest & I don't want to screw up the last few months by harvesting to early! I'm looking at doing 10-15% amber the rest cloudy for best results, think that's right will look at flushing soon.

Week 16

HARVEST WEEK 112 DAYS 50 VEGGING 62 FLOWERING + 2 Days Dark Rest. This week has been a week of bringing out a great smell. I have done all I can, myths, about dark resting, drying the plant whole, roots and all has been done. I can see the resin glistening, hard to see on camera but it's there, they are hard and very sticky. Only 1 out of the 3 loss their complete rock hardness and that was the Purple Og Punch, in fairness the leaf to calyx ratio is high, so is expected, the other 2 have got softer since the dark rest, but a lot lot sticker, so, this must be normal, if someone was just coming in, they'd just say they rock hard but I mean they were that hard if you threw 1 at a wall you'd wanna be ducking or you might get knocked out🤣🤣, ok, maybe not that hard. But they are super sticky, so super hard nugs I can forego for the price of sticky buds. I'm expecting on the dry+cure they'll harden up as the density is there, and go back to the way they were, no doubt. She has been struggling to hold herself up right, so, I hung her with roots and all, gave her a good shake. I usually just put up a harvest but because Idk what the smoke will be like, I'm not going to put ☆ up as you can't change them, hopefully GD will fix this, but they got a whole site to look after and the system they got now works, so hopefully on the next upgrade, who knows. But I'll leave the mark and smoke report/dry weight all in the 1 day now, I'll just be adding my own harvest week. As many ppl do who wanna rate after they sample. She has many colas, a lot of unevenness, but for my 1st mainline, really, it's just a shit load of LST and a T shape, as a real mainline has exact or thereabouts the energy should be even, (every cola) But in saying that, I'm happy. Not sure about wet weight I don't bother with that anymore, as I don't have a hang weight scales and I'm not chopping my plants up 2 get one neither, so guesses will do, I usually put up 5x the dry weight as wet. Will update harvest week with all results in one blow so when it goes live ppl can see it for what it is and not miss out on smoke report as that doesn't get posted, the most important part, well, I think so.
