Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "GelatO.G" from Seedsman Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. Everything is growing strong with this lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She is stretching nicely with good internodal spacing. She responded well to training and is growing perfectly without too much crowding. The leaves all look very healthy and are a nice shade of green. Based on her look and color now, I am guessing she should get some really nice colors as she fades towards the end of flower. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Things are looking great! I started some backup seeds when things were looking really rough. Just in case. 😉 I also FIM’d my bigger plants because they were looking so much better! I have also removed the drip irrigation, just to make it more of a personable experience with my ladies. ☀️💦

It’s almost time! This week both plants are getting flushed to prepare them for harvest. 🌱 After that, they’ll be cut down and hung up to dry. #2 has developed an absolutely massive main bud — honestly the biggest I've ever had so far! Meanwhile, #1 stands proud as the tallest plant in the tent, still giving off that amazing sweet, tropical aroma.🍍🍬 Both plants have shown a very fast flowering time, finishing up quicker than expected! Upon checking the trichomes, about 65% are milky, 30% amber, and 5% still clear — exactly where I want them for the effects I'm aiming for. Super excited to see the final results after the dry and cure💚

January 24, 2019 The girls are doing WELL. My autos (Blackberry and NYC Diesel) are mid-flush now and will be chopped down this weekend. The Blackberry is a beautiful purple and the NYC Diesel is dense and chunky - both smell amazing!!! My photos are chugging right along also. The DinaFem Critical+ is definitely in the lead as far as bud development at this stage, with Seedsman Cream & Cheese CBD in a close second, followed by DinaMed CBD+ and the Cherry Hemp plants. This week I fed/watered 3 times (basically once every other day). The first time I fed with Recharge, Mammoth P and Big Bloom. The second time, I fed with Mr B’s Green Trees Bloom and Cal Mag. The third time was water only. ***January 26, 2019 update*** Cut down the FastBuds Blackberry and Barneys Farm NYC Diesel today and added a pic of the hanging branches. The NYC Diesel buds are much more dense than the Blackberry. The Blackberry buds are pretty loose and airy. I'm curious to see what they look like after drying for a week. Stay tuned..
