Week 5 / Flowering During this 5th week of flowering, everything is going very well. There have been a few periods of heat, but overall everything is progressing nicely. A few buds are hidden by some leaves, but given how advanced the flowering stage is, we will avoid removing them. Beautiful colors are starting to appear: a pinkish-purple tone for Froasted, while Purple Cookies is showing a darker shade. Our odd one of the group, Sticky Berry, continues on the same path. There are also a few signs of previous overfeeding or underfeeding, but nothing concerning at this stage. 12/12 switches : 12/06/2026 Back: Frosted Grape Front left: Purple Cookie Front right: Stick Berry Watering remains moderate: ~600 mL for the larger plants and ~300 mL for the smaller ones, with 1 L being the maximum applied so far.

The terpenes attack are intense, super strong citrus pungent at this stage which indicates plant is ripening its trichs. My watering is twice a week with 500ml compost tea and 1.5L water only. The frost and smell is amazing. As for the burnt off leaves, i did defo but i was lazy to trim more of the burnt leaves. So i am going to leave them there because they drop off easily and is not inside the buds

21/04/2023 Day 65 We are almost there, I can see pistils are quite mature now, maybe less on the top, but that's fine to me. Tomorrow will I will begin the Kleen for 3 days and harvest on Tuesday 25. 23/04/2023 Day 67 Now 100% with Final Clean (TA), EC 0.2 (because it mixes the remaining last nutrient mix from the upper tank 4L against 12L in the lower tank) I've just realized I messed up with the Diary weeks, can't be at Week 11 yet, on day 67. Hand the week showed on Diary cover is even set to 12. Not sure if I could set 10 to this one too. Will try anyway. => no, I can't go back, I would be able to set 12, good when you're late in publishing though..

Going onto week 2 of flower! These were taken dec28, so day 8 of flower. So far looking fine though a bit dehydrated. This one definitely is water hungry now and needs to be watered every other day now. We'll see how she comes along into the next few weeks. D6 of this week (d13 of flower), and we can start to see flowers coming in a teensy bit. We are still watering every 2 -3 days. On D7 we did a slightly premature feed of the flower girl fertilizer. This project is kind of experiment with e-bay cheap led 150w ufo light. Week two, to be honest wasn't so spectacular, but I found out that plant was developing it's root system ( i'll try to post picture of roots next time). Week three went surprisingly well, the plant grown over twice of it's last week size. I'm looking forward for next week effects - the cheapo light with DWC system may bring some spectacular results.

This week I can see the bud sites starting to stack up — she’s looking happy and healthy. Whenever a big fan leaf blocks the bud sites, I just snip it off. I’m still fighting to get the RH down, though. By the end of next week, I’ll give her a nice fresh haircut.

Week 3 has been a breeze. Retied the plant to spread it out alot. I am going to veg for 6-8 more weeks and transplant into a 25 gallon pot to give the roots some room for flower.

Mandarin Cookies canopy is looking nice. Wondering if I should flip to flowering soon to avoid light burn when She stretches; Nute burned the Larry OG once again :/ ; defoliation on both mandarin cookies and Larry OG;

This month and the next will be at day, 40 Celsius, i have the lights on at night , 18 Celsius, and I got a water atomizer that being more humidity to the grow. She handle the hot, till now very good.. Let's work on it. This seed it was the last that James from RSA send me and, due to several problems i never can't make a RSQ diary.. She grow, a 2year seed! Congratulations Royal Seed Queen! I will do my best this time.

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. As I said, she has become a single fat dense and sticky main cola, very compacted, looks like it's just 1 huge fat nugget. Very nice aroma but not stinky at all. I'm enjoying her, she's not very big but she's literally a single big fat nugget.
