Blackberry Kush stretches. I could form a nice bushy structure and the plant reacts well with a lot of flowers which get direct sunshine. It‘s my first grow. This one is the second cannabis plant, popped out of my homemade charcoal compost potting mix. I feed my plants with light homemade fertilizers and water with rainwater 1-2 times per week. The plants love it, like my tomatoes and peppers do and did in the past.

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind me. I did a little defoliation this week, I honestly didn’t dare remove more leaves and branches, I didn’t know how they would react to it. Maybe I needed more? The temperature is still high, sometimes rising to 29, 30 degrees, but mostly around 28. Humidity in the air is an average of about 55% but sometimes rises to 60%. The problem is frequent rains this summer which creates high humidity in the air and this affects the humidity in the box as well. But plants tolerate these conditions very well. The flowers are developing nicely, and they have started to smell as well, but let the pictures speak for themselves. Green Gelato is twice as small compared to her roommates, but there is still a big crowd in the box. Gelato grew with very dense branches and spread more than it grew in height. The 120 x 60 box size is perhaps too small for three plants (two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato), so the real jungle is in the box. Due to the height of the Hulkberry in the box, and the spreading branches, it has become difficult to take them out every week for photography, but I am extremely careful with them. The Green Gelato has grown to 48 cm and does not look like it will grow much in height. Probably due to the excessive distance from the light, which I had to raise because of the Hulkberry which reached a height of 1m. 18/07/2020. - Day 30. Defoliation. I removed the leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make it easier for me to water them, after that I watered the plants but this time I didn’t put BioBizz, I just watered them with clean water. 21/07/2020. - Day 33. Watering. This time I gave them BioBizz, on schedule for the second week of flowering. I also added CalMag 1.5ml / L, preventively. I started a new job, so detailed comments will come shortly once I get some time to fill things out. Mostly I just transplanted at week 2 for the Banana Bombs and week 1 for the Cement Shoes... Honestly the Banana Bomb were already looking kinda root bound in their solo cups by the end of 2 weeks, so the advice that the leaf length to cup diameter seems accurate as they were definitely growing out past the cups. The Cement Shoes had decent enough root development that I had no issues with the transfer, but I also may have been able to wait 3 or 4 more days. It doesn't seem to mind one bit though and if anything appeared to have the least shock and quickest recovery time. Just have been watering and keeping to the light schedule. I sprinkled some diatomaceous earth on the top of the pots on Thursday as a kind of potential preventative. I saw a flying bug go into my tent from my room and was unable to smack it, and the last thing I wanted was it getting some ideas to lay some eggs. Hopefully the two days it was on the top of the soil before I watered deterred it, if it even was a bug that would cause issue to begin with (I had no idea but taking no chances). I will introduce molasses and maybe some other botanical or compost teas in the next week or so, possibly with the addition of some malted barley top dressing. We shall see what time and money allows. I also wish to start some kind of IPM with neem, azamax, sm90, Spinosad, D-limonene, or essential oil mixes. Wanting to stick to organic control of course, so options may not include some things or others. If I can afford predatory mites or nematoads or something to toss in the soil, that might be good too. More research must be done.

In der vergangenen Woche, habe ich nur nochmal die untersten Blätter und Seitentriebe rausgenommen. Jetzt bleibt die Pflanze so wie sie ist.. Auch die Entwicklung der Aromen nimmt an Fahrt auf, es ist ein leicht süßer Geruch wahrnehmbar. Die Pflanze ist von der Beschreibung her nicht darauf getrimmt viele Trichome auszubilden, da dass Hauptaugenmerk ja auch auf die THCV Produktion gelegt wurde. Just watering with tap water right now with great white and molasses things are running smoothly no deficiencies. Thinking about going organic but idk what to get still doing research but if not I got synthetic on stand by. Gonna be going another month in veg to get them nice and big.
