The stretch is finally over haha Some good stacking going on so I switched over the blue supplemental light to red and turned on the under canopy lights - (40w full spectrum spider farmer). Worked ok in other grows Tomorrow is day 21 so the girls will get a great clean up Vpd - 1.25 Ppfd- 800-880

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. These changes bring the nutrient mix in line with what’s most beneficial at this stage. All this precise dialing in is easy to manage thanks to the TrolMaster system. Big leaves, no toppings, LST, or any other training. Just removed some lower branches. She’s just started flowering, but the growth rate of the flowers is high!

Week 4 for this Vice City x Papaya and the plant is adapting very well to direct outdoor cultivation under Moroccan conditions. The structure remains compact and healthy with strong leaf development and active new growth despite the dry environment and rocky soil conditions. The plant is showing good resilience during the early adaptation phase after being transplanted directly into the ground. Growth remains steady with healthy color and balanced development between the main stem and lateral growth. The root system is beginning to establish itself deeper into the surrounding soil, helping the plant handle heat and lower humidity more efficiently. So far the genetics are showing solid outdoor vigor and good adaptation to warm climates, with promising structure for continued vegetative expansion in the coming weeks.

Ok, very nice week here. Plant is stinking haha, very sweet smell. Trichomes are looking very cloudy and are starting to turn amber so am gonna hold off on nutes, or at least cut them down. Hopefully harvest end of this week or next week. Issues with the leaves seems to have stopped after adjusting the pH and adding some calmag.

The stretch finally... finally... stopped, just as I was starting to get worried about her outgrowing her bedroom. Four colas decided to shoot up above the rest of the canopy. I'm not mad about it. She's producing buds with vigor now--fat pistils and, interestingly, purple calyxes (happened with the last one I ran too... passive temp control for the win 🙃). A lot of trichomes popped up overnight too. She may finish sooner than I was expecting, which would be rad. She's grown into a real sphere of doom.

one smell like big babol

Today is day 111 since the plants sprouted, and day 55 of flower (week 8). This will probably be the last update before taking the plants down for trimming. The buds on the Papaya Sherbert are starting to get some fox tails, and I don't want those to get too long when I take them down for trimming. The trichomes on the buds are looking fine, even though I'd prefer to see more amber. The Orange Sherbert is looking very leafy, and I'm not looking forward to trimming it. Overall, I think I'm expecting 7-8 ounces in total, and most of that will come from the Orange Sherbert. I've stopped giving them nutrients, and they're getting FloraKleen to remove the salts from the nutrients I've been using. They'll probably get plain water for another few days before coming down.

Fatter and fatter It’s a jungle in there , I changed reservoirs Saturday I am pulling off all the bottom bits , they are so bushy , I had a little accident with one of the tops 😟 Did huge defoliate weds last one , see pics

All in all i ended up with almost 2.5ozs of some super nice rock hard buds and another oz of some larfy smaller buds i made into cannaoil with coconut oil!! I will grow her again for sure but next time i will start it in my big tent and let her stretch her arms and legs out and see if i can get a monster!!!
