Pretty quiet week in the tent. We did a little defoliation during the middle of the week but they are already full little bushes again. We raised the light up a bit to try and get them to stretch from the pots so we can lollipop in a few weeks. Our soil plants are doing very well too, @Foxfarm has really proven to be a great soil and the northen soul strain loves it. The smell inside the tent is definitely strong and they have been drinking alot more water.

This girl is stacking so nicely for someone who got very little grow time outdoors before the onset of flower. 2nd generation of shogun I have grown but never smoked, so I still don't know if its any good. LoL Something tells me this one is going to be something special. Lets see.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. 9/20 Adjusted lights to 40% at 24 inches. It looks like I have a whorled phyllotaxy with the Sticky Mango. 3 branches per node. Should be cool to see how she develops. 9/22 Watered at 900 mS/cm 9/23 Dropped ir light on plants. Broke a fan leaf off the Moonberry Pie Auto. Removed other leaf to maintain light distribution and symmetry. Otherwise plants look great. 9/24 Added IR lighting. 10 before and after lights on and off. Hung at about 48 inches. 9/25 Topped Pink Apple Soda and Yuzu Sour above 4th node. Watered at 1.080 mS/cm pH 6.1. Watered to minimal runoff. Reduced RH to 62% 9/28 Increased lighting to 50%. Topped the Sticky Mango Auto. Was going to get to tall. The whorled phyllotaxy aspect of the plant is interesting. It is definitely growing faster than the others . It even has pistils already and a VERY dominant side branch. The plant I dropped the IR light on (Moonberry Pie Auto) definitely got stunted even though only 2 fan leaves had to be removed. The other topped plants (Yuzu Sour Auto and Pink Apple Soda Auto) look great. Starting to get bushy. Tucked the large fan leaves. Turtle Taffy Auto has been rather disappointing. If it doesn't show me something soon I may not waist the nutrients and get another Tastebudz Genetics seed going. Really easy strain, grew super well despite my battling to balance the ph, changing of lights and a massive temperature/humidity spike. Looks good and smells strong. Looking forward to the next grow.

The plants have been receiving around 1300 µmol of light for more than a week. The osmosis water is enriched with fertiliser up to 1.9 ms This value is not expected to rise any further as the plants have become very dark green. There may only be water for a few days. The development up to this point in the 4th week of flowering is very satisfactory. Both genetics have obviously been thoroughly selected.

2/9 - 4 gal RO 2/10 - 5 gal RO 2/11 - Feeding nutrients plus cal/mag, 5 gal 2/12 - Feeding nutrients, 5 gal 2/13 - FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY ISSUE! The ph within the soil was too low. RO only at 6.5ph 2/14 - RO only 6.8ph 2/15 - Feeding nutrients, 4 gal at 6.7ph Monday 2/15 was one of the coldest days we've had, our winter storm took our power that evening. I was ok with going without lights, the plants would have made it through a day or two. However I was not prepared for below freezing temperatures. Overnight my plants froze to death. I went without power for another 36 hours at below freezing temperatures. There was no way I could save them now.

Hello Diary, White Widow has finished its fourth week of flowering, 7 weeks have passed since the beginning of the vegetation. Now I can already say that we are slowly approaching the end, from next week I will be painting her on a black background. What can I say, White Widow looks great. The flowers are very hard to the touch although they are not that big if I compare them to her roommates on the "Farm". Although smaller in volume, the flowers bend the branches slightly downwards with their weight. The main cola rises above the branches, the flowers on it are hard as a rock and full of trichomes. The smell is now very intense, when I open the grow box, the smell takes over the whole room. The leaves are a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every two days, they still require a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I am very happy to see how White Widow looks, all three plants on the Farm have far exceeded my expectations. White Widow has responded nicely to my efforts to provide her with the best conditions I can. Here is a quick overview of the past week. 06/09/2024 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer and lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 08/09/2024 - Day 46. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. 10/09/2024 - Day 48. Watering. Same procedure. 11/09/2024 - Day 49. End of the 7th week from the beginning of the vegetation, or the fourth week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. White Widow - Day 49. - 69 cm.
