Had a ph problem last week as my pen decided to out of the blue go wonky. Made my plants basically drown till I caught it but these girls actually didn’t take it to bad. Only got a bit of leaf damage and plants seemed to bounce back overnight. 2 of 4 are tied down now and the others will be done this week as well. I will also be installing my Scrog screens at the end of the week.

Plants are doing nicely on their own. I have learned to be more hands-off and let them take their own pace. I check soil dryness every few days and add water/nutrients when dry past my first knuckle. Sticking with the same nutrient mix as it seems to be doing the trick. If you watch the timelapse, you'll see a moment of panic when the reflector fell over onto Cheecha. But, in the long run, what doesn't kill them seems to be making them stronger. Cheecha is now almost the same height as her sister Chonga. We're in Fall now, so the room is getting a little cooler, but above 70 degrees F. Humidity is also starting to drop a bit too.

Ok these auto girls have been through a lot the past few weeks: three different nutrient lines, multiple flushes, LST, a bit of supercropping. All from a newbies first grow. So at this point I think it's safe to say, these AK48 girls are pretty bad ass. Coming near the end of my 4th week and they are flowering! I can not believe I've made it this far. They look great, growing daily, and make me smile every single day. I was having a lot of nutrient issues up until I received my sample set of Oregon's Only line. Holy crap y'all my plants look great with this stuff! This line just feels more intuitive for me. I had used the GO box nutes, then some Fox Farm nutes so I know I needed to flush before using the OO nutes. It worked out. I just went for It and used the recommended full strength. Running my pH at 6.3-6.5 flowering in coco coir/perlite. I feel there needs to be a slave to the plant song? Because that's what I've willingly become. I had shoulder surgery this week and not feeling super hot, kinda depressed. But looking forward to taking care of these girls each day has really put me in a good mood. Since my shoulder is out of commission I've enlisted my daughter's help with helping me with watering, etc I water with full nutes when the fabric pots feel light. So far so good. Heatwave is back and they are loving the humidity. I've needed to water a bit more often, ever other day due to the heatwave. But now we are forecasted to have rain for the next few days. Should be a nice relief. The one I had topped almost 2 weeks ago is still doing well. She is must shorter than the untouched one as expected. I have also tied down the bottom branches; experimenting with LST and so far she's responding well and adjusting.

This will be the last week in veg! You can already see some coots forming and their height is upwards of 18 inches. I will switch their light schedule on Sunday and start the bloom. Can’t wait!!

Update in progress... 11/23/24 - Chopped and hung whole in closet. 11/29/24 - Trimmed and jarred. Early samples detect incredible taste and smell. The high is immediate and very energetic. Felt up front and in the face. Very pleased with the initial weights, although I will make certain they are accurate and final before posting numbers. 12/11/24 - No clue why it only gives me an option to log the wet bud weight but I put 3.55 oz for my final weight and that is dry.
