After going back and forth about the harvest, I decided to give her another week. It feels like the right balance between playing it safe and giving the plant the chance to fully express herself. The flowers keep maturing, the trichomes continue to develop and the terpene profile becomes more intense. The buds are getting heavy enough that several branches are now resting on the net for support. Without it, they would probably start collapsing under their own weight. The finish line is close now. Time to stay patient and let nature do the rest.

March 17 - 24 Growth is still going very well with lots of LST and defoliation. Business as usual with nutrients and the Blumat system seems dialed in a I prepare to leave them unattended for 5 days in April. Near the end of the week I installed a second net.

Day 8 ish all sorts of different sprout rates, looks like the #7 are lagging behind but i know those where the smelliest so mucb worth the wait!

white runtz seems to be holding its own in the center of the tent, really impressed with how well it has responded in flower after such a difficult veg phase

Week 6, quick root flash. All going very well the nutrients are at 2.5ml/l now, vita race weekly, bacillus mix. Plant started to flower properly and the stretch is on its way. Water at ph 6-6.5. I always try to keep the bottom clean so I do multiple clean ups of lower leaves and braches every week. Also doing this focuses the energy of the plant to the top and she doesn't waste time making popcorn buds.

Water week 6/1

I harvested them on day 58. A very sticky job. The branches were hung upside down for 10 days at 17 °C and 60% RH. After that, everything was jarred up, where it will now cure over the next few weeks. Overall, I’m very happy with this run. Aside from a few minor issues, everything went smoothly.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Well I'm sad and excited at the same time. Sad they got chopped but happy to see what all my work and dedication was for that sweet sweet marijuana. I know I'm just a beginner but damn with these genetics and love it is truly shocking what they can do in such a short time frame.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she’s doing good from the feeding of nutes yesterday and she really seems to like the second AGLEX light on, she’s already plumped up a ton overnight. Went and did a very light defoliating tonight as well and will continue with a little each day. Day 58 - Nothing much to speak of today, she’s fattening up nicely and frosty as hell. The way things are looking, she’ll probably be harvested in two stages unless some of the middle and lower stuff really start filling in. Day 61 - She was all dried up today and needed a good shot of water, pretty droopy, so gave her a full 2 gallons of plain water today. It’s looking like her pistils are shriveling up and might be coming to an end, just a couple weeks left. From here on out, I’ll start monitoring her trichs and probably start flushing her next watering. Day 62 - Did a pretty heavy defoliation today since she doesn’t have much more time left. Buds are nice and fat and only getting frostier and fatter. Might end up doing a little more in a few days depending on how she reacts to today’s work. Day 63 - Ending week 9 today and buds are amazing right now. She’s not gonna get any more nutes other than what the schedule calls for and that’s Magical and Sugardaddy for the flush. First time using the Technaflora nutes from start to finish and impressed so far. Removed a few more leaves today as well. The trichs are mostly cloudy right now with still a few clear but hopefully they’ll amber up in the next 2 weeks or so.

🇬🇧 Well… it’s starting to get a little out of hand. 😂 I’m defoliating something every single day because the leaves keep trapping moisture against each other. My little grow tent is absolutely packed now. 😌🌿 The girls are getting seriously hungry and they’re happily drinking 12 liters a day in total—that’s about 4 liters per plant. 💧 I’m going on vacation next week, so they’ll probably have to go on a little diet. There's one plant that isn't growing like the others and I can't find the reason. Despite that, this week went ok.

I had a fun experience growing this strain. She started out strong and finished pretty strong! The buds are covered in THC and smells sweet. The only thing I would really do better next time is trying not to nutrient burn her as much as I did towards the end. I also experimented with harvest time and came to the conclusion that the it's best to harvest a few weeks after their recommended time if you want denser buds (in my opinion). I do wish the buds were a bit more dense but I'm not a pro grower and that could be the reason for that. It's all a learning experience. It could be the strain because I'm going a Gorilla Cookies (FastBuds) and those buds are huge and don't have as many leaves. Overall I'm blessed with the outcome and I'm going to enjoy the perfectly dried buds soon :D I hope you all enjoy the little videos and music! haha I've only grown one plant before this which resulted in less than an eighth of bud so I'm beyond happy to say the least lol Let me know if you have any questions regarding growing and for some possible tips! This week I'm showing you the harvest of the second of the two London Pound Cakes, which was trained with a Mainfolding method, but without any LST bending. Technique Used: We did the first topping at the 5th internode, as per the manual (beforehand, we're talking about microgrowing; the plant can stay short, but it's advisable not to wait that long for autoflowers, for example). We created the Mainfolding by trimming everything after the topping, leaving only the two small branches. We let them grow for three internodes and then topped them twice more. We got several good buds, similar in appearance and of excellent quality. I only trimmed the one that seemed a bit off, a faded greenish color that wasn't getting much light. The plant is truly beautiful; it has opened up like a bush, nice and plump, and the flowers are firm and firm with a distinct sweet aroma that suggests a fantastic taste, something that's not at all obvious these days. Pot and Soil - This plant was grown in a 20-liter pot with Plagron's BioLight Mix organic soil, which gave us a solid start, and then we proceeded to fertilize. Lighting/PPFD - A Zamnesia Phytonaut 480W LED lamp was used from mid-flowering until fruiting. We achieved a PPFD (photosynthetically active photon flux density) between 800 and 1200 μmol/m²/s, with a cycle of 24 hours, then 23 hours, then 20 hours, and finally 18 hours. All with CO2, which mitigates the effects of heat and excessive light.
