------GENERAL COMMENT------ We arrived pass mid flowering as we are now starting week 5 of flower. No issues, bumped up a bit the Sensi Bloom to 2.5 after 3ml, and have seen the girls darken a bit, so i decided to go down a bit to 2ml this week, maybe stick to this dosage depending how the girls react. The tent have become small for or two ladies, no way to train them more, there is no space. Decided to move forward without a mid grow flush. Still on the 1.5l of water every other day, one base + recharge + pk booster, other with pk booster + natures candy + velokelp alternating. Today was the last Pk booster - Big Bud dose, now we will cut the Big Bud and enter with the Overdrive, the rest will be as is. ------SM.BB COMMENT------ The blueberry is darker than the AK, presenting no signs of overfert, tips are ok, and no spotting, buds are becoming fat and resinous.

A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

i started to LST the Black Diamond in order to get my ppfd nice and even across the whole canopy. Melonade runts are getting their LST next week. Homemade strains are catching well and are showing indica dominant phenotypes. i also started some LST and FIMming on the Oreo Blizzard Clone

Alright Growmies!! So this Purple Ice Water is a bag seed I got from an amazing strain i had and was lucky enough to find hidden gem inside one if the beautiful nugs!! I think I have a photo in my Google photos I'll look for a picture of the flower the seed came from!! Anyway, I was going to enter the 16oz solo cup challenge but I didn't realize time was running out and so i had already planted the seed by then and of course she popped and I grow attached to them when that happens so here we are!! Not to mention, this is my first indoor grow and so I'm not thinking or planning as I should be and so guess what problem I ran into next...well my tent was now in flower so lights were kn 12/12...so 3 days into the new seed I planted, i need more hours of light for her and so you'll see my solution in the photo or video..my lady thought it was hilarious when she walked into the bathroom to get ready in the morning and a baby cannabis plant was handing from the light fixture lmao!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is only temporary fix and she is only hanging up there for a few hours then I place her back into the tent to give her that much needed light!! I could always do the window trick but hey this was too fun!! 1st week is going amazing, as it can go lmao!! Between day 5 and 6 I added some rain water. It rained for almost 3 days straight here in Arizona so it was nice to be able to capture some rain water for my girls for once! Those days are few and far between unfortunately!!

Flowering day 74 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Wow this has been an amazing journey. These three plants have given me so much joy it’s gonna be tough to chop in a couple weeks. Plant 1(clone). Looks the same. No better or worse than before. It’s has always had a very bright greenish yellow color and has produced a small amount of bud that looks to be promising. Barely any trimming except for near the end of the run. Plant 2 (Cookies and Cream) This plant stayed small and bushy. And while I did miss a watering day I’m pretty sure this plant is almost ready. I had an issue with Hermie bananers but got that taken care of. Anyone else think I should harvest a week or two early. Plan was for July 4th weekend but I’m thinking two weeks early may be OK. Its getting purple and the top fan leaves are getting crinkly and drying out so I was told those can come off if they are falling off. Plant 3 (Cookies and Cream???) This last strain is either cookies or it’s called grease monkey. I may have mislabeled it when watering near week 3-4. But it’s still good. It got really tall and foxtailed with intensity. Bummed but not upset. All three look good and healthy for the most part.

Welcome Back!💚 Die erste Blütewoche ist ins Land gezogen und die Pistolen an den Blütenansätzen zeigen sich durchweg. Der Stretch war bisher moderat und dennoch spürbar. Nach dem Umzug in das größere Zelt, war es nun an der Zeit den Greenhouse Feeding Dünger einzuarbeiten und mit dem dazugehörigen Bioenhancer zu gießen. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie sich dieser Strain entwickelt. so far so good. struggling a bit with low humidity, waiting for some parts to repair an old humidifier.

Well she is coming to the end. I looked at her tricomes with a 60x handheld microscope and she has about 90% milky and 10% clear, with the occasional amber one. I thought about pulling her today but the smaller flowers look like they need more time. Also, I read someplace that if you think you are ready to harvest, wait a week as there is a 2 week window and waiting one week will put you in it. I have been giving her just tap water ph to 5.8-6.0 with the occasional extra gallon flush as I can not empty my basin right now. The root picture looks a little brown, but that's just the lighting. I reached in and checked the roots, no slime or odd smell. After I maneuver her around (bending her colas away from lamp) my hands smell like a pine air freshener or grass, (not like cannabis)? I have now supercropped 3 of her larger colas which can not be seen from the photos, but they are all the size of my wrist in circumference and about 6 inches long. While some have some toasted leaves, I think the buds will be fine. The extra cfls hanging on the outside have really made a difference in popcorn production! If I get an ounce out of this I am considering it a win, however I'm thinking it might be more, we shall see. Thank you for following my grow. Week 10 The OG Kush is really looking nice and green now because of 2nd extra Biotab.

Day 21 in flower and did a leaf stripping. Using gnatrol for fungus gnats which have exploded in population. Maybe not the two best strains for scrog. Blueberry doesn’t like to bend and death bubba is super leafy. But life goes on. See how she goes
