Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Hi Growmies, we reached week 9 of blooming and the HighCloudz is almost ready for harvest ✌️I plan to let her bloom for another 7 days at least, and after this I let the trichromes tell me if it's harvest time. My microscope is broken and I'm waiting for a new one to arrive. So hopefully I have the chance to do a closer inspection in a few days. Apart from my mistake in nutrition in week 6 and 7 I'm very happy with this round. The buds look delicious and covered with resin. Can't wait to get a taste 😍 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Allright! I received my new microscope in the mail and checked out the trichromes. Turns out a lot of them are still transparant. Just goes to show that it's dangerous to rely on the brown pistils to determine if the plant is ready for harvest. And the funny thing is that she's forming new calyxes again. We will have to see if she's ready for harvest by the end of this week. And if not I just give her another week to reach her full potency 👊

Hi 420 Family. Start of week 6, and we are well into the blooming stage. So far so good, these ladies have gained a lot of growth over the past 2 weeks, they have stretched a lot and have now shifted their energy into making buds. The one WW is a little ahead of the rest in maturity it seems, the other two WW's not far behind. PL's I think will flower for an extra week or two looking at the bud sites and the pistils. At this stage they are getting about 1L of bloom feed every 1.5 days but it does seem to pick up and they are getting more thirsty every watering. I guess they will eventually settle on about 1L per day. D36 - 11 Aug - All good and no complaints, other than the stretchy PL's. Let's hope they just make for awesome bud sites. D38 - 13 Aug - Steady as it goes... Bud sites are forming nicely and I have not again spotted any sacks on the WW that initial had about 6/8 sacks on the oldest branches, nodes closest to the main stem. Very happy that I didn't kill her; I am still keeping a close eye tho. The PL's have again stretched a little bit but not as much as last week, thank goodness. They were watered yesterday morning and will be letting them dry out properly before giving them another feeding. Week 14 Day 92 | 21/07/2022: I think these girls are ready! But I will still wait until the end of the week to cut them down together with the other two. Although I am thinking of cutting down one of two stems to start drying some early.. I'll see Day 93 | 22/07/2022: No time today Day 94 | 23/07/2022: Watered the girls today with just 1.5L of water. The temperatures have dropped thankfully so it's not too hot for them now. I've also decided to cut down one stem from Jackie to start drying it early. Since we're gonna be moving I wanted a little bit to dry beforehand. Day 95 | 24/07/2022: The girls definitely look like they need to be harvested right now. Just a few days left! Day 96 | 25/07/2022: The leaves have gone purple! I think that's because they are way over-ripe ;D Although I must say the buds are more on the smaller side... Also I decided not to water them anymore so they can dry up a bit before harvest in 3 days! Day 97 | 26/07/2022: Day 98 | 27/07/2022: Day 99 | 28/07/2022: Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I would have ideally harvested these girls earlier but maybe this will make it a super strong smoke. Can't wait to smoke (vape) them!

RS11 x Banana OG - Barney's Farm x Doja Day 105 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with nutrients listed above mixed in order, and ph'd to 6.3. I'm not too sure about this one, there were a few issues with her during veg and now that we're more than half way through her flowering cycle, I would have expected her buds to have bulked up a lot more - her pistils have started to show signs of maturity, so I don't expect her to bulk up much more... Maybe it's the genetics, maybe Im just unlucky here, but I have a feeling the yield will be extremely small with this one... Which is a shame, because it smells so good!! She's close to harvest and there is enough room in the tent, so I'll finish her off, but under different circumstances, I would have removed her already and turned her into cannabutter... You win some, you lose some...

Mein pH Messgerät war kaputt, aber auf eine eklige Art und Weise, es hat nämlich falsche Werte angezeigt. Das führte dazu, dass der pH überhaupt nicht gepasst hat und die Pflanze ringsum knusprige Blätter hatte. Das habe ich korrigiert und das Wasser getauscht, jetzt explodiert sie förmlich. Schon Wahnsinn wie die immer anschieben wenn die Bedingungen passen.

Wächst und gedeiht äußerst prächtig...Insgesamt stabile Seitentriebe Zudem wurde sie im unteren Drittel etwas entlaubt

I think she start to look delicious 28/7 she really start to smell good 30/7 give her this morning the first time green sensation and build it up to 0,5 in the next week that starts tomorrow ☘️

The girl has experienced some interesting changes outside this week, from +30 days to +3 nights, but it seems she is still thriving. I have done a main flower cut because I am going on vacation and will leave the girls alone for 10 days and therefore I don't want them to grow out, it all depends on the weather conditions :) good luck to everyone.

After the harvest I did a bud wash with hydrogen peroxide. I wanted to make sure that the plant is clean. For this; I needed to cut the branches down because no bucket is big enough to bud wash a whole plant. This makes the drying time faster since smaller branches dry more quickly because of less water retention. She dryed for about a week.

This week I worked on hardening the clones. I got them used to 40% RH pretty quickly. My grow set up is subject to some pretty crazy swings from the weather. Outside, it went from 16% to 45% and back to 24% in one week. Going easy with the light for another week at about 180-200 µmol/m2/s. I'm not going to push any parameters until I get them through the transplant. So far so good. When I saw the first roots I jumped up and down and did a bunch of spastic air fist pumps. 😂
