***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this seedsman plant is still quite sensitive to cooler temps. My tents hitting 17c at night and it still is acting like its hitting 10c as autumn colours are popping off on them. Some of my other plants are also discoloured but not to the same extent as this one. All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 10cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Welcome to week 5! Things are progressing along as some plants have started to display sex. I've removed some of the males that have shown themselves so far as we aren't looking to breed this run. Last week of Ozz! I’m getting some nice trichromes. Surprisingly, she doesn’t smell much, but she’s still beautiful. She also has the best ratio of buds to leaves out of the three plants of the same strain. I’ll start trimming Dorel by Friday and #4 this weekend to free some space. Then it’ll be Ozz’s turn on Sunday or Monday. The relative humidity levels are getting dangerously high, but the temperatures are still fine until next week. Since she’s covered, I have good hopes she’ll hold. No additional bud has rotted since two weeks ago :)) Just finished trimming Dorel and will do #4 tomorrow. Fan leaves were super frosty so I kept them to cook, ended with 17g of trim (only fan leaves and too small buds) as well as 37g of dry buds. Not much but it was the smallest plant of the 3 by far, I wasn’t expecting more. First taste test was really conclusive, looking forward to testing again after some curing! Edit before I complete the harvest section, all 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution. A quick summary of the harvest so far: - Dorel: 250g wet, 37g dry / 17g trim (54g total) - #4: 450g wet, 33g dry / 7g maybe / 29g trim (62-69g total) + a lot thrown away - Ozz: only weighted the two bigger canopie I cut, 162g+142g≈300g wet. It represents around half of the whole plant (probably less, but stem included), so around 5-600g wet total. Still have a few days before I start trimming, but considering the hassle I might start early to not be overwhelmed.

Currently checking daily and tying away branches/leaves to give the buds more light and watering when the soil is dry. Currently my plants drink exactly 1,5L a day. I have the feeling that the right plant is lacking a bit of potassium. I'll leave everything as it is for now because the left plant (fresh new soil) is growing well. Since the right plant is quite bushy anyway, I'll defoliate it again later and remove any lower shoots. I started adding the Bio PK booster towards the middle of the first week of flowering, 2ml per liter of water; as the pH value drops too much, I correct it upwards with Biobizz pH up - from pH 5.5 to 6.5 for 3L, I add a total of 39 drops. My water is mixed as follows: 3L osmosis water, plus 6ml CalMag, 6ml BioPK 5-8 and 39 drops of pH + BioBizz.

These two plants have given me the experience and the desire to do even better! Next genetics I thought I would bring another pure Indica...

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. Moin, Mittlerweile befinden wir uns am 21. Blütetag und damit am Ende der 3. Blütewoche. Der Stretch ist komplett vorbei und die Pflanze konzentriert sich deutlich auf die Blütenbildung, viele weiße Pistils sprießen aus den neu gebildeten Blütenständen. Entgegen meiner Erwartung sind alle Blüten mit Trichomen überzogen und die ersten süße Terpenen liegen in der Luft. Meine Vorfreude auf diesen Strain ist wirklich groß! Bisher sind keine Anzeichen von Stress oder andere Mängel erkennbar und die Blätter haben ein sattes grün. Die Pflanze braucht von ihrer Struktur her etwas Unterstützung, die Triebe bleiben auch für einen Steckling relativ dünn und freuen sich darüber in der spätestens Blüte unterstützt zu werden. Hi, We’re now on the 21st day of flowering, which marks the end of the third week of flowering. The stretching phase is completely over, and the plant is clearly focusing on flower development; many white pistils are sprouting from the newly formed flower clusters. Contrary to my expectations, all the flowers are covered in trichomes, and the first sweet terpenes are in the air. I’m really looking forward to this strain! So far, there are no signs of stress or other deficiencies, and the leaves are a rich green. Due to its structure, the plant needs a little support; the shoots remain relatively thin even for a cutting and will appreciate some support by the time flowering begins at the latest.

Die dritte Blütewoche ist nun vorbei. Die Pflanze geht auch ordentlich in den Stretch und hat in dieser Woche nochmal 8cm zugelegt. Im Vergleich flacht der Stretch nun allerdings ab. Die Pflanze hat einen wundervoll geschwungenen Wuchs. Sie ist schön Breit und dennoch kompakt. Ihre Höhe schätze ich als Moderrat ein. Die Pflanze legt insgesamt eine top Performance hin. Bildet allerdings viel Blattwerk aus, daher habe ich nochmal ordentlich defoliert und die unteren Triebe Rausgeschnitten. Die Blutenstruktur bildet sich bis jetzt eher fest und Kompakt aus. Gegrowt wird wie immer rein Organisch, diese Woche gab nochmal einen kleinen PK Booster 5-8 mit 5ml auf 1 Liter Wasser.
