Week 7 there hasn’t been any changes for either of the girls. Girl #1 is still looking the same. It seems she has finally stopped stretching. Looking forward to seeing her bulk up in the coming weeks. Girl #2 still hasn’t showed any signs of flowering. I’m gonna continue to be patient with her in hopes of her just being a very late bloomer. Everything has been running smoothly. I will start to introduce bloom nutes in the next coming weeks. I didn’t expect girl#1 to get so big but I’m not complaining. This has been such a pleasing and educational experience. Thank all of those who have viewed my diary. Thank you again for your support.

Last Time I Washed The Soil Off And Stuck Them Roots And All Raw Dog Into The Hydro. They Did Well At First! But It Didn't Last They Barely Had ROOTS! This Time We're Following Some New Found Knowledge And Advice, Keeping Lots Of Healthy Bacteria In Our Res With LAB And Keeping Our Plants In Soil! I Will Feed Both The Res And Through Top Water! This week we started to give her only water. Very few new pistils are showing and mostly cloudy trichomes. We are in the final stretch now - thinking 4 to 7 days.

September 2, Day 43. I removed the trellis because it was annoying and I realized the spaces were too large and that's why it felt clumsy... Kabob sticks are doing the trick so far. As I was clipping some leaves to prepare for flowering, I noticed roots growing through the bottom of the pot. I hate transplanting plants so I sat the current pot in another pot that was filled 30% with additional coco coir that had been prebuffered with seedlings strength nutrients to avoid shock. I am confident the roots will continue their journey through the first pot and into the additional space below. Now to observe for a few days, aiming to switch to flowering next week. I have removed at least 30 leaves throughout the last week and she is still looking so bushy and healthy... Thanks Recharge. I ordered Big Bud by Advanced Nutrients and I look forward to using it during flowering. SUPER MEGA HAPPY UPDATE Day 44, September 3. I clipped a branch and planted it in a prebuffered with seedling strength nutrients rockwool pellet... I baptized her Kaboom Baby.... And. She. Survived!!! Ahhhhh!!! So freaking happy! I am going to start a second grow under this diary called Kaboom Baby, La Reinita Africana. Update, Day 46, September 5, 11am. Fed and watered with all nutrients except Recharge. 🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. I'm gonna have to try this strain again as the pheno that I got was not 'The One'😞. It didn't display the really dark, desirable, coloration in the leaves and was EXTREMELY sensitive to nutrients and water amount! Hard as I could try I couldn't get her dialed in. She looks and smells amazing but she ended up much smaller than I expected and was not a big resin producer. Have to see how she smokes after a 4 week cure!😛 I did end up trying out a nug from a jar that was @ 58%RH. It was ROCK HARD, crystallized and smoked incredible! You can immediately feel it hit you right in the forehead, them moves through you with a tranquil relaxing stupor.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. As we move forward, the focus remains on the consistent monitoring and adjusting of their environment to ensure these Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids realize their full potential. Stay lifted, Salokin

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

8/5/2023 - Day 32 Veg: This is officially the start to week 5. She has been in the earthbox for one week now and I can definitely tell the difference. She has finally started to pick up speed, and it looks like she has grown out of the minor deficiencies I started to notice last week. It was nothing too serious, but the leaf in between the veins was looking a bit light. The foiler feed and compost tea seems to have helped. I'm sure the larger bed of soil is helping too. So far she seems to be looking more indica leaning, with the fatter leaves and she's a little squatty, so I haven't had to do any training yet. I will still probably top her at least once, but I haven't decided yet. 8/9/2023 - Day 35 Veg: did a light watering today with plane water at a ph of 6. 8/10/2023 - Decided to top her today

Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Es una variedad sencilla amarillean un poco por una carencia de magnesio que solventare con los productos de Agrobeta ya veréis cómo recuperan. En las fotos podréis comprobar que 3 de 6 sufren bastante la carencia de magnesio. (Roughly) Day 83 from seed, Day 28 of Flower- Ladies are getting EXTREMELY frosty already so I can only imagine how they will look towards harvest! Plant two is doing a little better color wise. Something is going on with the leaves of plant one mostly. Maybe it is because i was using overflow water straight from the air conditioning unit instead of the tap? I'm having to pull a lot of dead leaves off
