Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

Still waiting on them beneficial bugs to arrive at my door mail, meanwhile i keep giving my love and attention to her and she despite the uninvited thrips and the spiderweb here and there that i yet am able to identify the source and i clean every day, she still is looking pretty nice to my eyes, not at all the best color leaf or what ever, she seams to be always starving, i keep increase my EC and the run out it keeps coming lower lol, she is a demanding litle fellow this one 😇😇😇 I will keep you all posted as for what i am doing and how i will deal with this situation so stay tuned since this can go one way or the other lol <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. 6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Chinook Haze plants have 3 nodes already, and are starting their 4th. 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 33" above the 2 Chinook Haze plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

2 choc mints are looking very nice thickening up nicely. Smell is unreal. Gorilla nugs are very white and full of trichs however not as dense as the choc mint. The choc mint buds are extremely dense i would be careful with temp and humidity as there is definitely potential for mould due to sheer size and denseness. 2 different phenos of choc mint both really nice but one has stretched slightly more and and has more crown buds.

As she continues to stretch into the holidays and new year I am looking forward to growing this monster outdoor in 2025 probably in a 10 gallon pot.

So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. Pour préparer votre solution, dans votre réservoir ou arrosoir : Mettre en premier la base (Iguana) Ensuite Ancient Earth Et enfin les bactéries ASSUREZ-VOUS D'UTILISER UNE EAU DE BONNE QUALITE (EC < 0,2) POUR DE MEILLEURS RESULTATS. J'utilise un substrat non enrichi pour permettre le meilleur départ à mes plantes. Il s'agit du Promix de Plagron, il a une EC proche de 0, c'est pour cette raison que je commence les engrais assez fort dès le début. Les plantes sont très gourmande sous LED haute intensité et l'enracinement est rapide. J'arrose tous les 3 jours environ avec 2 arrosages à l'engrais et 1 à l'eau par semaine. Je n'attend pas que le substrat sèche complétement sinon ça réduit l'efficacité de l'arrosage, ça détruit la faune et éventuellement facilite la cristallisation des minéraux. Au niveau du volume d'arrosage, il faut prendre en compte 1/3 de la taille du pot. Pour un pot de 1L je vais donc arroser environ 300ml. Pour un Pot de 10L je vais arroser environ 3L. Il est important d'arroser doucement pour éviter que l'eau ne coule tout de suite au fond. Il est important d'avoir au moins 15% de drain pour s'assurer d'évacuer tous les nutriments non consommé et faire la place aux nouveaux. IL EST PRIMORDIALE D'EVACUER L'EAU AU FOND DES COUPELLES, c'est une eau qui est chargée en nutriments non consommé et on ne veut pas qu'elle remonte dans les pots car cela risquerait de créer des blocages. Au niveau de la technique de taille de formation, je réalise tout de suite une FIM que je reproduirai dès que l'apex aura repoussé. La première FIM est la plus longue mais les suivantes sont très rapide car la plante s'habitue à la technique et cela la stress beaucoup moins. En général il faut reproduire la FIM tous les 3 à 4 jours en fonction de la vigueur. C'est une technique très facile à mettre en œuvre et ne demande aucun matériel. C'est aussi la plus rapide pour obtenir des buissons. N'hésitez pas à me contacter si vous avez des questions concernant la FIM! Je retire également les feuilles supérieur (pas toute pour éviter de ralentir la plante) qui cache les secondaires pour augmenter l'efficacité de la FIM sur la croissance des secondaires.

This ladies got pretty big for real, hands down the biggest autos I've ever had grown in 7l pots, excellent performance, and the flowers start to stink really strong, there is one pheno which is more developed than the other 2 phenos but the 3 have developed really good and they are producing a lot of sticky and stinky trichomes! Very easy to grow in hydro, I did what I have done before, and did minimal defoliation. The plant drops some lower leaves herself as we go along anyway, as they begin to receive minimal light penetration. Northern lights had a shape that made it easy to grow with my light setup. The bigger buds were produced in the areas of the side lights, and let it also be known my harvest could have become a tad bigger if I hadn't picked off small buds and smoked them in the very end - must account for at least 30-40g or so, dunno precisely tho. The weed works like the usual homemade jazz, top notch. Top shelf. Northern lights did not disappoint, but I have pulled bigger yields of a White Rhino for example, made in the same manner. This is why it only get 8/10 stars. It simply lose two stars on yield, but the Rhino would also only have gotten eight stars, because it had deficiency problems on its own for example where this northern lights lady had zero deficiency probs - very stable plant. Recommended for both beginners and seasoned growers who are on the lookout for stable strains.

Not much to say about this real first grow week’s start. Everything looks ok, steady growth at 40% light. I had to restart the control app a few times, therefore the broken graphs. At night times, the control software tries to attain optimum humidity rather than optimum VPD. That’s why VPD is dropping when the lights are out. CO2 is back to baseline – really wonder what the reliable values are … I found I have to silence the blowers when a timelapse photo is being taken. The shaking you see at the beginning of the grow video should not appear, or to a much less degree, in the future. Day 13 (July 30th) shows good, steady growth. Leaves are a bit spotty, although less then the processed images show. Something to be worried about? I would not currently … All are developing their 3rd nodes now. The controlling Raspberry Pi crashed last night when I tried to access it remotely … ;( – looks like the Connect software is in need of an update. The leaf temperature sensor is now really aimed at lady-to-be nr. 1’s leaves. Nothing to change that I see. I won’t cut the top yet, just watered the outer circle of the big pots slightly to encourage root growth. Day 14: Nice growth. First plant is now at 11 cm, and at 12 cm on day 15. Nothing special to report so far, except for I had to move the internal camera a bit upwards to keep little lady #1 in focus. Day 16 and last day of this week (Aug 2nd): The young ladies are now at about 14 cm tall. Growth looks very compact though. I think the two inside girls will lose their heads next week; I’d still prefer to have one or two more nodes available. Pictures of this day are taken at the end of the plants’ day. Notice their leaves are pointing upwards, which should be a sign that they want more light. I turned the lights up by another 20% for a total of 60 W now. Weather was pretty hot the last days so it wasn’t possible to stay in optimum VPD range but as long as growth is this satisfying I don’t mind. I will water them slightly at their next day start. Outside plant’s soil humidity might still be at around 58% officially, but drying starts at around 40% with this measurement and the sensors are placed quite closely to the stems so outer soil is dryer. I am preparing the plant water with some additions and a frequency imprint suing some Solfeggio and Schumann frequencies.

Compared to her sister, this Pineapple Express auto flowered very early! I LST'd her while I could, and defoliated what was necessary. She turned out great! Although the yield for this phenotype is at my lower limit for acceptable. I'm happy that I'm growing a second one, that vegged out longer, making for a much larger Pineapple Express!

Ultimately they are all healthy and doing great. Still have few weeks left of flowering but White Widow and Peyote getting frosty already. BlackSugar healthy but still little slower then the rest. Super happy with the White Widow, just lots of bud sites from the bottom to the top. I think maybe 3.5 weeks left close to end of the month. Super Happy

Week 8 underway! Watered on 01/04 with 1.5L 5.8PH 1.8 EC, 5ml/L Terra Grow and 1ml/L Green Sensation. They looking good and are mostly on a water-every-2-days schedule. Really couldnt be happier with plagron at the moment. 1 Bottle until recently and they look and grow dandy in their 5L Pots. Added Green Sensation but im sure it will be equally good. Great bang for your buck so far! One BPP is purpling like crazy, one LCC is getting colorful. The other ones each look pretty standard, but healthy and fat nonetheless! watered on 03/04, 1.5L, 5.8 PH, 1.8 EC watered on 06/04, 1.5L, 5.8 PH, 1.8 EC end of week 8!
