This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

It is a very strong plant. It's just a monster. The branches are pretty big, it's still growing.... fuck... stop please :)) Still watering just water and some stimulants. Sugars are showing up and I think it's a very good result of the blooming time. Touching the flower with my hand, the smell is amazing, as my "perfumer" says - "I want a perfume like that".

She appears to be doin good. She was 2 weeks later in flowering, so she still got time. I'm guessing another 2 weeks 👍 She is not gaining anymore...

? Blueberry Muffin – Pheno B Week 8 | Lush, Green & Ready to Perform 🌿🔥 Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 If you're new to this diary, welcome! And if you've been following from the beginning, you already know that this project isn't simply about growing twelve plants. It's about watching twelve different personalities develop under the same conditions. Twelve cultivars. The same room. The same lighting. The same irrigation system. The same general feeding strategy. And yet somehow… they all tell completely different stories. Blueberry Muffin Pheno B is becoming a perfect example of that. Last week, she finally joined the flowering party. This week? OMG. She's looking absolutely lush. 🌱 A Quick Recap — How Did We Get Here? Because every phenotype has its own diary, I always want to begin with a little recap. Blueberry Muffin Pheno B has been grown from seed under a strict 12/12 light schedule, meaning she has received twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness from the beginning of the project. This is what we call 12/12-from-seed. Rather than giving the plants a traditional vegetative period under a longer light schedule, we're allowing them to develop under flowering photoperiod conditions from the start. And that doesn't mean every plant reacts the same way. Quite the opposite. We've seen some plants transition very quickly, while others have taken considerably longer. Pheno B was one of the slower ones. She spent a long time developing her structure before finally deciding that it was time to flower. But once she made that decision… she didn't waste any time. During the vegetative stage I deliberately kept things relatively gentle. There was no aggressive training programme. No constant manipulation. Mostly LST and gentle leaf positioning, allowing the plant to naturally develop her own structure while making small adjustments when necessary. That has given us a really interesting phenotype to observe. She's approximately the same size as her sister, but her personality is completely different. Pheno A developed a more open architecture. Pheno B? She's becoming a lush little bush. 🌿 And now we're finally getting to see what that structure can do in flower. 🌸 Flowering — She's Ready to Perform This is officially her second week of flowering development, and the transformation is becoming much more obvious. The flowering sites are clearly established now, with fresh white pistils appearing throughout the canopy. The tops are beginning to develop their own identity, and there are flowering sites distributed all across the plant. She's not stretching dramatically. She's not trying to become the tallest girl in the room. Instead, she's putting her energy into building what is already a very full structure. And that's what has me curious. Because when you look at her now, the question isn't really: "Will she flower?" That's already happening. The question is: What is she going to do with all this structure? Will she keep stacking compact flowers? Will she put on more stretch? How much will those smaller flowering sites develop? We don't know yet. And that's exactly why we're documenting it. 🌿 The Greenest Girl in the Room? One thing that immediately stands out this week is her colour. Look at this girl. She's carrying an incredibly lush green across the canopy. There are a few leaves here and there that had some imperfections or showed signs that they weren't contributing much anymore. Those are exactly the kinds of leaves we've been removing during our selective cleaning. But looking at the plant as a whole? She's looking healthy, vibrant and full of energy. And that's particularly interesting when compared with her sister. Same genetics. Same room. Same project. Different phenotype. Different expression. Pheno A has been asking for more nutrition and has been slower to regain that deeper colour. Pheno B is basically standing there saying: "I'm good. What's next?" 😂 And I absolutely love seeing that difference. ✂️ Cleaning, Lollipopping & Defoliation This week we've also continued our cleaning work around the room. And again, I want to emphasize something because this is an important part of how I'm approaching this entire project. There is no defoliation day. I don't have a calendar saying: Week 8 = everybody gets defoliated. That's not how I grow. There are twelve plants in this room, and they're twelve different personalities. So I look at the room. I look at the plants. And when one plant is telling me that it could benefit from a little cleaning… I clean that plant. Another one might be ready next week. Another one might need almost nothing. And that's perfectly fine. I'm also doing this entire project myself. So I'm not going to create artificial pressure by trying to defoliate twelve plants on the same day simply because a schedule says I should. I go with the flow. Not with pressure. For Pheno B, this meant removing selected leaves that were no longer useful, were creating unnecessary overlap, or were interfering with the developing flowering sites. We also cleaned up the lower portion of the plant with some lollipopping, removing lower growth that wasn't likely to contribute meaningfully to the main flowering structure. The objective isn't to strip the plant. It's simply to clean up the areas that don't need to be there anymore and improve the overall architecture. And I think the result is pretty clear in the photographs. She's still very leafy. She's still lush. She's still got plenty of healthy foliage. But the plant now has a cleaner lower structure and better-defined flowering areas. That's exactly what I want. ⚗️ Feeding — A Little More for Everyone The feeding programme has also been increased this week. And just like with Pheno A, this wasn't because Blueberry Muffin Pheno B suddenly demanded a huge increase. The entire room has reached a point where nutritional demand has increased naturally as flowering progresses. So we adjusted the feeding accordingly. Pheno B doesn't look hungry. Quite the opposite. She's looking fantastic. But she certainly doesn't appear to mind the increased availability either. 😄 Our current feeding consists of: 🌱 Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L 🌱 Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L 🌱 Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L 🌱 Plagron Pure Zym – 1 ml/L With the pH adjusted to approximately 6.0. The important thing now is not to keep changing things simply because we can. We've increased the feeding. Now we watch. If she continues maintaining this beautiful colour and keeps developing normally, that's a very good sign that she's comfortable with the current strategy. If she tells us something different… we listen. That's really the philosophy behind this entire grow. 🌡️ Environment The environment remains stable, which is exactly what I want at this stage. 🌡️ Day temperature: 29°C 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C 💧 Relative humidity: 60% 🥥 Substrate temperature: 21°C 💦 Nutrient solution temperature: 24°C ⚗️ pH: 6.0 ⚡ EC: approximately 2.0 mS/cm 💨 CO₂: 693 ppm 💡 Light schedule: 12/12 💧 Watering: approximately 1.3 L/plant/24h ? Pot size: 15 litres She's continuing in the AutoPot system, giving the root zone consistent access to the nutrient solution. That consistency is particularly valuable now that the plant has moved properly into flowering. No unnecessary drama. No wild swings. Just a stable environment and a plant being allowed to do what she naturally wants to do. ? Pheno B's Personality Is Becoming Very Clear This is probably my favourite part of this week's update. Because now we're beginning to understand who she is. She's compact. She's bushy. She's extremely leafy. She's naturally vigorous. And she's carrying a beautiful green colour. She's also developing a very different structure from her sister despite being the same cultivar. And that's exactly why I wanted separate diaries for the phenotypes. Imagine if these two plants were simply documented together under one Blueberry Muffin diary. We would lose half the story. Pheno A would tell us one story. Pheno B is telling us another. Same genetics. Different expression. And now we're going to get the opportunity to see whether that difference continues all the way through flowering. 📸 Behind the Lens The camera really captured the personality of this girl this week. The close-ups show those fresh pistils emerging from the developing flowers, while the wider photographs reveal just how much plant she has packed into a relatively modest footprint. The canopy is full. The flowering sites are becoming easier to identify. And that green… wow. There are still a few older leaves that have shown some imperfections, but after the selective cleaning, the plant looks remarkably uniform. This is one of those weeks where the photographs almost tell the story before I even start writing. She's ready. Now we just have to see what she does with the opportunity. 🔮 Looking Ahead — What Do We Expect? For the coming week, I'm not expecting any miracles overnight. And I'm certainly not going to make predictions about final yield or flower size at this stage. It's still early. What I am expecting is continued flower development. I'm looking for: 🌸 Increasing flower formation 🌿 Continued healthy green growth ? More definition around the individual flowering sites 📈 Some gradual stacking and development ✂️ Further selective cleaning only where the plant actually needs it And what am I not expecting? I'm not expecting every plant in the room to behave the same way. I'm not expecting Pheno B to suddenly become Pheno A. And I'm definitely not going to force her into a schedule simply because another plant is ready for something. She has already shown us that she's perfectly capable of writing her own story. So we'll let her continue. 💚 One More Week, One More Lesson This week is another reminder of why the 8×8 Adventure has become so fascinating for me. Two Blueberry Muffins. Same environment. Same genetics. Same light. Same irrigation. Same general feeding strategy. Yet look at them. Two completely different personalities. Pheno A is the patient one, gradually finding her rhythm and demanding a little more nutrition. Pheno B is the lush one, standing there with a beautiful green canopy and looking like she's ready to perform. Neither is better. Neither is worse. They're simply different. And that's the whole point. The grower doesn't always get to decide what the plant is going to become. Nutrients remain the same, and will continue so until ripening. Bulking has slowed down over the last week, as expected. I am hoping she will give me one last growth spurt, but maybe I am being wishful! Res was changed on D100, because well, yano, it was its hundredth birthday :) Pistols are slowly starting to curl, but it appears new ones are still coming through. A few days ago I managed to climb to the back, there are some heavy nuggets at the back of the canopy that I can't take a picture of, from the door. I have a feeling I need to buy some more jars 🤞

It was my first time ever growing a weedplant, loved doing! Surprised me to see how fast these plants change in a day time, fascanating! Happy with the outcome for a first time, on to the next!

The trichomes are starting to make themselves known On this one, also the smell is becoming a citrus like aroma which is one of my favorites, also No signs of deficiencies or anything yet so I hope it stays that way.

Germination (4-6 to 16-6) White Widow - Green House Seeds Co. Genetics: Brazilian x South Indian. 25.76% THC, 60% Indica, 40% Sativa. Flowering time: 8 weeks. I chose this strain because i bought it alot in the coffeeshop in 2018, nowadays the White Widow tastes nothing like how i remember it to be. So i decided to grow it my self. I read somewere that Green House has the most original genetics and its the seedbank where i am the most familiar with so thats an easy choice! 4-6 Today i put 2 White Widow seeds into a wet coffee filter to germinate. 6-6 After 48 hours the 2 seeds are ready to be put into a 0.5L pot filled with some Plagron Lightmix. The lightmix has some nutes for the first 3 weeks or so, i will feed nutes when i transplant them into 18L AutoPots with 70/30 Coco-Perlite. I made a feed with 0.5 gr Calcium and 0.2 ml Rootstimulator per liter. EC: 0.4 PH: 5.8, and watered the pot a bit. I let them stay in the dark untill i see them above the soil. 7-6 After 24 hours they are above the ground and i removed the plastic foil covering the pots. 8-6 Temperature: 19.5 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 41% to 70% Watering: 20 ml. 9-6 Temperature: 18.8 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 62% to 74% 10-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 23.9 degrees Humidity: 60% to 74% 11-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 25.2 degrees Humidity: 43% to 71% Watering: 25 ml. 12-6 Temperature: 21.2 to 25.4 degrees Humidity: 44% to 60% 13-6 Temperature: 22.2 to 25.9 degrees Humidity: 44% to 71% Watering: 15 ml. 14-6 Watering: 60 ml. A week later and today is the last day of the germination phase. They are starting to grow faster from now on.

June 28, 2023 Day 50 Zkittlez One: Height: 24.5" DLI: 52 mol/m²/d Light Height: 22" Zkittlez Two: Height: 28.5" DLI: 55 mol/m²/d Light Height: 18" This week will focus on Zkittlez One and getting her thinned out properly. I hope to have that finished by the end of the week. I've also raised the light again to keep the distance at 22" above the canopy. It's also helping Zkittlez Two. As she is a 28.5" plant, she was definitely a bit too close to the light. The other plants in the tent may not have enough light from the higher light height. I'm not sure for good or bad. Zkittlez One has hit the 24" plus mark! She looks fantastic. I definitely need to thin out the foliage a bit. I'll wait for her to finish up. But I'll just pull a few here and there as needed. However, I don't expect much more stretch out of her. Maybe a couple more days? We shall see. Water looks great. The stacks coming off this lady are, IMO, fantastic. The whole canopy is covered in tops and shoots still reaching. Honestly, if she was alone in the tent, I'm pretty sure I could have trained her wall to wall. Alas, I have 3 other plants in there who also need light space. Lol. Zkittlez Two is also looking great! She's filling out a bit still and building up those buds. I have a bit of confusion with her top. The buds are very skinny at the top and get fatter in the mid range of the plant. Around where the side branches grew to. Happily, they match the height of Zkittlez One. Or just a bit lower. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 62.3% (still super humid here) VPD: 1.07 kPa June 29, 2023 Zkittlez One This plant has been a beast the whole time. Now she is getting too big for the tent and way too big to accommodate 4 plants as I have in there now. The canopy is super deep and needs a good thinning out. Speaking of thinning out, I decided to remove the outer leaves to open more space for the other plants. I'll be doing this over the course of the next couple days. She also got a full reservoir refill today. Cleaned up the reservoir as well. Zkittlez Two This lady needs absolutely nothing. Just hanging out and showing me what I should be expecting for bud production out of Zkittlez One. Honestly, I think I need a bigger tent already. I've had this 3x3 for 3 grows and I'm discovering the disadvantage of a smaller tent. Plus the thing people seem to think is best is compact plant. I don't need mine compact. I can grow in my state without issues. The humidity is still super high. So far I haven't found a solution. I have 2 dehumidifiers in there. That didn't work at all. It's the main room the tent is in. It's super humid in there due to the weather. Tent door has been open for days. I'll ask what to do. Maybe someone has an idea. Update: So I was looking over Zkittlez One this afternoon and realized taking the tie downs out made the plant compact, but a bit too compact. So after some testing I figured out that I needed to tie down the lowest 4 branches to open up the center of the canopy. It worked WONDERS! The 4 branches along with all of the tops from each one spread out perfectly, completely opening up the whole canopy. She is seriously huge now. See pic. Just WOW I've also added a video to show her mass. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 62.1% VPD: 1.08 kPa June 30, 2023 Zkittlez One is the boss of this grow. She'll need another watering tomorrow morning. I snipped off some outside leaves today. And a couple blocking bud sites and more tops. A quarter turn made a bit more room for the other plants in the tent. Well, except Zkittlez Two. She is in the way back almost engulfed by Zkittlez One. Zkittlez Two has some awesome bud production going on. She may need a watering soon as well. Anyway, the whole plant is covered as I thought it would be. The buds haven't even started to swell yet. It's just going to be that much bigger. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 64.4% VPD: 1.01 kPa July 1, 2023 Zkittlez One looks absolutely amazing. Massive and still growing. She's nearly 30" wide. 24" deep. She is also 25.5" tall. I don't know if this is big for an autoflower, but I assume it is. It's the biggest I've ever grown. She doesn't need water yet, but at her rate, she may need another gallon tomorrow. I snipped off just a couple more leaves today, just opening air flow and bud sites. Zkittlez Two looks great as ever. I decided to finally pull some fan leaves. Just the main stem ones and a couple that was completely covering another branch or facing inward. She'll need a new reservoir tomorrow. My major concern is how much she is squished in the back. With the 4 plants in there and that one massive Zkittlez, the 2 vegging plants need all the light they can get, which puts this lady in the corner. I was honestly considering moving her to my dry Tent and popping the light back in there. Something else I noticed is the bud structure. They seem quite wispy maybe it's just how they form for now. But they are also really skinny. Especially the main cola. I'll have to keep an eye on that and see what I can do about it, if anything. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 63.3% VPD: 1.06 kPa July 2, 2023 Zkittlez One is now officially in the flowering stage. I'd say 2 days ago, but now the buds are really forming. The top of the canopy reads out at an impressive 26.5" tall. 29" in diameter. More bud sites and tops that I'm willing to count. Just a lot. She's going to need more water first thing tomorrow. Maybe later this afternoon. She's super thirsty and that's a great thing. I've also managed to thin the whole plant out. Not a full defoliation, but a few leaves here and there for about a week. Now she looks near perfect. Zkittlez Two looks great! Still buried in the back and the buds are still pretty wispy. At least the ones up top. Lower bud production is fantastic! Big fat buds. I might have to drop the intensity very soon to save the main cola. She's definitely not as thirsty as Zkittlez One and I am still a bit concerned about that. She did however finish stretching at 29" tall. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 62.2% VPD: 1.05 kPa July 3, 2023 I dropped the light intensity down from 90% to 80% last night. Zkittlez One was drooping about 4 hours before lights out. I read somewhere that too much light can cause that. So we shall see how it looks tonight. Zkittlez One needs more trimming I think. She looks great, but she has an 18" deep canopy and I'd rather give light to the whole thing. The top 5" are fine, but below that is a thick floor of foliage. I trimmed some of it away today, it I'm gonna need to continue for a bit. At least some for next 2 weeks. Every other day. Healthy is an understatement with this plant. She is really tall with the whole setup with bottom reservoir. 40" from floor to top. Impressive. Zkittlez Two is so stuffed in the wall, I feel bad. I might have to take her out and put her in my dry tent with a 100 watt light. That is still up for debate. It's an extra 100 watts of power I'd be using. However, the extra space will certainly give the whole plant more light coverage and produce better buds I think. I'm going to try and maneuver them in the current tent and see what I can do. Update: So Zkittlez Two was really squished in the corner. So I removed one of the smaller plants and moved Zkittlez Two diagonally to Zkittlez One. I also got to pull the 4 main side branches out for better light penetration. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 62.7% VPD: 1.07 kPa July 4, 2023 Zkittlez One is still growing a bit I think. The grow light is only 18.5" above the canopy now. Where it should be at 22" I'll have to see what I can do. Doing great on water and healthy as ever. I did start a bit of pruning. The popcorn buds on the bottom of the canopy. I'm not cutting the longer branches though. I feel like that might cause more stress. But I'm going to pull off popcorn buds for the rest of next week and of course remove fan leaves as needed. Every leaf is super healthy, just in the way of air flow and light. Zkittlez Two is much better in the front of the tent diagonal from her sister plant. Much more space. And with the side branches pulled out, I expect to see much better bud development. She's still a slow drinker, but I'm starting to think it's the humidity that's preventing her from drinking more. This is an entire week or more of humidity and lack of the right equipment. So I'm really hoping I don't end up with bud rot or mold. I don't think I'll get mold because of the air circulation. But bud rot later on is very possible. Maybe not probable though. I don't know. I don't have much experience with it, so yah. Either way, the grow tent door will be kept open to keep the humidity at a kind of reasonable level. AvT oh my she just stinks and I'm not sure is a pleasant smell. She is 22 inches tall and just as wide, filling her space nicely. Defoleated her. She is bottom heavy, branches are low and wide. Hung second light so things should be happening. Increased newts to 680 ppm. All things considered this plant is doing great, and really has a strong smell.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. All thriving 😍✌️💚 ACOP and Melonade Runtz structure is stunning 💪 Divines Overdose is getting chunky and showing nice stack potential 👌 Leaving these to just run there natural course, will allow me to best pick my next SOG run with micro autos indoor 😎 Video update Day 45 14/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 48 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Orange bud is tall!! Top her next time. Critical orange is lovely and compact.
