2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

this is my first time transplanting from hydro to soil due to room/spacing issues, and let me tell you, this is NOT an easy task, and should be avoided at all costs, especially the bigger the plant. it almost seems impossible to remove all the clay pebbles without damaging some of those 2-3week old baby roots around those pebbles. i gently picked out as many clay pebbles as i could with my hand and then had to cut the plastic net pot to completely free up those roots without shocking the plant too much. the transplant was a success into soil 5gal, although I expected worse, and am expecting to be a few weeks behind to let her system reset/build. to make matters worse, its been VERY HOT in the midwest (90-100f). and here we go, later that same week, i accidentally left her overnight, and into the morning sun on a 100f day. as you can see from her burn marks, she clearly wasn’t able to defend herself against that type of extreme heat yet, and i was blessed to catch her before the afternoon heat, otherwise she’d be toast, lol. just a few of the upper leaves turned crispy. i know she wasn’t happy so i put her under more gentle conditions, now let’s see how she comes back

This is the final week, they are going to be chopped coming week. Already had some darkness and they are very very smelly. I am amazed at this strain's resilience. It had to deal with my noobishness with autos, heat, very hot soil and less PH buffering with my own super soil recipe (see the yellow image in the germination page) in the smaller bags. Still, they became huge and full of bud. Forbidden Runtz is an amazing strain. Very strong growth but also with most auto's I've grown: once the grow derails, it seldom recovers. But these do. I'm sure next grows I'm going to get even more out of them. Can't wait to try them again with what I've learned now. And you should all consider the SP-3000 as a growlight, look at my results! Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Flushed them, only water for the rest of their time. They're all gonna have to be cut down at the same time, will have to dry them in my tent.

I really hope these survive, i don’t have the space for them inside & it has been rainy and cold for a week and i don’t think it is gonna change anytime soon..

Man these seeds germinated to quick when I first planted them lol . The team over at this hemp company have been putting alot of work into their brand and seeds .. I was lucky enough to be able to try this @hokuseedsco "purple la berna " it's a hemp cbg/CBD cross measuring under 1%thc . I was interested in growing hemp and with the chance to start these I knew I was on the road to some killer buds. These plants were started indoors under my mars hydro ts-1000 and were grown in organic soil mix with organic nutes . Out of the seeds I planted I had a few males but a few females as well . After being Inside for a while I moved them all outdoors and transplant then into 7 gallon pails fabric and chill on them for a while . They loved outdoors and flourished I was battling hungry plants as I don't like to fed more then I have to or want to. In the end of it all I gave synthetic #future harvest nutes for a while and then I finished with the @dutchsciencenutrients "bloom" . My end result is a beauty pair of plants with one going down today and the other is this week end . The trained pheno was purple everywhere leaves stems and buds while the untrained pheno was tall over 6"feet and had bright orange Hairs with light green buds . I'm in love with this bud here and I'm eager for the next growing this spring.This stuff is the sweetest , danky smelling hemp I could have dreamed of. Crazy bag appeal and I can't wait to get the smoke report going as well .. my whole grow I also used @miicrobialmass every two or three weeks it's good at creating microbiology in the soil helping to release essential nutrients to their roots ..tasted good and gave over an ounce of buds they are sticky and light with very strong berry smells over powers THC cannabis near buy just wow ..calm smoke just kinda relaxes you away !

Day 51 - Deficiencies have gotten a bit out of hand the previous few days. Looking at the leaves I was thinking maybe calcium and magnesium deficiency, but it doesn't really make sense to me because I had: 1. Given a decent feeding with the Aptus cal-mag solution. 2. Calcium was already in the soil (pre-fertilized) 3. There is more often too much calcium in soil than too little. 4. There is a not insignificant amount of calcium in the water I use (causes limescale in a lot of things) So my guess is instead of calcium deficiency, I'm seeing next to some magnesium deficiency, a deficiency of phosphorus. So a couple of days ago I gave the plant FloraBloom which has both phosphorus and magnesium but no nitrogen or calcium. Today (two days later), the leaves are now feeling a lot less dry / crunchy, which was a supposed symptom of phosphorus deficiency. I expect to need to wait about two more weeks before harvesting. Maybe around 10 days. The trichomes are still fairly glassy although there's some cloudiness. Pistils are still mainly white though, so I'm expecting some fattening to happen. I don't really like feeding the plants at this point (short before harvest), but the deficiencies were severe enough to me that I'll keep giving FloraBloom this week. Next week I might stop depending on where the trichomes are at. Smell is excellent, I definitely now understand where the 'mandarin' name comes from. Very similar to a mandarin smell now. Other than the phosphorus / magnesium issue, the plants seems to be doing well.

Still did not get to smoke it, will let it cure for a few weeks. Many of the lower buds were very fluffly, in total there was around 140G dry, but around 40 grams will be kept with trim for cooking maybe. So 100 grams dry flower is pretty sweet outcome.
