Grow Update: Vanilla Latte Is on Day 27 Black Strap by Brother Mendels on Day 22 These are outdoor grows. Unfortunately the weather has been 100+ since germinated which is hindering growth. During the 100+ weather I use mister to keep them cool. Yes this did cause mild damage to the leaves but it was much better to keep them cool then to have them bake in this mini greenhouse setup. Heavy LST will take place through out the grow. I use standard twine which causes the least amount of stress possible in my opinion. Humboldt vanilla latte Auto has responded extremely well to training and has been a joy to work with. The black strap has also been okay but it is 5 days behind and is more indica dominant so its not taking the heat as good as the vanilla which is showing more saliva Dom traits. So far no complaints. Vanilla latte auto by HSO 1 of 10 seeds germinated. Blackstrap by brother mendels 1 of 1 germinated. It's in day 3 now and surviving outdoors with 100+ weather. Both seedlings are doing fantastic in the heat. Vanilla is on day 8 and blackstrap today is on day 3. Let's see how these go 🙌

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

10/13/2018 #1 still looking good, no fade. Start of week 9 of flower hope buds put on some weight this week should be 1 week maybe 2? Gonna be cold mid- week 38° on two nights. Holy Snow - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 60 🚿 watered twice this week, with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients, individually, in order and pH'd to 6.3. I've upped her nutrients again, increasing the bloom nutrients as she is now on a 12 hour light schedule 🙏🏻 ✂️ No work performed on her this week, as she has just switched to a 12 hour light schedule and will enter the stretch phase soon; so I don't want to stress her too much in this phase 👍🏻 She has a nice level canopy, so hopefully she stretches evenly now too 🤞🏻 🌸 I gradually reduced the light hours from 18 to 12 over the last few days! She will now remain on the 12 hours of light for the rest of her life cycle 👌🏻

At day 34, I can see more changes in the terpene profiles. The big winner at this stage is the pheno #2. Everything from her is superior: structure, bud size and consistency, resin production... The pheno #3 is my second favorite one for the same characteristics, except for the terpene profile which is the more favorable one among the 5. The girls still share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene). The sour lemon punch is still present in the phenos #2 and 4. Pheno #1 Sweet/Gassy Pheno #2 Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus Pheno #3 The more interesting terpene profile. She kept ALL the banana aroma from the tropical funk 😋 Sweet/tropical/skunk Pheno #4 The less interesting terpene profile. The aroma carries weird hints of soap. Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus/Chemical/Soapy Pheno #5 The terpene profile is very close from pheno #3. Very tropical and sweet, with less of the banana aroma. Sweet/tropical

Day 21. Looking good, been giving her general Hydroponics maxigro. Best all in one fertilizer on the market. Day 22. Lst and hst, removing 1 or 2 leafs per day to open her up. Day 27. Supercropped main cola. Looking good.

Had my run-in with powdery mildew midway through flower. But bud-washing was my savior! Completely killed all the pm and left me with a still incredibly strong end result. Its seriously some of the smoothest stuff I've grown to date, when smoked in a pipe.. I will be taking away 2 stars from the review because of the susceptibility to pm, however. This grow was a success as far as the autos go, overall... The photoperiod gal still has a few more days. Either way, I highly recommend this strain. Don't make my mistakes, make sure you keep your tent clean the whole grow through, ALONG with the air quality(just as important as the tent itself). That's where I honestly failed. After reading how spore transference works, I felt like such a knucklehead keeping my tent in a... 'homely' condition. Either way, lessons were had and I'm not one to make the same mistake twice! Cheers everyone, hope you all harvest some dankness as well 😀

May 25: growing quickly and looking quite good for the end of May. Fifth node is forming and the first topping for the manifold will likely be tomorrow. May 26: raised soil level using Pro-Mix and compost. Got rained on. May 27: first topping down to third node (removed 5 and 4). The only growth tips left are the two on the third node. In about a week these will be topped again. And then again. Manifolding (or mainlining) is totally easy and really is just topping at the right stages of development. Highly recommended technique. May 31: it’s been cool since the topping and seems a bit slow getting going again but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I probably could have waited a few more days before topping but oh well.

5/25 - Last entry just for completeness since she was technically still alive and kicking on this day. Added a bunch of pics and a vid prior to her chop, which was the night of 5/26 (pics for that will come after she's trimmed). I think she might yield even more than Helen, but we'll see. I can't say enough how fun this entire process has been, and I'm already feeling like an empty-nester without them. Definitely planning to start another grow (Mephisto Double Grape! and maybe another??) in a few weeks, but also thinking of adding additional electricity/outlets first. Not too much else to say here since I haven't been checking pH/ppm since I started "flushing" (my least favorite part of growing lol). I'm drying out a Heather tester bud I accidentally clipped when chopping her, and I'm excited to compare the effects to Helen (which I have been enjoying immensely!!)

Beautiful pair of phenos of Badaz og cheese very excited about what strain is gonna offer me in terms of quality buds, so excited to see what is every of this 2 phenos gonna be like, I really hope that both of them have the exact terpenes profile and the same potency! We'll the ladies have been Transplanted on February 2nd after 17 days since planted, they were very big and the pot was completely conquered by strong roots as you can see, now both of them are in their new 11l pot home let's see how they keep developing! 💛❤️💚🔝💎

Einen schönen guten Tag allen zusammen gewünscht 🙂 So wir befinden uns jetzt in der letzten Woche der Blühtefase. Wie vergangene Woche schon angesprochen musste die Cola des Haupttriebes geerntet werden bevor er vor Stress bzw. Überreife noch ,,vermännlicht,, Ansonsten ist sehr schön zu sehen, wie die Pflanze die Nährstoffe nach und nach aus den Blättern zieht. Das Düngen werden wir demnächst einstellen. Da wir organisch düngen muss auch nicht zwingend mit Wasser gespült werden. Dennoch wenn es abzusehen ist, werden wir trotzdem ein paar Tage nur reines Wasser benutzen. Auch die Terpene und Calyxe haben sich schön ausgeprägt und sehen echt mega aus. Nur noch wenige Tage und wie vermutet, auch ganz knapp zum Ende des S. S. CUP 24. Es sieht so aus, als hätten unsere von Vorhinein gesteckten Ziele sich fast komplett ergeben. Wir wollten eine gut Buschige, stabile Pflanze, die im obigen Bereich reich mit gut Durchschnittlichen Buds besetzt ist und so gut wie möglich, nicht viele kleine Buds besitzt. Na klar, einige sind auf jeden noch aufgefallen und beim nächsten mal wissen wir, das man da auch definitiv durchgehend dran bleiben muss, nur iwann ehrlicher weise, hatten wir auch das Auge dafür verloren (übermasse an buds und hier auch eher den mittleren teil der Pflanze gemeint) Die Pflanze ist so stabil, dass sie gar ohne Netz klar gekommen wäre. Auch das erste mal das wir dieses erleben durften, sonst machen die Äste immer eine ,,Biege,, ^^ Aber sowas benötigt auch abschließend gesagt, auch PLATZ muhuhuhaaaa 🤣 Diese Strain hat uns insgesamt nur mit positiven bereichert. Wir haben viele Erfahrungen und oder schon bereits erarbeites Wissen durch sie aufgefrischt und somit bewusst verbessert. Wir möchten Uns auch für all diejenigen bedanken, die sich unser Report angeschaut haben, werden und oder uns sogar auch Folgen! 3. Woche Wachstum startet wieder tip-top, Fatty ist gesund und munter und wächst wie wild 😁. 19. Tag Wurde bisschen entlaubt, nur unten 4 Fächerblätter. Oben die großen soweit möglich unter die Seitentriebe gebogen.

We entered the 7th week of flowering, we are no longer approaching the cut but it is still growing and producing giant buds, the smell remains strong, sweet, little by little we are approaching its end 🙌👏

These two girls grew in the back of my town with very minimal attention. I only had them in 3 gallon pots. I got about 2 ounces off each plant of top shelf didn’t even trim the larf there wasn’t much. I would definitely recommend Captain Redbeard’s genetics.
