This was the last week of flowering and therefore I stopped giving any nutrients for a good FLUSH. This is very important in order to avoid a harsh smoke later when the plants are dried, because any nutrients left in the plant will burn your throat and the weed will hurt while you smoke it. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I cant wait to try the dried end-product. All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎

📋 Comments Zoap by MSNL is a really good strain, very rapid growth early on in its life and continues at a nice rate right up to harvest. From my experience I'd say this was one of the easiest plants i have ever grown. 📋 Data Seed to havest=112 days. Veg time=40 days. Flower time=72 days. Wet weight=990g Dry weight=79g 📋 Smoke report Trimming this was a delight. I let her hang for 15 days before trimming. Nice easy plant to trim. I didn't have any real larf either, the trim is coated with trichomes so I'll do a hash run with it. The buds are pretty damn solid with plenty of sticky trichomes all over them, just like we want. I was getting a citrus smell when trimming. After 2 weeks curing in the terplock groove bags I had a sample (miles better then jars). 1st sample was using my pax plus. 2nd sample was a joint. I'm getting an earthy cherry taste with a sweet aftertaste. This high is great, I'd guess at 25%Thc or more. 📋Grow stats for GDG 22 #1 Lemon cherry gelato=104g #2 Zoap=79g Total=183g Lights on. 20hrs×7days=140hrs 18hrs×33days=594hrs 12hrs×78days=936hrs Total hours=1670hrs Light power=211.09Kw Rad power=415.73Kw Extractor=43.5Kw 4 gang=56.62Kw Top fan=27.82 Total electricity=754.76KW Electricity cost @£0.25/Kw=£188.69 Average light power a day=1.78Kw Average watt per hour=106w g/watt=(183÷106)=1.72g/w £/g=£1.03/g 📋Final word. I didn't run into any major problems and the Plagron nutes were excellent, I'm thinking these are going to be my goto from now on. I combined the trim from both plants to make a hash run and managed 14g of hash. That takes my total to 197g for the grow. Very happy. Back soon. Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I cannot believe how much growth this week!!! For the first time I've had to higher the light fixture. It is now almost as high as I can put it. I'm kinda regretting not FIMing her now...... I hope she does not grow much more in height!

Week 2 and the girls are looking more yellow and funky than I like. I'm pretty sure my soil is just way too hot. I tried flushing it through, but that just seemed to lead to general overwatering issues. I'm planning on transplanting to larger pots with more neutral soil this weekend and hope that will help straighten things out.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Day 29 - 8/12 - I took the day off! Didn't water and didn't measure. LOL I did peek at her once or twice though... Day 30 8/13 - 8.5" today! - 5.8 ph water as usual. - Cut off a couple of fan leaves that were annoying me. Thinking about finally flipping her tonight, getting a bit bored LOL need a change up. Day 31 - 8/14 - LOL Never mind on flipping her I guess, I ended up topping her! I wasn't going to, the furthest thing on my mind when it came to training her! But, I just did! I topped her! What can I say...I am very impulsive. I get an idea in my head and it's done before the next thought. I will change things up on a dime! - Well, she is doing good after that sudden head chop though. Wish I would have decided to do this a few days ago...but whatever! I think I will let her veg out for a few more weeks and get tall before I flip now LOL I may change my mind before then though. - 7" tall today now that she is topless. - No water today, but bringing her new feed up to full strength on her next...It's coming! She wants it bad lol Day 32 - 8/15 - Finally a full feed! Upped her Cal mag to 4ml/gal now too. May end up needing to go higher on that soon. - 7" tall still - She's already growing new pretty leaves and looking more bushy lol. I'm glad I topped her. - Hoping her full strength will help her paleness now lol, and her big dose of cal mag of course. Day 33 - 8/16 - 7.5" tall Day 34 - 8/17 - 7.5" tall - Still on every other day water with full strength Terra Grow from Plagron and 4ml of Cal Mag. Sometimes I feel like adding a ml or 2 of silica. Giving 2000ml per water. Day 35 - 8/18 - 8" tall **Still going on about how much I love my low effort nutrient feed! Simplicity is the way ! LOL at least for me. She didn't seem to mind the switch up to Plagron at all, but she was really young though. She did yell a bit at me for starting her so low...but this was my first time using Plagron, and my first time not going off of someone else's chart so I was fine taking my time. And, as you can see, she survived LOL She also didn't mind me suddenly cutting her head off. LOL When will I flip.....now that will be a mystery. I'm sure it will just hit my head one day that "today is the day"....and I'm sure there will be no actual reason for that specific day either, just an "I felt like it". Lana has not managed to nibble any this week, but she has stood guard to make sure no one else could either. She thinks if anyone is getting a nibble it's gonna be her! My little guardian. First day of my first Grow Diary, friend gave me these so I thought I would see what they got, 4 x washing machine and 2 x Jaffa Cake, I will be scrogging, topping and performing some LST to open them up. Transplanted cuttings straight into the 12lt pots, I used the white shark powder around the root area during transplant. Food Making Notes: 1. Canna A, Canna B, Startbooster 2. Measured E.C at 1.2 3. pH'd from 6.5 down to 5.8 4. Added White Shark (just a sprinkle) Feeding was done primarily around the root zone, after a few days I will begin to saturate the whole medium. Update (+3 days): - Washing Machine have really settled in and has had some great growth, I have started doing LST and topping at the 4th node, video and pictures added. - Jaffa Cake not doing so well at the moment, they seem to have transplant shock, I am taking it easy for the moment, spraying them with a Super Thrive foliar spray, within the next feed I am planning to reduce the E.C to 1.0 and add super thrive to the food, along side the start booster and great shark. Update (+6 days) - Washing machine growing really well, got two growing perfectly and two of growing three leaves and many branches. - Jaffa Cake is now recovering from it's transplant shock, made a dome for them to create a high humidity environment while rooting in the pot, dome was sprayed with a mix of water and super thrive, I also made up a different batch of food with 50% of the nutrients, E.C around 1.0 (500pm).

12/8 - Today is the start of week 10. I actually changed the nutes on this girl yesterday (12/7) because I had some extra time. I tapered her down to 60% strength (down from 75% during the previous week) due to some pH drifting issues. I removed a few errant leaves, but for the most part haven't messed with her much over the last week. She is starting to pack on the trichomes and hopefully will be bulking up over the next week or two before ripening. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!
