To germinate the seeds I put them in hot water for 12 hours, I put them in a dish with slightly damp paper and closed it with the film. The seeds are germinated in 48 hours. At this point I put the seeds in plastic cups previously drilled and filled with a mix of ground professional plus 30%, coco professional plus 69% and mychorrhize 1%, at a depth of 3 cm. Then I watered with 5 ml of distilled water with rhizotonic and NPK + micro elements 20-10-10 ph: 6.0 and c: 0.5. After 3 days the little ones came out. At 7 days from the seed the young plants exhibit an incredible vigor and an already thick and strong root system.

During the final flowering week, the plant finished very smoothly and evenly. Bud stacking continued without signs of stress, foxtailing, or late-stage issues. The calyxes swelled further and the overall structure clearly reached its final form. Trichomes were predominantly milky, with approximately ~5% turning amber, indicating full maturity. Aroma development was strong, clean, and well-defined. The flush was fully completed, and water uptake had noticeably decreased, which further confirmed that the plant had entered its final ripening stage. Overall, a calm and controlled finish to the flowering cycle.

I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

Let's go to the finale. The eighth and final week of flowering. The flowers are hard as a rock. The trichomes are milky and sometimes an amber hue appears.

Howdy, here's a brief Week 9 update: It's become autumn in the tent! Temps are dropping, plants are showing signs of senescence one by one (although some reluctantly so, am I right SJ?). Headbanger, as expected, is finishing up first. Leaves are crisping up, colors are showing a slow, clean fade. I was pretty sure I burned her a little juding by the green tips, but Mephisto previously described this on the profile page, so maybe a little bit of both? Mango, finally cut out of the scrog net and turned 180°, got light-burned AGAIN and I am since giving her as many stable days as possible to get off the stress-edge, to retain those remaining beautiful terps. She is finishing faster due to a troubled history, but I am very proud to have her (alive at this point) and already learned a LOT about sativas. SJ is still watching the show from the corner, has settled building her rainforest canopy, and is just slowly bulking every day. Most content plant (well, as indica representation more resilient anyway), is hesitantly absorbing some Nitrogen from her fluffy, roughy, textured canopy. She'll let me know when things go south. Not gonna lie, OSMH, after some reasearch into her "natural" soil conditions, already caused me to try and wrap my hot dehumidifier exhaust around the pots, in order to avoid scary root temp collapses during nights towards 15°C. I am giving the plants warm-ish waterings to raise soil temps slightly, but watching her suffer more is driving me a little nuts. She definitely managed to take a scratch at the little pride I still had remaining 😂 I clipped some videos from my personal vid log, enjoy. I think I have a LOT of larf incoming 😓. Don't be greedy.

Life has taken some very unexpected turns, so I’m just posting a few pictures for now. I’ll probably only post another update once the harvest is done. In July, I’ll be moving to a new apartment with some extra space, and I’m planning to extend the growing area.

Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve FIMed the main and continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 2ml/gal. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Mars Hydro tsl2000 is providing ~500-550 ppfd across the canopy. At this point the plants in the RDWC loop have different nutrient needs so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.

Asal got a trim to open up the air flow and a LST to spread the canopy a little more. Thinking I am done with the lateral spread at this point. Benesh got the same treatment. Asman has been taking the hits when I have overdone the LSTing. Thank goodness for masking tape and time to repair!

Placed pot into tent with no light on. 📅2/10/24 Wednesday 📋 Dropped the seed into 40ml of water with 5ml/L katana roots and 0.1ml/L neutralise at 5.00pm. 5.00pm turned light on @ 100w 80cm above the soil, Ppfd=197, 24hr DLI=17.0 10.00pm placed seed into moist paper towel. 📅3/10/24 Thursday 📋 7.30pm tap root breaking through the side of the shell so put the seed into 12L fabric pot, and placed in the tent under constant light. Can't recall ever having a tap root coming through the side before. 📅4/10/24 Friday 📋 9.00pm looks like movement. 📅5/10/24 Saturday 📋 9.00pm not broke ground properly but cotyledons are visible and looks stuck in part of the shell casing. Day 0 ******************************************** Germination summery. 📋 Didn't take that long for the Lemon cherry gelato to start breaking ground, she seems to be struggling to open up at the moment and is a funny yellow colour. Friday 1st December 2023 So today marks the start of week 2! Both plants are growing every day, everything seems to be going well so far! The TS600 *should* be arriving this weekend so that will be a nice upgrade. I've started with nutes today, introduced CalMag, Biobizz Grow and Canna Rhizotonic whilst following all feeding advice I can find online. Got my PH Pen calibrated properly today, after mixing my first batch of feed the PH was 8.7! I'm glad I took the time to review those readings as I'm sure this would've been very bad for the plants. Brought the PH down to 6.5 on the nose and gave both plants a good watering, won't give them anymore for a few days and see how they respond over the next few hours. Fingers crossed! Any advice on watering, feeding and nutrients would be greatly appreciated 🙂 Saturday 2nd December The post man must've hated me today! Lots of stuff delivered for the tent and I've installed it all, up and running! Gone for a 4 inch inlibe fan with carbon filter exhausting out the top of the tent, completely invisible from the outside, almost silent and feels like good airflow. My Mars Hydro TS600 also arrived, so hooray for no more purple photos! The light intensity is a huge increase over the amazon special in the tent prior to this, but it's done well so far so I'll stash it away as an emergency backup unit. The TS600 seems to be a perfect fit in the 80x80 tent, it's exceptionally light and wickedly bright. Here's to hoping the plants benefit from a few conscious upgrades 😊 No watering today as media still damp, plants looking healthy and pushing out more leaves every time I check them. Hopefully we are doing well so far! Sunday 3rd December Plants are continuing to grow well, I do think the new light has made a good difference to them! Have made a point of swapping the pots left to right and rotating the plants to make sure they get even light coverage. Using the extractor and carbon filter now as the plants have started to give off an aroma. Going well and nothing seems to be struggling, I'll keep doing what I'm doing and follow my feed schedules. See you tomorrow! Monday 4th December Plants looking great again. After doing research decided to go up to my 11L pots in plenty of time to prevent as much stress as possible. Surrounded the old fabric pots with coir, surgically removed the old 7L pot with a razor blade and lifted it out ever so carefully. Went super smoothly, the roots are nowhere near the outer edges of the 7L pots anyway so they just slid out with minimal disturbance to the plants or the substrate around them. I hope this was successful as I took extra care and followed some good guidance. Lightly watered to encourage the roots to their new home, fingers crossed they hardly noticed what happened and have minimal stress as a result, but I'm expecting growth to slow as a result and I'll take it nice and steady from here. Tuesday 5th December Checked the plants at 7am before work and they looked very sorry for themselves. Droopy and exhausted looking, I spent the whole day at work convinced I'd come home to two dead plants from transplant shock. Instead I've come home to two ladies that have stretched their legs and grown even more! Super relieved, let's see how they go this next few days with more space to root in to 😁 Wednesday 7th December Plants are doing great! Spreading out and growing really well, the soil was bone dry when I checked them at 7pm so I mixed a fresh batch of nutrients up and gave them a steady watering. Lots of new leaf development, I'm really happy so far 🙂 Thursday 8th December Came home from work to lots more growth, as a first time grower it's absolutely amazing just how fast these things grow! They don't seem to be struggling at all and I'm being really careful watering them. I have also introduced a cheap 2L humidifier for the tent, running it on low to see how it affects the overall humidity as it keeps dipping low. It's winter here so really dry with central heating. I guess we keep going as we have been and see what week 3 brings us!

Week 6 Update Things are doing really nicely in my auto tent.The buds are starting to fatten up. The purple pheno looks amazing 😍. The Mixed Auto #3 is doing great even though her leaves are curled. I'm letting her dry out longer before I water her. Also the 2 autos to the back are 1 week behind the 2 to the front Can't wait to see how they look this coming week. See yall next week! Hoy 03/10/2022 siguen en crecimiento sobresaliendo en altura ya que se estiraron mucho al buscar la luz. En el transcurso de la semana las cambiare a una luz mas fuerte y cambio de maceta final que sera de 1 galon que viene hacer 3.78541 litros para ser preciso.

Last night, I fertilized our two plants for the first time, using 0.5 ml of Hesi Bio Grow per 500 ml of water for each one. I'll put them out on our balcony in the middle of next week.
