Did she start flowering ? Usually I see the same with pheno ants when I switch off the light for 36 hours to start flowering and after the top is light green. This is how flowering starts. I am not sure about her ? Weather is shit anyways....

So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

easy enough week. added dehumidifiers in both tents as i really have them packed and its best we take care of that now than run into diffs later. nutrients all good, much the same. harvested bday cake auto 45g wet weight. maybe was hard on her at the start but whatever.. looks good, hopefully tastes as good. 3rd week in and these girls are massive.. like really impressive. no hype.

This grow was incredible—hands down the most enjoyable in years! The harvest may not be massive as I’m still fine-tuning my system, but it’s more than enough for me. The aroma is phenomenal, absolutely mouthwatering, and brought tears to my eyes while trimming. I’m thrilled to taste the final product!

Plants are testers, so there no uniform growth and I just grew one of the gmintz x cheese danish it long and stretchy, glad I topped her and spreaded her out Lst her down she doesn’t like a lot of water and the others seem to not what much either I’m growing in 5 soil and coconut coir mix with some worm castings and some dry amenities (4-8-4). I’m currently focusing on how wide I can get them. They moody as hell especially the gmintz she mad when it to hot or cold she like 80 degrees lol and nothing else crazy but the Bbm x nf90 one of the got a strong bbm smell and the other is bigger and grew a little quicker but no smell

Heerlijke harde volle toppen en voor het eerst dat ik harsdruppels zie. Een heerlijke strain om te growen. De plant wordt in zijn geheel opgehangen en ik zal het droge gewicht wegen.

Day 85: The last week! The dark purple fade looks gorgeous. Trichomes are mostly cloudy now with a few clear and an amber here and there. I plan to take her down sometime this week. My smell came back and I can confirm that she still absolutely reeks! Some fan leaves are drying and falling off. Day 91: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients a day or two ago. I cut off a bunch of fan leaves that were drying out. She looks ready now. The trichomes are mostly cloudy with some amber and a handful of clear. The very bottom buds could use more time, but everything else looks good. My plan is to chop her in 2 days. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain a lot and I don't want to start drying her in overly humid conditions. The temps here are between -1C and 13C so it's already going to be cold and I should be able to have a nice slow dry. She is a beautiful plant with a strong smell and lots of frost. I'm excited to see how the smell/flavor will be after drying. The buds feel very dense. They look mostly purple now, but I think that might just be on outside. Anyway, I can't wait to be able to try her... She didn't give me any trouble while growing and I would highly recommend her based on the growing experience. The bottom buds could have gone longer, but the tops were already showing amber on the buds so I decided it was time. Her smell is straight funk at the moment. I don't pick up the berries that I did earlier, hopefully that will come back. I trimmed off most of the fan leaves and left the sugar leaves on the plant for drying. The plant is hung up whole while drying in my tent. The exhaust fan is on, but the oscillating fans are off. I tied the side branches with separate strings to give them a bit of space and air between them. Starting environmental conditions are 14C and 55% humidity. Que pasa familia. Noticias buenas y malas, de 3 ejemplares, uno nos salió hermafrodita. Empezó a formar plátanos esta semana y al estar tirándolos en ramas distintas, cortamos por lo sano y ADIÓS. Quedan 2 subimos cantidad de comida, pegaron buen estirón, y las flores están formando sin problema alguno. Dejo muchas imágenes y vídeos de esta semana, y ya deducen ustedes.
