Well she has definitely stopped growing now. I got a bit of light bleaching on a few tops unfortunately. Should have turned the light down to 80% but I wasn't thinking. Hopefully itll bounce back like my chempie by Ripper seeds I did a few grows back that got a bit of light bleaching also. It was just on one bud but I caught it and was able to correct it before crop. Going to add a bit of Revive to the feed next week to see if it'll help a bit. Also had a issue with high ppm in my run off that I was struggling with a bit that I've slowly corrected. Been a bit of a learning curve with the coco but I'm loving it. Great results all around. End of week 7 going into week 8. Lots of pistils popping out but still don't have that bud fattening I was hoping for, not enough light and temperature a little lower than normal are slowing it down I suppose. The plan is very compact and sturdy and start to smell everyday more. Buds appears to concentrate on the main cola, all the side branches are not giving much. I defoliate it a little bit to help sunlight to reach inside buds, I think i removed less than 10% of its leaves, some of which were half eaten already by my cat. Feeding schedule is getting heavy but the plant doesn't seem to feel any stress about it. Thanks for passing by and happy growing 🌱🌲🌳

Flowering starts

For LIQUIDS & NUTES ******GREEN BUZZ NUTRIENTS***** organic. Also i’m using their LIVING SOIL CULTURE in powder form! MARSHYDRO ⛺️ has large openings on the sides which is useful for mid section groom room work. 🤩 ☀️ MARSHYDRO FC 3000 LED 300W 💨MARSHYDRO 6” in-line EXTRACTOR with speed-variation knob, comes complete with ducting and carbon filter.

The plant is developing well after pruning. its branches grew well. I removed the first node as they were small.

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

15th Week Report 23/01/20 - 30/01/20 24/01/20 Filled the reservoir with 12L half strength solution since I don't think a plain water flush would help, but just stress the plant. Even if it's written on the bottle to avoid mixing "Final Solution" and "Enzymes" I did it since the solution is just at half strength. Final solution was added at full strength 29/01/20 Harvest day! First Harvest Wet Weight Is 350g! 💦💦 Nothing particular to say, trichomes are 5-10% 🔍 Amber and while I was trimming them I sniffed the best weed flavour I ever felt in my life! I left a couple of colas and the lower growth by looking at trichomes because they aren't mostly cloudy, but clear. For the second harvest I will look exactly like now to trichomes, probably they need 1 or 2 more weeks 💪💪 "Harvest Week" will be published when buds will be dry 😋 Last Update 29/01/20 See you guys ;)

D36. The start of the second week of flower and all is well in the tent. It's a very low-maintenance grow. I train her to maximize the canopy in such a tiny tent, but that's it. She has started drinking from the reservoir and has gone through about a third of it in the first week. ------------------------------ D38. I gave her one liter of water @ pH 6.8, mixed with SF nematodes, humic acid, fulvic acid, sprouted seed tea, and bokashi juice. I also put two avocado halves on the soil to keep the worm buddies fed and happy. ------------------------------ D40. I increased DLI to 50, which raised the temp in the tent, so I changed the exhaust to 15 min on / 15 min off to lower the temp again. The average VPD is 1.2. ------------------------------ D42. The second week of flower is at an end, and there's nothing to report. This grow is so hands-off that it's slightly boring ;) ------------------------------

She continues to put on weight. It has been a hot week here in Northern California but I don't think its gotten over 80 F in the tent. She is looking great to me and I am looking forward to seeing some amber so I know its time to harvest.

Tok off large fan leaves on day 24. Seeing preflower starting. Decided to try out a natural shape instead of doing LST. I hope this doesn't backfire... The blackberry gum on the right is getting big. I like how autopotamus has natural shape... But he also has much more light haha

Woche 6

Giorni 28 Che spettacolo di odori!!! Le Rainbow sono lime/zkittlez/uva e ti impregnano le mani e ti viene voglia di staccarle e fumarle ora. Le due Pink sanno di gas/pesca (una mi ricorda l'erba più buona che ho mai fumato e cioè l' Oz Kush). Anche se una ha avuto problemi e l'ho dovuta sciacquare (#2) ora sembra stare meglio anche se alzando i fertilizzanti il colore è ancora un po' giallo. Le tre Barbara'Pie posso solo dire anche qui frutta allo stato puro ma con qualcosa ancora che non riesco a capire. Due sono molto simili l'altra è più cicciotta. La Baker Delight piena di resina e odora leggermente di biscotti ma è la pianta più indietro di tutte. Ci vediamo settimana prossima e ricorda di spendere il tuo tempo nella ricerca del seme e che nessuno ti regala niente di buono 😏

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Another two weeks down, and the tent’s definitely alive and kicking. Some branches started leaning over, so I tied up the colas before things got out of hand. I pulled CalMag for a bit, thinking it was leaving residue in the reservoir — but turns out the real culprit is probably the Connoisseur Coco base. Kinda sad, because I really like these nutes, but looks like they’re not the best match for hydro-style Autopots. They leave sediment. Time to move on. I added a 25-micron filter to the circulation pump, and that helped quite a bit — though it’s still not perfect. Next grow will be with CANNA Coco — hoping for a cleaner run. Lemon Orange already looks like it's getting flushed, even though I haven’t started yet. Gonna give it two more weeks and then probably chop. King’s Juice? That thing exploded — totally outgrew the scrog because I didn’t bend it in time. Bit of a jungle now, but I’m rolling with it. Oh — and they’re drinking like crazy: 2 liters a day from the res, easy.
